  Love our video!

  We originally did not want a videographer and I am so glad we changed our minds. We already received our sneak peak and we are so happy with it, they really captured our day. Brad and Imani were great to work with and we cannot wait to see the rest!

  Brad (and Shaking Hands) was amazing to work with. He was super responsive to all of our emails, and gladly changed around our package to be exactly what we are hoping for, even when it was just a week before our wedding. He also was willing to extend his hours of work for our wedding, and even stayed over in the area because we had him stay at our wedding until the end. He was always so happy and glad to do all of this. Our wedding video turned out INCREDIBLY. It is absolutely perfect. So well put together--he mixes all the different scenes from the wedding day beautifully, and really provides a perfect snapshot of the day. It's also so nice that we got a trailer from our wedding, and he actually included different scenes in that than in the final video, so we can watch both and not feel like we're watching the same things. Truly love our video. Highly recommend booking him! He's amazing!

  Brad (and Shaking Hands) was amazing to work with.   I was going back and forth on if I needed a videographer or not for our wedding...but after working with Brad & even meeting with SHP via phone I KNEW I wanted them to document our day & I haven't regretted it whatsoever. Brad was beyond professional and responsive. He was also the nicest guy ever to work with!!! On wedding day it was so amazing because I truly felt like the SHP team wasn't even there yet I know they captured everything!!!! I haven't even received my teaser and full video yet because my wedding was last weekend, but I had such a great experience with this great crew. Can't wait to see the full video they provide and I KNOW it will be amazing!!! Thank you, SHP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Cannot recommend Brad and Shaking Hands highly enough. Their work speaks for itself, so I'll just add that they are absolutely incredible to work with, so friendly and make you feel comfortable the entire day. While I was getting ready, I decided to do a last minute review of my vows (which we had decided to memorize) and Brad was awesome, stepping in to quiz me/prompt me. Then during the ceremony and reception it was like they put on invisibility costumes, because I know they were there and capturing it all, but I swear I never once saw them-- they disappeared! I think that's a big part of what sets Shaking Hands apart is that they capture it all, but without being so front and center that your guests don't see it all. We absolutely adored Brad and his team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer.

  Wonderful work and wonderful to work with. Brad and his team were fantastic-- we talked ahead of time about our interests for the video, and they really took our personal tastes into account. On the big day they said a big hello and were such pros we honestly weren't aware of them for the rest of the day! They got amazing footage, including clips of ceremony music that really mattered to us, and their editing and music choices for the trailer and video were spot on. The trailer still makes me tear up every time I watch it, a year later! We did the Super 8 option and also got raw footage which was a fun bonus.

  Shaking Hands came highly recommended by my wedding planner. I was disappointed when I learned that Brad was already booked for my wedding date, but he offered to send a few of his associates and to edit the film himself. My wedding planner still urged me to use Shaking Hands with this arrangement and I am so glad I did. They were incredibly helpful and easy to work with leading up to the big day. I hadn't thought much of what to do with the videographers the day of the wedding, but when they showed up they were extremely professional and told me not to worry about anything. They jumped right into the swing of things capturing our special moments but most of the time I forgot they were there! The finished product is absolutely incredible. I am so glad I decided to hire a videographer. I know I will cherish what Shaking Hands created for me for the rest of my life.

  We just received our wedding trailer and wedding video back and both are amazing! From scenes selected, speeches captured, music selection, and just general editing/style, we are so impressed and happy that we went with Shaking Hands Productions. Brad is fantastic and easy to work with and is extremely professional. He cares about his craft, and it shows! We now have our beautiful memories captured on video, and we will be forever grateful!

  Honestly, we were originally not planning on having a videographer for our wedding, for budgetary reasons. However, both sets of our parents were quite adamant in saying that we would regret it, and boy are we thankful we listened to them. Our wedding planner helped narrow down our options, and my wife gave me the task of choosing a vendor. In a similar way that my wife was extremely selective in choosing our photographer, I was very particular with how I thought our wedding video should turn out. Out of the list that we were given, I could not help but go to Shaking Hands' website over and over again. Everything from the incorporation of sound and voice-overs, vantage points, transitions, details, use of the vintage super8 film, was spot on, and you knew that you would get a high quality product. On the day of our wedding, Brad and Austin were both very polite and professional. They were not at all invasive and blended effortlessly into the background. This however, did not affect their ability to make our film spectacular. When we received the wedding trailer, we were floored by how much of our day was captured in just under three minutes without having it feel crammed, and we were highly impressed with how they compiled everything. In fact, guests of ours showed off our trailer to others, and claimed that the viewers cried tears of joy, despite not having attended our wedding. This fueled even more excitement for the full-length movie. By the time we received the full-length film, we were overjoyed to re-live our biggest day so far, and we cannot keep track of how many times we have shared it with family and friends. Brad and Austin did a superb job piecing together and summarizing our big day into a short movie that has kept us and our audiences engaged and wanting more. Shaking Hands is an incredibly talented film making team. They truly crafted a masterpiece that we can reflect on for many years to come.

  Brad and crew did an amazing job capturing our wedding. This is such a perfect way to remember a day that goes by in such a flash! I highly recommend using Shaking Hands. Brad is so easy to work with and highly profession.

  Brad has a talent and passion for his craft, it certainly shines through his work. My wife and I were very pleased with the final product. The day of the wedding, he and the extra cameraman made sure to catch all the important moments. They were very easy to work with and didn't get in anyone's way. This was huge considering other vendors didn't understand the space needed between the bride/groom on the wedding day. Not having to worry about additional stressors was relieving. It was very special to us that the emphasis of what was captured wasn't just on us, but our family and friends as well. Watching our wedding film was like another chance to experience our wedding day again and see all the fun our family and friends were having while we were enjoying our first moments as a married couple. We left the music up to him and it turned out perfect. Definitely a worthy investment as this will be something my wife and I will always be able to look back on.

  Brad and his team at shaking hands productions are wonderful and I would absolutely recommend them to any bride. Prior to the wedding they were extremely collaborative and ensured they knew exactly what we were looking for. On the wedding day Brad was invisible in the best possible way - I didn't even know he was there and he captured everything that we would ever want. My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the final product - the production quality is amazing and his style is top notch. We are so excited to share it with our friends and family. You can not go wrong with this one!

However, with Shaking Hands - you hardly notice them at work - yet they captured everything and more.

  My husband and I were beyond impressed with Brad from start to finish. He is extremely professional and beyond that just a joy to work with! I am honestly surprised at the post below because Brad was extremely clear on all wedding details. My husband is a finical advisor who wants facts and I am unfortunately a type A perfectionist at times so we expected and received all the facts up front- ie. start & end time. Brad spent time with us explaining his process and delivered on his word! After our initial talk with brad we found he has packages by the hour so we developed a plan based on our clear discussions. If we had questions on the process he was happy to help us gain a better understanding. On the day of the wedding, Brad was a calming presence. Our wedding in Richmond at St. Stephens followed by a reception at the Commonwealth Club was magical. My husband has made my life a fairy tale and our fairy tale was 100 % captured by Brad in our video and for that we are very thankful!

  My wedding video is commercial worthy. These guys could easily be in major picture. I still cannot believe their timing and creativity. This is not your mothers wedding video...They offer several affordable packages that let you chose how you'd like to watch your wedding in the future. It was 110% worth every penny. Brad Bennet is the NICEST guy, brought a great team and went above and bound at summarizing my LONG wedding day :)

We decided at the last minute to get a videographer--I had seen too many corny, poorly produced wedding videos, and it really wasn't a priority for our budget to get something that we would later cringe while watching (I've also watched too many videographers take over the ceremony). Seeing Brad's videos changed my mind about the value and quality that a wedding video can be. We love the end product! Brad was very responsive to our requests--I hired him four days before our wedding and he was wonderful at stepping in and capturing what we had asked. He was unobtrusive during our preparation, the ceremony and the reception, and the video is amazing. My husband swore he would never watch it, but after seeing the 3 minute preview, we couldn't wait to see the whole thing. Brad captured the joy of our day beautifully, and I'm so glad we selected him to document our wedding.

My husband swore he would never watch it, but after seeing the 3 minute preview, we couldn't wait to see the whole thing.   Brad of Shaking Hands Production was perfect! When I initially booked him, he walked me through all the aspects of videography/cinematography to make my wedding day perfect. He's laid back, funny, and worked well with my photographer. I've seen almost all of his samples and wedding video highlights and I can't wait to see him. He was definitely worth the investment!

  There are not enough beautiful words in the dictionary to describe the quality of Brad's work. I just received my trailer from him yesterday and I have looked at it no less than 50 times. I am absolutely blown away by his gift of transforming weddings into something even more extraordinary than they seemed that day. Almost everyone that has viewed the trailer was left teary-eyed. I spent a lot of time looking for the right cinematographer and my search took me (via the internet) to FL, GA, PA, NY, DC, MD, and VA. My friends would describe me as extremely particular and hard to please. I could not be more thrilled with my selection of Brad. All brides put a lot of trust in the cinematographer and photographer because that's all you have left after your special day is over. Brad was definitely deserving of my trust and even more.
  
  From the very moment I inquired about his services through the web form I knew that I would have a positive experience with him. He responded to me within hours with a quote and a very professional proposal. Everytime I reached out to him he responded just as swiftly and professionally. This was so helpful in planning a wedding with a lot of moving parts.
  
  Now let's talk about his offerings. He was a great value for the quality of his product. He has package pricing with a la carte offerings so you only get what you need. My wedding was in DC and even with paying for his travel and accommodations, he was still much more affordable than the 2 leading cinematographers in DC that I was considering. Plus I was able to get 2 cinematographers within my budget.
  
  Next up…flexibility. As I mentioned before I am very particular and have strong opinions about what I want. Brad was very easy to work with in this regard, was open to my suggestions, and found ways to make me happy within what he knew would work best artistically. That is what I would call Brad, not a videographer but a cinematic artist/genius.
  
  Now to his creativity… I really wanted a non-traditional wedding video. I wanted it to be very unique, dramatic, and stand out from anything I'd ever seen. Brad definitely delivered because many of my friends have said the trailer is the coolest thing they've ever seen and it left them anticipating the full length version. How many wedding videos have you seen that bored you to pieces? This will be far from one of those. I mean it's like you're watching a movie in a fabulous theater.
  
  Last strength was invisibility. By that I mean he and his colleague captured beautiful moments without ever interrupting the moments. Many people never even knew we had someone shooting the wedding because he was that skilled at remaining in the background.
  
  I could go on and on about Brad's talent and personality but I will just say that choosing him to capture your special day will be one of the best decisions you could ever make. I can say with no hesitation that it was one of the best decisions I made. I wish Brad nothing but the most success possible because the quality of his work is truly first class.

Simply put, choosing Brad (owner of Shaking Hands Productions) to record and describe our wedding day was one of the very best decisions my husband and I made throughout our entire planning process.
  
  In terms of quality and detail, Brad captured our every special moment with enlivened, beautiful clarity. Our wedding was full of do-it-yourself projects, and Brad's professional style infused each tiny detail with dreamy romance - his refreshing artistic approach only enhanced the special elements of our wedding, never distracting from them. We opted for some super 8 footage to be included, and we love the incomparable vintage, nostalgic quality it gave to our video! Our video accurately describes the most treasured, definitive moments of our wedding day in four compact chapters that flow naturally and are easy to watch. This is key, since I would be quite happy to spend the rest of my days cuddled up on the couch and watching this video (with a glass of bubbly in hand, of course).
  
  Now for the practical stuff: with regards to professionalism and communication, we were truly impressed by Brad's consistently swift correspondence. Brad's company was the only vendor we hired from out-of-state, and he was certainly one of the most considerate and dependable. Our emails and phone calls were always returned within 24 hours, and any justifiably manic bride knows how much appreciated that sort of punctuality is! Brad worked patiently with us as we sent him countless examples of what we liked in wedding videos, and 'matched' the descriptions and ideas we sent him with specific examples from his own portfolio. We knew we were in good hands when we saw the time and effort he had gone to in order to assure us that our vision would be fully realized! He worked hard to ease the planning process and was a very knowledgeable and experienced resource to turn to for wedding help and advice. On the wedding day itself, he was discreet and very cooperative while still capturing every detail.

  I love my wedding trailer and full wedding video that was done by Shaking Hands Productions so much. I can't even count how many times I've watched both videos. When I watch them, I feel all the emotions I felt that day and watching them over and over again make me so happy. When I watched the videos, I didn't even realize some of those shots were taken. The editing and songs were perfect. When I watch the videos, I just can't believe it's my wedding that I'm watching. The final video and wedding trailer totally exceeded my expectations and I am so happy Shaking Hands captured one of the most important and happiest days of my life.

  Brad Bennett and his team were always so responsive whenever I called or emailed. The team member who shot our wedding footage was incredibly professional and was able to film without being intrusive. The final edited dvd was BEAUTIFUL and even included a song that my maid of honor included in the reception slideshow. I would recommend Shaking Hands Productions to any bride!

  Shaking Hands Productions did a fantastic job filming my wedding! Every aspect of the day was captured thoroughly and creatively. You hardly realize he's there, but the final product will show that he was in all the right places at the right times! Very professional and affordable as well.   They were professional,insightful,generous,patient and completely bought into our vision of the day and made it our own.We definately didnt want conventional so they totally adapted to us and what we wanted, and looking at their archive of footage, this is their forte.
  No boring,static,typical and obvious wedding video..of course unless thats what you want! But every wedding and couple are unique and they ensure that they represent your love and events individuality.
