Amy Piper of Signature Events helped plan both of our daughters’ weddings (five years apart)—and, quite honestly, neither would have been as wonderful as each was without her tireless help. Amy huddled with mother and daughter, provided creative suggestions for everything from caterers to table settings, and insured that both special days went off seamlessly.
Amy has an exhaustive list of vendors and recommended those that most appropriately fit our girls’ styles and our budgets. She has thousands of pictures of other weddings she has done and can open all sorts of possibilities for yours—and you do the choosing.
We all enjoyed working with Amy. She is personable, organized, creative, resourceful, and damn good at every aspect of this sometimes mind-boggling process. If you don’t know where to start about venues (indoors or out), bands, caterers, tents, tables, glasses or champagne, start with Amy; if you are worried that you won’t think of every little detail before the wedding day (and believe me, you won’t think of every little detail), let Amy walk you through them and then enjoy as she manages them for you. And if you really want to enjoy every moment of your child’s actual wedding day, let Amy oversee the process because when the occasional plan goes slightly awry (and it can happen), Amy is there to gently (but firmly) coax it back into place—and more often than not, without you ever knowing it.
Perhaps the fact that we worked with Amy five years after she helped us the first time is testament enough of her prodigious skills. But we enjoyed working with her enough the first time to know that we could trust her again. And we were right to have chosen her both times. We could not have done it without her.
