In the planning process Shantel was organized and efficient with excellent and clear communication. We really felt like she knew what we wanted and what photos we needed.

Day-of couldn't have run more perfectly. Shantel and her assistant arrived during the getting ready process as planning to capture some photos there and were with us through the rest of the day. Shantel stayed calm and on schedule during the craziness of family photos and captured our day perfectly. The Seattle Aquarium was a bit difficult to shoot both due to the glass of tanks as well as a very sunny day outside during our pier shoot. Shantel handled this perfectly and adjusted as needed. She also helped us move our timeline around to capture the golden light best and helped us remember to grab some out door at-night shots as well.

The images we have received so far are nothing short of stunning and we cannot believe we get to cherish them forever. Do yourself a favor in your planning process, hire Shantel and know you are in good hands!

I don’t even know where to start on how AMAZING Shantel Wall is. She was the wedding hero I didn't know I needed!

From the very call we had with Shantel, my then-fiance and I really loved working with Shantel.
She was super accommodating and totally game for any kind of adventure photography we wanted to get “THE SHOT.”


Also, she was super willing to work with us given that we planned our entire wedding just a few months before it happened since our original wedding ceremony/reception in Texas was cancelled due to COVID. As part of a custom-package, Shantel agreed to do an engagement photoshoot in Rainier National Park. Despite needing to reschedule the shoot several times, Shantel was able to accommodate us.

On the day of the shoot we had a fantastic time, trudging through the snow and she gave us several pointers on how to pose to get the look we wanted. She was super creative in positioning us so that even though there were tourists, hikers, and climbers all around us, you wouldn’t even guess they were there! 



A few days before the wedding, Shantel updated us to let us know that the passage to the bottom of the waterfall at Snoqualmie had opened up and that the path was kind of clear save for a few muddy spots. We agreed to go ahead and do our First Look photos at the bottom of the waterfall. 

On the day of the wedding, Shantel was super communicative despite the chaos that was underway. Our videographer was also with us and she invited him to ride in her car to get to the trail that led to the bottom of the waterfall.

Once we arrived, we began our hike down and began hitting a few muddy spots. Shantel led us through the path pointing out all the muddy spots and guiding us through so we didn’t get dirty. 
At the last muddy spot, every brides worst nightmare came true - I fell in the mud.

Shantel helped me up, and as my husband asked some onlookers for some wet wipes, she quickly assessed the damage and began helping me wipe down my dress. After the mud incident, we kept trudging through fallen logs, slippery rocks, and more mud, with Shantel helping us along the entire way.
And despite falling in mud, Shantel got THE SHOT with a beautiful rainbow reflecting from the waterfall. The photos honestly don’t even look real, but I know they are because I was there! 

After getting the photos at the waterfall and we trudged back to her car, Shantel kept running in front of us and behind to get more shots, always working to get more photos.
She kept reassuring me that everything was fine and that “they can’t start the wedding without you,” which was a huge help despite how stressed out I was.

Even after nearly falling in mud a second time and getting my hand completely drenched in mud, Shantel instructed me to wipe my muddy hand on her pants so I didn’t cause any more harm to my dress.
Like I said before, she was the wedding day hero I didn’t know I needed. 



After racing back to Salish Lodge, getting my dress cleaned up, and showing up to my wedding ceremony an hour and 40 minutes late, I finally got married and Shantel was able to get all of the shots we wanted. She got photos with our families and friends and even super last minute requests from the in-laws. 



Shantel stayed with us almost 2 hours over the originally planned time. And she was so awesome about everything. Seriously. Shantel was the most amazing photographer and we were so lucky to have her with us on our big day.

We planned everything in under two weeks and not only did she just-so-happen to be available, but was so responsive and so fun and easy to work with! & The photos turned out amazing! Shantel was amazing from the first phone call! I could tell we were going to get along because she was very personable and easy to talk to! Shantel is such an amazing person and so willing to do whatever you need!! She was able to wrangle my crazy family and was brave enough to take over the mic when we things went not as planned. Shantel was amazing!! Always kind, flexible, and quick to respond! With all of the changes around COVID, Shantel was do accommodating. We both love horses and I loved how she wanted to incorporate that! Weddings are known to be hectic and sometimes overwhelming. Shantel brought a happy, calming presence as she worked!

Shantel was our guardian angel of photographers! She has been more than flexible with us despite what felt like thousands of changes we made while getting married in 2020. She never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her with the changes and adapted within moments (even when it meant jumping out of her car and helping push ours when it broke down on the way to the wedding!) She supported us when we moved to a backyard wedding that followed all safety regulations and graciously allowed us to spilt our hours to next summer when we hopefully can have a reception with extended family.

Along with being an incredible person, she has SO much talent being a photographer. She edited unwanted things like signs and cars out of our photos and made us feel so comfortable despite being camera shy! She has such a great sense of style when it comes to editing and taking photos.

What a fabulous photographer Shantel was for our last-minute elopement! Thank you for driving so far and putting up with our harebrained ideas for oddball photography ops, including a lake beach overtaken by a bazillion tiny frogs and an off-season ski resort chair lift. Our budget wasn’t big, so she let us hire her for one hour of photos, making it much more affordable for us.

We LOVE our photos, and I am usually quite picky about photos. We typically only get a couple good photos from photographers, but the vast majority of hers were absolutely everything we wanted! She is not only a high-quality photographer, she is affordable and her temperament is super fun, yet also relaxed and patient. We can’t recommend her more! Wonderful photographer! Use her, you won’t regret it!💗
