From humble beginnings in the early 1960s, the Sedona Cedars Resort, originally known as the Cedar Motel, has seen a lot of growth and expansion not only on the resort grounds, but also in the city of Sedona, AZ. This has been a family owned and operated hotel since 1982.

We specialize in smaller, intimate weddings and are a one-stop shop. Our amazing team will make your dreams a reality, so you can enjoy your special day free of worry. There are 38 rooms available to accommodate your wedding party and guests, as well as a beautiful bridal suite with a gorgeous view of the Red Rocks. Couldn’t have been better

We couldn’t have had a better wedding day. The venue was perfect for our intimate wedding with family. Alicia was AMAZING through the entire planning process. She was so sweet and helpful whenever I needed anything. They even gave us a deal for the venue sense we only needed it for a couple hours.

The view was spectacular from the rooms and they also gave me a welcome basket when we arrived with lots of goodies. It was perfect to be able to have our family stay there and then just walk over for the ceremony. My new husband and I will definitely be back for our anniversaries. I couldn’t ask for a better place to be married!!!

Such a wonderful place to stay!

The staff and owners were extremely friendly and pleasant. The views of the resort were incredible. Would definitely stay here again :)

Gorgeous Wedding Venue and Resort

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to have our wedding! The employees and owners were some of the most accommodating and friendly staff we have ever encountered. Everything went smooth and they made it easy to just have what we needed to save us time and money setting up and not renting equipment and other necessities with an outside vendor. I highly recommend the Cedars Resort for not only Wedding Venue options but also for a vacation stay at their beautiful location next to Oak Creek. You can see the creek from your private balcony in your room and hear the relaxing sound of the water running through right next to the grounds. Our wedding could not have been more perfect! Thank you so much Cedars Resort!

We love Cedars!!

The views are outstanding. The garden area is an ideal location for a small to mid sized ceremony. All the staff at Cedars are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and have outstanding views.

Cedars Resort lived up to our expectations!

My husband and I had a wedding at Cedars Resort in June 2021. Despite the pandemic accompanied the venue preparation for the wedding, everything went very smoothly. Cedar's team was incredibly engaged, excited and dedicated to make our wedding day special for us. We'll forever be grateful for everything Alicia and her co-workers did for us. The view of the venue and centrality of the location created the unforgettable experience for us and our guests! Thank you

Beautiful venue for our beautiful day

Everything from beginning to end was just perfect. They heard our needs and helped in relieving the stress that comes with wedding planning. Chairs, tables, arch, games, DJ, and a photographer all from one source. I recommend booking the the room right by the venue. Easy changing and personal belongings in reach. Stunning & Magical

Sedona Cedars Resort is such a beautiful venue! Alicia & Becca are wonderful people and they made my wedding dreams come true! Our day was everything we hoped it would be and it wouldn't have been possible without their help. They gave us such peace of mind and answered all our silly questions and were just positive rays of sunshine in this stressful stage of life! The venue itself was perfect for our day. We had just over 30 guests and there was plenty of space, lots of room to socialize, dance, and eat during the reception. And needless to say, the view of Snoopy Rock was the most beautiful backdrop to our ceremony. I couldn't recommend this place and the staff more, and definitely will to anyone I know looking for a venue!

Amazing garden for a small wedding!

Alica, Alex and the staff at Sedona Cedars Resorts were very helpful in my planning the weekend at Sedona Cedars including our ceremony in the beautiful garden with the stunning view!! The cost was much less than neighboring places by far ( for stay of 10 rooms and ceremony) It is a quaint older property that is family owned and we weren’t lost amongst the masses of tourists! Located in a great spot that was an easy walk to shop, eat and visit. My wedding was stunning and they took care of all table, chairs and arch set up! They even made sure to have a nice selection of 10 rooms for family that stayed. The family enjoyed the property as well and that’s our place of choice now! I love Sedona Cedars! They also gifted me with an awesome shirt to wear on my honeymoon!! ❤️ Thank you Sedona Cedars Resort!

Felt like working with Family

After visiting Sedona Cedars Resort and meeting Alicia for the first time. We knew we had found our wedding venue, we love that it is family owned and the location was perfect right up against Oak Creek With amazing views! Their wedding packages are priced perfectly with many options to fit your needs/wants.

Alicia was very responsive in answering my questions, pre Covid shut down, during and after. She put all my worries at ease.

Our wedding was last week, 9-16-2020, everything was perfect. Felt like I was working with family.
