When planning our destination wedding in Florida we knew that hiring a great photographer was a priority for us. We knew the day would pass quickly and that having wonderful pictures to memorialize our wedding would be something we would cherish forever & that was very important to us.

We chose her services for 5 hours with 2 photographers, in order to capture all the special moments happening with us and around us. It worked out really well and we have 900 beautiful pics to tell the story of our wedding!! We absolutely love ALL of them!! Tonya spent a great deal of time selecting the best photos to present to us and even took the time to make minor photo enhancements, so the final result was just… WOW!!
Also, we met with Tonya for an engagement session a couple of months prior to our wedding so we could get to know her. This was a good move as it allowed us to become comfortable with Tonya & her style and vice versa. We think this made a significant difference in how our wedding pics turned out. I highly suggest you take the opportunity to have a quick 30 minute session prior to your wedding (with whomever you choose to use). We got to know Tonya and got some great pics in the process!

In addition, Tonya was very helpful and willing to make suggestions and provide recommendations that made planning from out-of-town so much easier. She provided great stylists & make-up recommendations that we took and helped us with our venue selection. And let me tell you, Tonya is well known and highly regarded in the SW FL wedding community - everyone we met was very complementary of her work, which made us feel like we definitely made the best choice in going with Tonya and her team.

Tonya and Michael were incredible. Leading up to it we had calls where Tonya was so patient understanding our families and friends and the dynamics to make sure she got all of the shots that were really important to us. We had a welcome reception that night before and she generously agreed to be there for that even though that is a Saturday so it could be a big wedding day. On our wedding day she was on time, professional, recommended shots, was just so wonderful and the quality of her work in the end was TRULY AMAZING. I was blown away. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer or better pictures. We are SO grateful. I was too orange from a spray tan and Tonya made the pictures less orange. If you’re considering her vs another photographer, I promise you, if you choose her you will be so glad you did!

Tonya was a joy to work with throughout the entire process; from discussing ideas before the wedding, working through the rain, and editing all of the raindrops out of the final photos! We had a wonderful experience with Tonya! From the first moment of contact, to the wedding day, to the delivery of the photos ... everything went as planned -- and then some! Our wedding was held outside near the beach and while we had a beautiful, sunny day, the wind presented a challenge. Tonya handled the situation with wonderful professionalism. She knew just what to do -- catching issues before they arose, weighing down my dress with small weights (which were expertly "removed" from the photos), etc. She took all the required shots we requested (various family members and groupings) and captured key moments. Tonya also was attentive to the light, shadows and various backgrounds. I appreciated the way Tonya asked specific questions about the style/type of photos we preferred and how she prepared us with specific requests for still photos (shoes, invitation, etc.).
