Like many others we made the decision to reschedule our 2020 wedding to 2021. We selected Sarah as our photographer in 2019 and she was incredibly flexible, responsive and sooo easy to work with over those long two years.
Sarah was there to support us every step of the way. Sarah's professionalism, positive attitude and kindness were evident from the moment we first met her through the day of the wedding.
So many friends and family (during and after the wedding) told us how much they absolutely LOVED Sarah.

If I could give Sarah a 10 star review I’d do it in a heartbeat! Where do I begin...From the initial contacting of Sarah, the promptness of her responses from the first inquiry and our many email exchanges, the ease of both parties signing the contract all done within a very short time. I contacted Sarah 2 weeks prior to our wedding and all this was professionally handled in that short time frame. Including our photo shoot! I had never met Sarah nor did I have anyone suggest her to me. I needed a photographer in Wheaton at the Courthouse, I read her reviews and I trusted her from the first email correspondence.
Sarah was promptly at the parking lot to meet us in her white and black checkered jacket just as she described! She calmed my nerves when I realized I’d forgotten my driver’s license and took photos from the time we walked across the parking lot into the building, getting signed in, while we waited for our number to be called, during the ceremony and in several locations outside. Her eye for settings was great! She is charming, funny and has a knack for posing you so you’ll look great all while singing and doing whatever it takes to make you laugh! The pictures I’ve seen are ones she took with my phone and sent me that very same day are MORE than I could have asked for. I can’t wait to see her finished work. Thank you so much Sarah for being there with us and capturing our day!

I love Sarah's photography style and bright, but not too bright, photos. She has a really great eye for shots and knows how to have a fun time while getting everything you want done. Great value for money and she's flexible - just have a chat with her!

My fiance and I are not good in front of the camera. Kinda awkward and not super into PDA but Sarah is the pro and pulled the lovey dovey side out of us. Photos were so easy and smooth with her. She managed a large family, lots of voices, kids and babies. Photos look beautiful and we got them back quickly but Sarah goes beyond the duties of a typical photographer. She pinned up my loose bang in place and helped me load up the car with bouquets and does it all with the biggest smile on her face. I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture my wedding day.

Sarah and Sam photographed our wedding in Chicago in December. I know choosing a photographer is crazy difficult, with so many possible people to choose from. I'll make it easy for you, just hire Sarah now.

Why? She nails the perfect balance between being very professional so that you know that you can absolutely trust her and rely on her. She was a top notch professional throughout. But then also she's an amazingly friendly and warm person. You need both, she delivers. Sam was working alongside her at our event and was also faultless.

You are only planning to get married once. Getting the right photographer is critical to the success of your day. Do not try to 'save money', or 'use a friend'. Go for Sarah and relax knowing that I have proof she delivers. We got 2000+ superb professional photographs that I have on my hard drive and will have forever, along with a print release letter from Sarah allowing me to print at will. I honestly could not have asked for more. Many equally expensive photographers will not give you all this! Sarah does.

Sarah and her husband, Sam, are absolutely wonderful people to work with! They captured our big day in the most perfect ways! They made us feel so comfortable and helped when disaster struck when my flowers weren’t there on time! Sarah was calm and easily put together some things for my husbands boutonnière that turned out looking better than our real flowers once we received them! I absolutely love our pictures and constantly receive compliments from my family on them. Couldn’t recommend Sarah more!!! Upgrading our package was the best decision we made!

Sarah is the absolute best. We had the pleasure to work with Sarah for our engagement shoot and our wedding. She made our entire engagement and wedding experience so fun, enjoyable, and comfortable. Sarah ended up not only being our photographer, but an amazing friend to us throughout the entire process. Our wedding would not have been the same without Sarah and the unforgettable memories she captured that we will cherish forever. It is hard to begin to explain how absolutely, truly, and positively WONDERFUL it is to work with Sarah!

I had known Sarah as an acquaintance for a few years from college. Since being invited to it, I have always loved her posts on her Sarah Crost photography page. Once my husband and I had gotten engaged, I knew immediately that I wanted to hire her for our engagement and wedding photos. Specifically, I wanted to book her because she really has a talent of catching small and big moments in photos. We knew we didn’t want all only posed photos so we knew Sarah was our girl. My husband and I officially booked with Sarah in January 2018 for our March 8th, 2019 wedding. We booked her Documentary package which included an engagement session, 2 photographers, 10 hours of photography cover, photo album, and photo release.

From the get go, Sarah has always been incredibly professional. She is prompt in responding to questions and is incredibly easy to work with. My husband and I live out of state. For us, communication with our vendors was an expectation since we did not have the opportunity to set up many meetings (if any at all). She understood that planning a wedding out of state was stressful and really went out of her way to ensure all of our questions were answered. This alone really helped ease the nerves as the big day was approaching! Also, to add to the professionalism piece, she is very punctual. She was early to arrive to both of our engagement sessions and scheduled arrival time for the wedding. We never had an issue with her being late!

On the day of the wedding, she brought Meg Adamik as her assistant photographer. Sarah and Meg were the dream team! They both were extremely talented and definitely had the process down of where to be and when for pictures. With them, I did not have to worry about anything! Their bubbly, fun personalities were contagious and everyone in the bridal party loved having them around!

At one point during the day, we had an issue with our videographer cancelling within a couple hours of our ceremony. While we were able to get a backup plan sorted out with a new videographer, I MUST compliment Sarah and Meg. While I was in a slight panic trying to take in that our videographer was not coming, Sarah and Meg were trying to come up with a game plan of how to possibly get the ceremony recorded on their cameras. We ended up not needing to use that game plan but the fact that they had even *considered* to go above and beyond like that was comforting. It really does demonstrate how much Sarah and Meg really care about their clients and their wedding days running smoothly!

My husband and I received our wedding photos about a month after our wedding. We were blown away by the work of Sarah and Meg. All these beautiful little and big moments of our day were captured and we could not begin to say enough how much we loved them!

Sarah was a truly amazing photographer and all of our pictures turned out beautifully. What you really get when you book her is someone who will ensure that you have the best day ever. She is a ray of sunshine and made both me, my husband, and everyone in the wedding party so comfortable all day. She will check in on you and make sure that you're taken care of at all points of the big day as well as the planning leading up. Sarah is organized, professional, reasonable in pricing, and produces stunning results. Her husband was our second photographer and he was also so great. Sarah photographed my older sister's engagement and wedding, and I absolutely loved the gorgeous pictures she captured, as well as her fantastic and bubbly personality. When it came time to choose a photographer for my wedding, I did a little research, but I pretty much knew that I wanted her to be our photographer! We are about a year from being married, but we recently had our engagement pictures done. The session was fantastic. My fiance and I don't typically like taking photos because we feel awkward, but she helped us let loose and have a blast during the session! Both came away saying "wow, we actually had a fantastic time." She is a joy to work with!! I am a student in law school at the moment - and just as an example of how above and beyond Sarah goes, she texted me and asked if I had any papers or tests the next day. After I said I had a small assignment and asked why, she told me the pictures were ready and asked if I wanted to wait to have them till the following day so I wouldn't get distracted from my school work! I laughed so hard, and said yes we should probably wait:) That just shows how she truly cares about us as people, and is so encouraging and wonderful! I got my assignment done, and we now have the photos ;) They are absolutely STUNNING. My fiance and I did not have many great pictures together (mostly selfies), but now we have SO MANY amazing ones! I have been obsessing over the photos for basically 10 hours now and I still can't get over them. I can't wait for the wedding and to work with Sarah again! Book her, you will be so glad you did!
