My daughter wanted to wear a vintage dress for her wedding. This shop was so easy to work with. My daughter wanted to add a corset back to help the dress fit better. It turned out beautifully. They also suggested repairing the bustle. They are very professional and do quality work. I highly recommend.

Ms. Vongie and Bailey worked absolute MAGIC with my gown! They worked so diligently to make my dress perfect and they SUCCEEDED!

My bodice was 4+ sizes too large, and Bailey worked actual witchcraft - the lace bodice was fully deconstructed and reconstructed, and you CANNOT tell that the bodice was EVER any other size.

They added sleeves, brought up the hemline EIGHT INCHES (short girl problems lmao), and constructed a bustle that made my train secure and draped beautifully.

I truly couldn't have asked for a better alterations team, and I will come back for every dress alteration I need in the future!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Mrs. V and the entire Sew More Couture team! I bought a wedding dress from a bridal shop in the Columbia area, and although I loved it as is, it still wasn't exactly what I wanted. The dress was strapless and the back of the dress came up about halfway up my back. I had a vision of a dress with long sleeves and with a low back - I didn't really know if it would be possible, but I decided to contact Mrs V to see what she thought. From the first time we spoke, I immediately felt confident that she and her team would be able to make my dream dress a reality - which was no small feat whatsoever. They worked with me every step of the way to make sure that I was feeling confident before they made any changes that could not be reverted back. They were welcoming of my ideas and even allowed me to get more involved in the process of determining where the lace was going to go once we added the sleeves. My dress was everything I dreamed, and it fit me like a glove. I received so many compliments on it and I'm still obsessed with it. Sew More Couture was amazing! Ms. V did an amazing job tailoring my wedding dress. It fit me perfectly! Her and her team made a custom belt to go with the dress to cover the seam that was showing across the front of the dress. Ms. V and her staff were very warm and accommodating. I highly recommend their services!

Ms. V did an incredible job with alterations on my wedding dress and my (now) husband's suit! My dress was way too big when I took it in but she made adjustments until it fit perfectly. She even added an internal belt to hold up the heavy bottom of the dress and make me feel more comfortable. She was always responsive and kind. She even worked in my husband at the last minute to tailor his suit to his liking. Her pricing is fair and you can absolutely trust Ms. V to have you looking good on your big day!
