Loved everything about having my reception here. Great prices, great fun, and an awesome time for my guest! Definitely suggest!

I got married at Shephard's Beach Resort on the beach with a reception following in the Wave Club (65 guests). Sharyn Prell (catering manager) was excellent to work with. Things went very smoothly and our guests all LOVED the food and venue. It was everything we had hoped for and more.

There are many reasons why I would not recommend Shephards for a wedding. The catering director also is your wedding coordinator. First, our ceremony was on the beach. Shephards was supposed to block off a section of the beach for the ceremony. They did not so I have a bunch of strangers in the pictures. Also, my photographer asked to move the arch and they would not do it. The wedding coordinator was rushing us because she had to leave. She was highly unprofessional. I was highly displeased with her. However, I was highly pleased with the serving staff especially Greg. They did an excellent job. According to the guests, the food was good and the price per person was $50.00 (which was affordable). I would never recommend this facility to anyone. I was very displeased. Also, I called after the wedding and talked to a Manager, he was not at all concerned about how the function went. Customer Service is not one of Shephards' strong traits.
