When we decided to get married in Todos Santos, we started looking for planners and Marissa came highly recommended by our dream venue. From the moment we met her, we knew she was the one. She matched our energy perfectly and made us feel like our dreams could actually become reality.
Marissa took the time to truly understand our priorities and showed us around to multiple venues and accommodations for our guests, giving us a complete lay of the land. Throughout the planning process, her responsiveness was incredible—I could text or call, and she'd get back to me so quickly. Whenever worries crept in, she had this amazing ability to calm them. She managed all the relationships and communications with our vendors so seamlessly that we really didn't have to lift a finger.
On the wedding day itself, Marissa's calm energy kept everything flowing beautifully. What started as a vision board turned into the most magical weekend with our friends and family—beyond anything we could have expected. Her organization and attention to detail were impeccable, and she was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish.

I cannot recommend working with Marissa enough. She is everything you could dream of in a wedding planner AND THEN SOME. I found Marissa after booking a venue tour guide with her once my fiance and I decided we wanted to get married in Todos Santos. She showed us a variety of venues both in size, cost and formality so I really could understand all my options. While the venue may have still been up in the air, working with Marissa was a no brainer. (which was also great because she applied the cost of our tour to our wedding fee) She has a very approachable, calm, grounding energy - which is reflected in her team and the vendors that she works with - at no point during the wedding planning process did I feel stressed or frantic energy from her or any of our vendors. (even when I was late on deadlines and not as responsive on my emails....sorry marissa!) She is the epitome of good energy/people attracting good energy/people and you can tell the venues and vendors that work with her are genuinely happy to work with her and want to provide the best service they can. She also lives in the Pescadero area but is from the states so that comes in handy for managing any language or cultural barriers on either side. She knows how things run in Mexico and can communicate it for you and to you (and to your parents lol)

Yes she planned a beautiful wedding, stayed incredibly organized, will advocate for you, was responsive, responsible, able to problem solve on the fly and anticipate hiccups so that the day of the wedding ran smoothly, and recommended EXCELLENT vendors (highly recommend her content contacts!).

But my FAVORITE thing about Marissa is that she never made me feel bad. I know that sounds silly because no bride should feel bad from their wedding planner. But the sad truth is some planners can be judgmental especially when it comes to spend. Not ONCE did I feel awkward or embarrassed asking Marissa to find a less expensive option when I started to get overwhelmed with wedding prices. She always met my requests to cut costs with realistic and creative alternatives so I felt like I really knew what I was paying for and what I was choosing to forego without feeling like I was being cheap. She also negotiated with vendors when I needed it, or told me when something was a good price and I should feel good about a quote. And if you change your mind or something comes up last minute she doesn't shut you down or get frustrated with last minute swaps - she knows those things are inevitable and handles those changes with grace. She is honest, humble, free of judgment and genuinely just wants to help you however she can which creates a wonderful level of trust.

That comes to my last point. YES she can help you create your DREAM wedding if you are one of those Type A brides that has always dreamt of her wedding her whole life- she will make those details come to life. But just as importantly she can help you discover WHAT your dream wedding is for all of my TYPE B BRIDES out there that never dreamt of their wedding and feel decision fatigue and overwhelm (me.). As an extremely ADD Type B bride I felt SO INCREDIBLY supported by Marissa, her organization and her recommendations throughout the whole process. Any Type B brides reading this, I hope you feel a sense of relief because you have found your wedding planner - it's Marissa.

Marissa is worth EVERY PENNY AND THEN SOME- which by the way she also is very reasonably priced in an already crazy priced industry, AND on top of that she donates a portion of her proceeds to local charity. Hiring Marissa was an no-brainer when we were interviewing wedding planners. We didn’t want to speak to anyone else after we met her! She was transparent and very approachable. She was super professional but also felt like an instant friend, which was exactly what we wanted: someone we could trust AND feel comfortable with, someone who would have our back and be honest with us, someone who made the planning process easier AND enjoyable! She knew exactly who to recommend for vendors and curated an absolute DREAM team. She kept us organized and on track making the planning process practically seamless! Out of all of the other weddings I’ve been in (8 total), I’ve seen how a good planner makes all the difference. I fully credit Marissa for making not just our wedding day but the entire weekend of events so effortless and heavenly in comparison. Even when there were hiccups along the road which were out of our control (I.e. a reception venue condemned a month out), she approached the situation with confidence and a calm demeanor making it simple for us to let go and trust her to work it all out. To say the least, she exceeded our expectations and made our wedding EVEN BETTER than we would have ever imagined despite her having to adjust the reception in just a couple weeks. We knew that we had nothing to worry or stress about with Marissa by our side. She went above and beyond for us and out of her way to make sure our wedding was magical. We never once doubted her vision. From the beginning, she had our whole hearts–and she held them with such tenderness. She is an angel, and we truly believe no one else could have done what she did for us. We adore her, and we miss her already!

While there are many planners in the Cabo and Todos Santos area, I can confidently say that none will pour as much heart, care, and personalized attention into your wedding as Marissa. I wholeheartedly recommend her; hiring Marissa is the best decision we made for the wedding.

Marissa and her assistant Meredith were incredible planners and we recommend them 100%. Marissa did an incredible job of creating our vision. They both had incredible patience for my ever changing thoughts and opinions. Marissa was responsive every time I had a question, she was detail oriented and extremely knowledgeable about the area, the venues, and the vendors she recommended were incredible. Marissa never said “no” to an idea and would help me shape it and ask questions I wouldn’t think to ask. Lastly, she was incredible versatile, we wanted a colorful wedding and she was able to see our vision, but I know she would be able to adapt to anybody’s vision.

Having been an event producer before, I went back & forth on whether we needed a full-service planner. But we have absolutely no regrets in hiring Marissa for our Todos Santos wedding. She did an incredible job and was so worth it! In the year leading up to the wedding, a lot was happening in our personal lives, and it was a godsend to have Marissa there to keep track of everything. She was fast, efficient, and super-communicative. From our first meeting, she got us right away. We wanted to be smart with our budget, still have a beautiful wedding, and also bring in the local vibes. Living in nearby Los Cerritos, Marissa gave us so many great recommendations that other planners didn’t know about and was able to chase vendors down in-person for us. She was always cool, calm, and collected, which is extremely helpful and grounding for a bride on a chaotic day 😌 In the end, we got the amazing wedding weekend we wanted and we couldn’t have done it without her.
