It all began when my Mema taught me how to plait at the age of 4.
By the age of 7, I taught myself how to cornrow. This continued to be my hobby; I started to braid my little cousins hair, relax my granny's hair and braid my mother's hair also. Book her well in advance because her schedule fills up quickly. We did three make up trials and she was very patient and truly desired for me as well as my bridesmaids to look their absolute best, but assured me I was her top priority since it was *my* day!
