It was the BEST DAMN decision we ever made. Arlene Barba and her team were on top of everything, and it made the last month leading up to my wedding more fun than stressful! She called all the vendors, and created an amazing day of schedule. She was so professional and organized, I really could not have asked for anything more. Initially, we were just looking for a DJ and had been recommended by friends to check out Sound Fusion who they had used for a graduation party. My erroneous perception was " anybody can do a wedding, I don't need any help". Sound Fusion is the other half of Arlene's business - she and her fabulous husband, Stephon, are both DJ's. But Arlene is also a wedding planner/coordinator and that is Semper Fi Events. My daughter and I initially met with Arlene to consider her for DJ services but it became quite apparent talking with her about the wedding that "hmm, maybe I do need/want someone to help me out"? BEST decision I ever made! We had an instant connection with Arlene and she was 100% why my daughter's wedding turned out to be the dream wedding that she hoped for. Arlene's vast years of experience and resources helped guide us through the entire process. She listened to our wants and needs and made it all happen. Her energy and passion make her an exceptional person to work with and she has become a friend. Moms, if you want to enjoy your daughter's big day, I highly recommend using a coordinator/planner and I highly recommend Arlene. She will take the reigns at the end and you can rest assured that everything will be taken care of for you. Relax and enjoy the wedding!
