Lisa is top notch when it comes to make up artistry an spray tans. My sister hired her for her wedding back in 2021 and I knew from the moment I sat in her chair that she would be doing my wedding day make up as well. Her talents are clear by the results of her work and the energy she brings make you feel so special and beautiful. She has gotten to know all of my sisters and mom now and is our go to for all make up and spray tan needs, she is like family! I cannot recommend Lisa enough for your big event make up needs!

I hired Lisa because she did the makeup for my best friend's wedding. Everyone looked so beautiful and natural. Which is precisely what I wanted for my own wedding look. I loved my trial with her and the wedding day of makeup looked beautiful as well. Lisa was very flexible, super responsive, and made any changes requested both in scheduling/adding girls. I also worked with Lisa's hair team. I loved my trial with Jessica, but unfortunately a family emergency prevented Jessica from being with us on the wedding day. However, Lisa stayed up till 3 in the morning trying to find a replacement that night. Which meant a great deal. While we weren't able to find someone that last minute, Ewa, the other stylist, did a great job on my hair. I loved how it turned out. I am very thankful to Lisa and the team for making it all work and creating beautiful looks for myself and my family/bridesmaids!

I cannot say enough great things about Lisa! I was fortunate enough to not only hire her for my wedding but my engagement photos and shower as well! I felt so comfortable having her do my makeup. She listened to my needs and suggested what would look best on me. I am not a big makeup wearer so this was a big deal for me! Each time she created a different look for me. Having Lisa be a part of my wedding day was amazing. She is so much fun and got along so well with my girls/ moms. Lisa really knows what she is doing. I don't think I could say enough nice things about Shimmer & Pout! Lisa did make-up and Jessica did hair for myself and my bridesmaids, and it was absolutely perfect.

From my first interaction with Lisa at the makeup trial, she was a pleasure to work with. I don't have a lot of makeup knowledge, so I was a little confused about what to ask. But hearing me say "light, natural, sweet" was all Lisa needed to give me an amazing trial. She talked with me the whole time, offered suggestions, and took my comments to improve aspects of the makeup so seriously.

On the wedding day, she made all of us look so beautiful. My girls and I are all Indian, and we've had trouble getting makeup done at previous weddings, but Lisa color-matched our foundation so perfectly, everyone's eye-makeup was incredible, and everyone was happy with how they looked (which has never happened!).

Jessica was also an incredible pleasure to work with. None of us did a trial with her, and we all came with different hair textures, lengths, types, and thicknesses, but she made every single one of us look beautiful. She even offered suggestions to make our vision look better. We were all so so happy with how our hair looked the whole day - humidity and all :)

Both of these women did such a great job, and the hair and makeup lasted all night. I would recommend them a thousand times :)

Lisa did makeup for myself and my bridal party on my wedding day and I could not be any more satisfied with the work she did. She was amazing at giving the girls what they wanted, or just doing what looked awesome for those that didn't really have a clue of what they wanted done (like me) haha. Despite not really knowing what I wanted, Lisa made me look and feel BEAUTIFUL. Jessica was in charge of hair for us on wedding day and she also ROCKED IT. I had no idea what I wanted done going in to the day, but found a picture on Pinterest last minute, and she made my hair look EXACTLY, if not better, than the picture I showed her. All the girls were extremely satisfied by both of the ladies work. I would definitely hire these two again. Thanks ladies!

Lisa was wonderful to work with. She was understanding and flexible, especially with changes in wedding dates due to the pandemic. I loved my makeup and so did my bridesmaids. We received many compliments. I would recommend Lisa to any bride in need of a makeup artist!

Jessica and Lisa did hair and makeup for my mom, grandma, aunt, two sisters, and I. They were very professional and everything looked perfect. We all loved our hair and makeup (and trust me, my family is very picky :)). My 83 year old grandma could not stop smiling and looking into the mirror. They made the whole experience fun! They showed up on time, set up quickly, their services were reasonably priced. Airbrush makeup and lashes were included (those are usually extra with other makeup artists). I wish we lived in Chicago and could use their services more often! 💯

We booked Shimmer & Pout for our wedding make up and hair. Lisa did my and my wedding party's make up and Jessica did our hair. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful, they were so fun to work with, and they were so patient with our little flower girl who loved playing with all her makeup sponges while her mom was getting makeup done 😂 I live in a different state, and with COVID we weren't able to travel in for wedding planning, so we went in blind with no trials, but they both did an incredible job. Lisa is AMAZING! I loved my makeup so much on my wedding day. She made me feel so beautiful. I wanted a more natural look and Lisa gave me exactly what I wanted. She is so professional and talented at what she does! I would recommend her to anyone! I told a few girls that are getting married about using her! Lisa not only does makeup but spray tans too and she gives you a discount when it's your "wedding season" All in all if you don't use Lisa you will regret it!
