We had my daughter’s wedding at Oaks on the River Resort and the experience was Perfect! From the staff to the food and service everyone went out of their way to make us and our guest feel like family. The size of the resort was perfect for an all inclusive wedding. We had the bridal luncheon on the enclosed dock area, the bride and groom went to the spa for massages, cocktail hour under the century old oak then reception in the ballroom with picturesque views of the marsh . Carli the sales manager went above and beyond to make our vision come true. Chef Chris and his team did an amazing job with the food and topped it off with the desserts and cake . The team as a whole from Jenny to Barish, the waitstaff and bartenders were so helpful and made us and our guests feel welcome and at home . This is a gem !

We, along with all of our guests, had the most incredible experience at the Westin Savannah. Throughout the entire wedding weekend, we were blown away by the hospitality of the entire staff—from the front desk team to Aqua Star, the Midnight Sun Lounge bar, and especially those who worked our rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and reception. A special shoutout to Valencia, who was so sweet and attentive to us both nights! Even a year later, our guests are still raving about the hotel and, most of all, the food! We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve heard people talk about the crab cakes and shrimp and grits—it’s become a running joke at this point! Amanda was an absolute dream to work with. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly reassuring throughout the planning process. She answered every question with care, advocated for us every step of the way, and went above and beyond to ensure our vision came to life—including pulling off some truly special surprises for us as a couple, our families, and our bridal party. Thanks to her and the entire Westin team, we had the most perfect rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and wedding reception. She and her team were also incredibly accommodating when it came to coordinating the guest rooms and our room block. Nearly our entire guest list stayed at the Westin, which made the whole weekend feel even more special. Having everyone in one place was amazing, and the Midnight Sun Lounge became our unofficial meet-up spot throughout the weekend outside of the wedding festivities—it was the perfect setting to relax and spend extra time with our loved ones. One of the most impressive aspects of our experience was how seamlessly the Westin team worked with our entire vendor team and day-of coordinator. Everything ran incredibly smoothly and on time both nights, allowing us to truly enjoy the moment without any stress. Their professionalism and attention to detail made all the difference in creating a flawless, unforgettable wedding weekend. Looking back a year later, we still believe choosing the Westin for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. The team made all of our dreams come true, and we already can’t wait to return for future visits to Savannah and the Westin!

Our wedding day was an absolutely dream! The entire wedding planning process was so easy and organized thanks to Jaime! As a wedding planner, I am very detail oriented and knew what I wanted for my wedding day, and Jaime made it happen! She worked flawlessly with my vendor team to ensure our day was great! I also need to give a shout out to the kitchen staff and chef! At our food tasting, we enjoyed everything they brought out, it was hard to pick what we wanted for our day! Also, a lot of the time at weddings, you see that the food doesn’t always turn out as good the day of the wedding as it was during the tasting. That was not the case here! Every single person at my wedding told us how amazing their food was and how awesome all the appetizers were! I have so many other amazing things to say about this venue and their staff! So so grateful for Jaime and her team! I will definitely recommend The Andaz to my couples in the future!

I had the privilege of helping plan and coordinate a wedding this past weekend at Hotel Tybee. It was the perfect venue! Jazmin was so much help along the way and on the day of the wedding! I look forward to more weddings at this venue!

The Desoto was hands down the best venue in town. They were very accommodating through COVID, professional, friendly, and took the stress of the wedding off my hands by being all-inclusive with the services provided. We chose the Harborview Ballroom on the 15th floor, and the views were breathtaking! The drinks were amazing...and the food was drool-worthy. All of my guests said this was the best wedding they've ever attended and I couldn't agree more!

This hotel was unlike any other Embassy Suites I have ever seen. Our family had an incredible time. I can't tell you how important their staff made me and my mom feel from when we walked in until we were leaving the parking garage three days later. The food was incredible and the venue was great for our 230 guests. Justin (the head banquet guy) was there more than we were I think, and so helpful. My husband and I already talked about staying there again when we come back to Savannah.

We cannot put into words just how glad we are that we chose Forrest Pond Lodge as our wedding venue. The amount of care, attentiveness, and love that Patty and Thomas pour into the venue and their newly weds is absolutely unmatched. Our wedding was on a Saturday and Hurricane Helene had made its way through the region on Thursday night. Friday morning, we left our powerless house and made our way to the venue. We weren’t sure what challenges we’d be facing due to the hurricane, and arrived to find that Patty and Thomas had already been working on the property for HOURS with a team of helpers. The venue was without power and water due to the storm, but Patty and Thomas made sure the property was SPOTLESS. From our photos, you never would have been able to tell that there had been a hurricane in the days before! As we navigated several vendor challenges due to complications from the storm, Patty was in contact with everyone throughout the weekend and kept us updated to the best of her ability. So much was out of our control, but Patty and Thomas had our back through every hurdle. They poured blood, sweat, and I’m guessing a few tears, into trying to make sure our wedding was as close to everything we could have dreamed of. Amidst our candle-lit rehearsal dinner Friday night, the power and water was restored at the venue!! Seeing the lights all come on during our bridesmaids versus groomsmen “Friends” style trivia game, was a moment we will never forget. I’m honestly not sure who was more excited — us or Patty! The beauty of Forrest Pond Lodge is something even the best photographs (courtesy of Steph Powell Creative) can’t fully capture. We received countless compliments from our guests about how gorgeous the property was. One of the best things about FPL though, is the ability to rent the property for the whole weekend and provide accommodations for your wedding party. For us, the fact that we had access to the venue for the entire weekend was absolutely ESSENTIAL to making our wedding day happen. Our wedding weekend seemed to throw curve ball after curve ball, but we can honestly say that Patty and Thomas were one of the few dependable constants. We had prepared ourselves for things to go wrong during our wedding weekend, but absolutely nothing in my extensively planned wedding guide could have prepared us for all the challenges of this hurricane. You don’t have control over what will go wrong when it comes to your wedding, but you do have control over who you choose to face those challenges with — and there is nobody we would recommend more than Patty and Thomas.
