We had the absolute best experience working with Set Free Photography for our November 2024 wedding! The moment we saw Stacy's Instagram (@setfreephotography) we knew that we wanted to work with her -- we LOVED the light, sunny, romantic vibe that comes across in her work and how well she captures each unique personality. From our initial kick-off call all the way to the wedding day, we had the best time working with her. Beyond being just incredibly talented, she is funny to boot and so kind. There were countless times throughout the day where I would somehow trip on my veil or accidentally loosen a bobby pin and Stacy would notice and help me out in a flash.

Stacy is amazing. As a former wedding photographer, I know how difficult it can be to capture the entire wedding day. I was blown away but the little details and candid moments Stacy and her team photographed. The images from my wedding day are exactly what I wanted - it's hard to take everything in on that day, but these images help me do that. I consider the photos a gift because it reflects the small moments that meant so much to me that day. I would definitely recommend Stacy - not just for a wedding, but for any special moment you'd like to remember. I've already began referring her to family and friends. Hiring an incredible wedding photographer was one of the most important things to me. At the end of the day the only tangible memory you have of your wedding day are your photos. It’s lifetime memory that can be shared with generations to come. After seeing Stacy’s work we immediately fell in love. It’s light and airy, crisp images, soft tones its simply timeless. Stacy was extremely helpful from the very beginning, she is such a genuine and kind person we are so blessed to have had her as our wedding photographer. Stacy was hands down one of my very favorite vendors we hired. I had already selected a photographer who I thought I'd be signing with to photograph our wedding, however I decided to do some last minute searching. When Hunter Ryan photo recommended Set Free Photography to me I was HOOKED from the moment I saw her gallery online. Stacy's style was exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately after booking for April 2020, we had to postpone thanks to coronavirus. Stacy was so kind, understanding, and flexible throughout the postponement process. She even texted me on our original wedding date to tell me it had rained all day in Florida (we're out of towners). That text meant so much to me!

Being a professional event planner myself I can be a bit of a control freak, but I had 110% confidence in Stacy and her work. I love how direct and clear she is in telling you and the groom & bridal party exactly how to pose for the best photo outcome. And she's so could at encouraging you during the process and making you feel beautiful & confident.

We've already received our sneak peek photos back and have received so many compliments, I can't wait to see the final results. Stacy is the best of the best in SWFL and I'd highly recommend her for your wedding photography!

I truly don’t even know where to begin other than that Stacy is an absolute DREAM to work with! She was highly recommended by our coordinator at the Hyatt and in the first five minutes of our first meeting with her over the phone, we knew we needed to work with her! Being the first vendor we hired, Stacy was so helpful in recommending other vendors and answering any questions we had since we were planning from a distance. She truly goes above and beyond! She helped us to feel so relaxed in front of the camera, which didn’t exactly feel natural the first time we shot with her for engagement photos. We were in awe watching her work, always following the golden, glowy light - which makes for the most gorgeous, magical photos. Stacy was always so on top of communicating, worked seamlessly with our other vendors and had a plan in place for us to avoid some family drama the day of. After the wedding, she followed up to let us know what to expect in terms of timing, which she was always so ahead of! Our “sneak peek” was stunning and we didn’t know how the rest of our photos could top it… but they did!! Now we have no idea how we’re ever going to choose which to frame for our home! Everything from the photos themselves to a handwritten thank you and custom USB drive we were sent after the wedding were perfect. If we had to do it all over again, moving forward working with Stacy would again be the first thing we would do! We can’t wait for our paths to cross again!

She is warm, welcoming, makes everyone involved feel welcome and has the best and most creative ideas. From the start Stacy and I hit it off. She was so understanding about what my fiance and I wanted and the vision of our photos. I made a point to follow Stacy on Instagram and really am grateful I did because I was able to convey what we were looking for and she knocked every bit out of the park. She is fairly priced and the quality is even better. Stacy felt like she was part of our big crazy Italian/Irish Family. Picking a wedding photographer was one of our easiest decisions. When we saw Stacy‘s work we knew we had to have her. Now I will say, we did look at others. Her work was always our number one choice, but didn’t want to get our hopes up that she might be booked. We put in about three different inquiries with multiple photographers. Hands-down, she had the best responses. From day one our interactions with her were above and beyond.

I can’t stress enough how much we appreciated her caring personality from the first interaction. There was never a doubt in my mind through out the process. I knew from the first second that we were in good hands with Stacy.

One of the hardest parts about a destination wedding was that we didn’t really get to meet her much before our engagement pictures. Well, I did meet with her but my fiancé didn’t. When I met up with her for coffee and to get to know her before our engagement pictures, it felt like I already knew her. Since I was on a solo trip, my fiancé didn’t get to attend that meet up. Although my meeting with her was brief, I got a sense of reassurance that we made the right decision by hiring her.

We really should’ve known from the get-go that our wedding wasn’t going to go as planned. Our engagement pictures were the start of that, because we were battling storms the whole time we were down there for our pictures. I think I got ready twice, maybe even three times. Even with the chaos of moving around our time, when we got there you wouldn’t know there was any stress. Stacy arrived with such a calm nature. This put us at such ease.

Seriously, go with your gut when hiring your photographer.

They are such a big part of your day, listen to your gut on your first few interactions. I mean this whole heartedly. Another photographer we reached out to didn’t give us warm, fuzzy feelings. We listened to our gut and went with Stacy, because she did give us those feelings.

On to the important part, our wedding day was kind of insane. We had to move everything inside that day. Not one ounce of our wedding was planned to be inside. I am not exaggerating when I say that our wedding turned out to be absolutely beautiful even as Plan B. When Stacy walked in, she knew exactly what to do to make everything work for pictures. I was lucky to have family who did everything she asked them to do. Within minutes, our day became the best possible situation.

I was able to feel a sense of relief as Stacy moved around patio furniture with our families. All to make us happy.

When I say Stacy does whatever it takes I am not joking. At just about every point, I turn the corner to see her touching up details to get the best shots. Thinking back on this still makes me wanna cry. She is an absolutely incredible photographer, and an even more amazing person.

Stacy and Brandon did an absolutely amazing job photographing our wedding!! The photos are all absolutely stunning! They were able to capture the little details of the day so perfectly that looking through them brings back all of the excitement of our wedding day!
