Chef Nick and his team were INCREDIBLE!! Loved his flexibility and creativity to make the entire menu personal and a reflection of my husband and I. All of our favorites: braised short rib, cheese grits, risotto, and fried cheese curd for one of the appetizers ( my husbands from Wisconsin::), etc. He even made my Yias Yias Greek Salad recipe! Can’t begin to tell you how many compliments we had on how amazing the food was! All of our guest said it was literally the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! HIGHEST recommendation!!

Dawn McDermitt, the event coordinator really helped me keep my sanity throughout the planning process. There was a slight mixup with my napkin colors, but not a single guest noticed. The food was awesome and I received so many compliments. A few local guests even asked to take a to go plate, which they allowed.

We chose Savannah Botanical Gardens for our wedding ceremony venue. The garden is really beautiful all on it's own so we didn't need to spend much on décor. They provided us with the chairs and chair covers for our ceremony and there were tables and linens also available for our use. They even provided flower petals for my flower girl. We got ready on site in the historic home that is on the property which was really convenient. My contact at the garden was Betty and she was so kind and very helpful and prompt in responding to any questions I had. The garden staff made sure the garden was in tip top shape for our ceremony and event set up the chairs for us. Between the beauty of the venue and saving on rentals and décor, the garden is an incredible value. I would highly recommend the Savannah Botanical Garden.

This venue is a little bit unconventional, but it has some great reasons to consider it. Room Features: *2'x6' tables included with Venue rental (aka Groupshelter) *Chairs provided, seats 150 I think *Full kitchen (with serving counter & out back is a full BBQ & oyster roasting oven, provided 2 more additional cooking surfaces) * has walk out deck in rear to over look marsh *when you walk around the building it has crushed oysters all over the ground which gives it such a natural feel *Huge fireplace *Single stall Mens & Womens bathroom, was very clean, however you do have to walk outside to get to (was under cover though) Park features: *Camping (cabins, tents, & RV avl) *Does have a parking fee, but $5.00 per car not per person like most state parks *Huge park with close to 10 miles of hiking available *awesome little nature center with a museum, reptile exhibit, area information, bird watching , great for kids of all ages! *Amphitheater is being used as our ceremony place *Gorgeous huge oak tree with tons of Spanish moss overhanging, makes a cozy romantic feel *rustic seating (we have to add more, but worth it still) *was not any extra cost to reserve, just told the park manager & she reserved it for us all day! Not really advertised anywhere b/c it's a state park, but totally fits our wedding.

The White Gardens were beautiful manicured and chairs were placed perfectly for our Wedding ceremony. The ballrooms were clean and ready, with all the tables set up for our event! Kahlitah Greene and Alex Dease worked tirelessly to help our event timeline go smoothly. We had an amazing and unforgettable event!
