I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else. When I saw the images online, I thought it was too good to be true. When we finally made our way up from LA to visit, we saw it was even more magical in person.
Aesthetics aside, what really made it a fabulous experience was their events coordinator, Claire Gibson. From the initial outreach response, up until we packed up our last few items post-reception, she made planning a wedding painless (I should note that we live in Los Angeles, and never had the opportunity to visit the venue until 8-weeks before our wedding day!)
She was exceptionally responsive, brought our cute ideas to life, and was just so darn genuine. Her attentiveness to making sure we had enough advance notice about a car fire that happened the morning of, helping us with a mic at the last minute, and personally escorting our crew up to the ceremony site - she was a rockstar through it all.
Just about each idea we threw at her, and asked if this is something we could do - she always said “yeah, we can do that!” And if there was ever an idea that couldn’t be accommodated - she provided a viable & creative alternative.
In addition to Claire, Matt (the jack of all trades) was so kind to our parents a few days prior, to show them around. The food and beverage staff could not have done a better job. They killed it with the taco bar, and even brought to life, the most amazing s’mores bar (in place of a traditional cake).
I could go on longer - but I’m certain I’ve hit my maximum.

We booked the venue solely online without ever seeing it as we live in London, UK. Claire arranged everything for us. From day 1 Claire was with us all the way and made our day truly special with zero stress on us. Below are just a few of the multitude of things that were arranged for us that made our day special.

2. Helped us pick our photographer Shaunte Dittmar who was exceptional
3. Arranged our wedding celebrant Paul Beran who was magnificent

5. Wedding cake for us which was sublime.
6. Recommended excellent accommodation
7. Had photo shoot locations picked out at the venue for us which we loved.

The entire team was amazing!! Every single detail was taken care of. The food was delicious, the staff was professional yet incredibly friendly, the location is perfection. There is not one thing I would change. Working with Claire was effortless even with my unending questions and changes. It truly made my daughter's dream wedding a reality.

I could not have imagined a more perfect place for such a perfect day! Sierra-at-Tahoe was amazing to work with and the food was delicious!We had the whole place to ourselves and the mountain vibe topped it all off for us. I highly recommend this venue for anyone wanting to get married in the Tahoe area.

Sierra-at-Tahoe as a venue and as a team are spot on! The flexibility to make the space your own given the nature of landscape is perfect. So much space and so many opportunities to build and design exactly what you've been dreaming of for years.
The food is great, accessibility/parking is extremely easy, and you get the entire resort to yourself.

Everything about our wedding day was perfect. Sierra accommodated all of our needs and they were flexible with any changes leading up to the day. Having our wedding at Sierra far exceeded our expectations. It truly is a magical place in the mountains!

Beautiful ceremony site, great reception venue. Staff is extraordinarily friendly and very accommodating. Our guests were having so much fun we extended the reception by 2 hours with no issues.
