I hired Lisa because she did the makeup for my best friend's wedding. Everyone looked so beautiful and natural. Which is precisely what I wanted for my own wedding look. I loved my trial with her and the wedding day of makeup looked beautiful as well. Lisa was very flexible, super responsive, and made any changes requested both in scheduling/adding girls. I also worked with Lisa's hair team. I loved my trial with Jessica, but unfortunately a family emergency prevented Jessica from being with us on the wedding day. However, Lisa stayed up till 3 in the morning trying to find a replacement that night. Which meant a great deal. While we weren't able to find someone that last minute, Ewa, the other stylist, did a great job on my hair. I loved how it turned out. I am very thankful to Lisa and the team for making it all work and creating beautiful looks for myself and my family/bridesmaids! -

I cannot say enough great things about Lisa! I was fortunate enough to not only hire her for my wedding but my engagement photos and shower as well! I felt so comfortable having her do my makeup. She listened to my needs and suggested what would look best on me. I am not a big makeup wearer so this was a big deal for me! Each time she created a different look for me. Having Lisa be a part of my wedding day was amazing. She is so much fun and got along so well with my girls/ moms. Lisa really knows what she is doing. I would highly suggest her to any bride who needs a fun makeup artist! -

I don't think I could say enough nice things about Shimmer & Pout! Lisa did make-up and Jessica did hair for myself and my bridesmaids, and it was absolutely perfect.
From my first interaction with Lisa at the makeup trial, she was a pleasure to work with. I don't have a lot of makeup knowledge, so I was a little confused about what to ask. But hearing me say "light, natural, sweet" was all Lisa needed to give me an amazing trial. She talked with me the whole time, offered suggestions, and took my comments to improve aspects of the makeup so seriously.
On the wedding day, she made all of us look so beautiful. My girls and I are all Indian, and we've had trouble getting makeup done at previous weddings, but Lisa color-matched our foundation so perfectly, everyone's eye-makeup was incredible, and everyone was happy with how they looked (which has never happened!).
Jessica was also an incredible pleasure to work with. None of us did a trial with her, and we all came with different hair textures, lengths, types, and thicknesses, but she made every single one of us look beautiful. She even offered suggestions to make our vision look better. We were all so so happy with how our hair looked the whole day - humidity and all :)
Both of these women did such a great job, and the hair and makeup lasted all night. I would recommend them a thousand times :)

Amazing Experience!
Lisa was wonderful to work with. She was understanding and flexible, especially with changes in wedding dates due to the pandemic. I loved my makeup and so did my bridesmaids. We received many compliments. I would recommend Lisa to any bride in need of a makeup artist! -

Lisa was awesome!! She travelled to my house to do makeup for myself, mother, and maid of honor. She made us all look so beautiful and worked with them to figure out exactly what they wanted. Loved my look! -

Nothing but a great experience!
Lisa was absolutely amazing! She created the perfect look on my wedding day, and it was even better than my trial! Her prices were fair, and this was the only makeup vendor I was able to find that did not charge travel fees to come to the venue. I highly recommend! -

Look no further if you need a make-up artist. Lisa is the best of the best. She did a FANTASTIC job with my bridesmaids and I the morning of my wedding. She was extremely efficient and professional with her work. Everyone's make-up stayed on all day and night despite some tears. She definitely won over my whole family and bridal party (especially my particular mother, which says A LOT!) Wouldn't trust anyone else to do my make-up! -

Lisa is so talented! booked her for first my bridal shower and then my reception. Both looks were amazing but what stuck out to me was that she remembered what I liked for both events, even buying specific lashes for me on the wedding which looked beautiful. Very personable and professional. -

I LOVE LOVE LOVE working with Lisa! I booked Lisa’s makeup services in January 2018. Our wedding was held on March 8th, 2019. I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Lisa and her company. In addition, she also did my makeup for my engagement photos which I had used as my “trial time”.
I live out of state. For me, great communication was something I expected from my hired vendors since I could not see most of them in person. Lisa surpassed all of those expectations. Anytime I had a question or concern – she was very prompt at responding back to me! In addition, Lisa has been very professional since day one! It definitely helped calm my nerves about the upcoming wedding day.
Lisa has a true talent of taking your vision and bringing it to life. All of my bridesmaids had different skin types and ideas of how they wanted their makeup to look. Lisa made all of my bridal party and myself feel beautiful for the day. She really wants to make sure that all of her clients are satisfied with their makeup. She really strives for the best.
Throughout my wedding day, people kept coming to me to let me know how much they adored the makeup look I was wearing.
Book Lisa! You won’t regret it. She is my go-to makeup person now whenever I have an event in Illinois to attend! Thanks again Lisa for everything and making me feel beautiful on my wedding day! -

She is a true professional with an amazing eye, reliable, professional and amazing to be around with. Makes you feel comfortable and listens to to her client which is so important. She has done my makeup several times and I have always loved it. You won't be dissapointed and have I mentioned reasonably priced. My to go to makeup girl for all occasions!!!❤❤❤❤
