Bit of a mixed review. For someone in DC, this place is a haul to get to but I'm willing to make the trek out there to get a massage from Ingrid. She's wonderful. Sometimes hard to get into see her but she always leaves me relaxed and with fewer knots. I even got my husband (then fiance) hooked on Ingrid. Definitely a must for both of us in those last few weeks before the wedding.

I utilized Sesen's services for several facial treatments prior to our wedding. These were fabulous as well. The technician had my skin looking radiant for weeks.

I also had a body polish and bronzer applied the week before our wedding. The body polish was unusual - not bad, but unusual. It was not like the scrubs at most places. A product was applied all over which had some sort of gentle exfoliating component. The skin was rubbed (basically rubbing off what had been exfoliated) and then the bronzer applied. The result of the exfoliation was not as dramatic as a scrub (i.e. not quiet baby smooth) but close. I later regretted the bronzer application as it was streaky in several places (especially on my arms and legs), and didn't really deliver that slight, warm glow I was hoping for. I spent that week before my wedding trying to scrub it off or at least even it out. This could be a result of the product they used in combination with how it was applied. In hindsight, I wouldn't do this again.

I will definitely utilize this spa for massages and facials - both services are top notch.
