We originally did not want a videographer and I am so glad we changed our minds. We already received our sneak peak and we are so happy with it, they really captured our day. Brad and Imani were great to work with and we cannot wait to see the rest!

Brad (and Shaking Hands) was amazing to work with. He was super responsive to all of our emails, and gladly changed around our package to be exactly what we are hoping for, even when it was just a week before our wedding. He also was willing to extend his hours of work for our wedding, and even stayed over in the area because we had him stay at our wedding until the end. He was always so happy and glad to do all of this. Our wedding video turned out INCREDIBLY. It is absolutely perfect. So well put together--he mixes all the different scenes from the wedding day beautifully, and really provides a perfect snapshot of the day. It's also so nice that we got a trailer from our wedding, and he actually included different scenes in that than in the final video, so we can watch both and not feel like we're watching the same things. Truly love our video. Highly recommend booking him! He's amazing!

Wonderful work and wonderful to work with. Brad and his team were fantastic-- we talked ahead of time about our interests for the video, and they really took our personal tastes into account. On the big day they said a big hello and were such pros we honestly weren't aware of them for the rest of the day! They got amazing footage, including clips of ceremony music that really mattered to us, and their editing and music choices for the trailer and video were spot on. The trailer still makes me tear up every time I watch it, a year later! We did the Super 8 option and also got raw footage which was a fun bonus.

We could not be happier with our decision to work with Brad at Shaking Hands to capture our special day! Ahead of our wedding, Brad was great to work with and met us at our venue in Washington DC to get acquainted with the space. He was extremely responsive to all of our questions and very flexible with his approach to meet our needs. On the wedding day itself, Brad and his colleague Kelly were incredibly unobtrusive and allowed us to fully soak in every moment, while somehow always being there to capture everything that was going on.

Our video was delivered to us on schedule, and we were thrilled with the final product! Our wedding video came out spectacularly, and it really captured the feeling of the day in such a special and personal way that highlighted the words, the people, the moments, and the emotions of the day. We couldn't have asked for a better team on our wedding day -- and we're so thrilled to be able to relive it through our amazing video!

I was going back and forth on if I needed a videographer or not for our wedding...but after working with Brad & even meeting with SHP via phone I KNEW I wanted them to document our day & I haven't regretted it whatsoever. Brad was beyond professional and responsive. He was also the nicest guy ever to work with!!! On wedding day it was so amazing because I truly felt like the SHP team wasn't even there yet I know they captured everything!!!! I haven't even received my teaser and full video yet because my wedding was last weekend, but I had such a great experience with this great crew. Cannot recommend Brad and Shaking Hands highly enough. Their work speaks for itself, so I'll just add that they are absolutely incredible to work with, so friendly and make you feel comfortable the entire day. While I was getting ready, I decided to do a last minute review of my vows (which we had decided to memorize) and Brad was awesome, stepping in to quiz me/prompt me. Then during the ceremony and reception it was like they put on invisibility costumes, because I know they were there and capturing it all, but I swear I never once saw them-- they disappeared! I think that's a big part of what sets Shaking Hands apart is that they capture it all, but without being so front and center that your guests don't see it all. We absolutely adored Brad and his team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer.

Shaking Hands came highly recommended by my wedding planner. I was disappointed when I learned that Brad was already booked for my wedding date, but he offered to send a few of his associates and to edit the film himself. My wedding planner still urged me to use Shaking Hands with this arrangement and I am so glad I did. They were incredibly helpful and easy to work with leading up to the big day. I hadn't thought much of what to do with the videographers the day of the wedding, but when they showed up they were extremely professional and told me not to worry about anything. They jumped right into the swing of things capturing our special moments but most of the time I forgot they were there! The finished product is absolutely incredible. I am so glad I decided to hire a videographer. I know I will cherish what Shaking Hands created for me for the rest of my life.

We just received our wedding trailer and wedding video back and both are amazing! From scenes selected, speeches captured, music selection, and just general editing/style, we are so impressed and happy that we went with Shaking Hands Productions. Brad is fantastic and easy to work with and is extremely professional. He cares about his craft, and it shows! We now have our beautiful memories captured on video, and we will be forever grateful!

Honestly, we were originally not planning on having a videographer for our wedding, for budgetary reasons. However, both sets of our parents were quite adamant in saying that we would regret it, and boy are we thankful we listened to them. Our wedding planner helped narrow down our options, and my wife gave me the task of choosing a vendor. In a similar way that my wife was extremely selective in choosing our photographer, I was very particular with how I thought our wedding video should turn out. Out of the list that we were given, I could not help but go to Shaking Hands' website over and over again. Everything from the incorporation of sound and voice-overs, vantage points, transitions, details, use of the vintage super8 film, was spot on, and you knew that you would get a high quality product. On the day of our wedding, Brad and Austin were both very polite and professional. They were not at all invasive and blended effortlessly into the background. This however, did not affect their ability to make our film spectacular. When we received the wedding trailer, we were floored by how much of our day was captured in just under three minutes without having it feel crammed, and we were highly impressed with how they compiled everything. In fact, guests of ours showed off our trailer to others, and claimed that the viewers cried tears of joy, despite not having attended our wedding. This fueled even more excitement for the full-length movie. By the time we received the full-length film, we were overjoyed to re-live our biggest day so far, and we cannot keep track of how many times we have shared it with family and friends. Brad and Austin did a superb job piecing together and summarizing our big day into a short movie that has kept us and our audiences engaged and wanting more. Shaking Hands is an incredibly talented film making team. They truly crafted a masterpiece that we can reflect on for many years to come.
