We truly have nothing but amazing things to say about Luba and her team. From the moment we met her she was professional, efficient, personable and just so much fun! We had started planning on our own for a few months before meeting her, but once we started working together she made the whole process feel much less intimidating. Luba worked incredibly hard to make the wedding planning as stress-free as possible and the day-of go as smoothly as it did.

There is no shortage of great things we can say, but we wanted to highlight the parts that we think made Luba and her team the perfect match for us.

1. Knowledge of the area’s wedding industry and vendors: After just a couple of conversations with Luba, we could have guessed that she has lived in the Los Cabos area and worked in the Cabo wedding space for a long time. We had found our venue (Acre Resort) and done some vendor research on our own but being unfamiliar with the area it was quite paralyzing. One of the first things Luba did was provide us a list of her recommended vendors in each major category. Knowing that she had worked with nearly all of them in the past already and hearing about her prior experiences with them gave us a lot of confidence. We ended up choosing completely from her vendor list and each person/company was just what we were looking for. What made it all even better was that she had worked with most of the vendors we chose many times before and already had great relationships with them. This not only helped in coordinating but made the planning and day-of an absolute blast! It really made the mood of the wedding day that much more fun to see everyone, not just our own friends and family, happy and enjoying their time together.

2. Budget sensitivity: At the start of our planning we made sure to be clear with Luba about our budget goals and the things that we wanted to prioritize (e.g. we cared a lot about photography/videography but not as much about florals). Throughout the whole process, we never felt like she was trying to push us to spend more than we needed or wanted to. On the contrary, she would actively compare prices for various things and make sure we were getting the best possible deal - from larger contracts to random decoration rentals. Luba helped us achieve our vision with the budget we had and never made us feel like we should be spending any more than we were comfortable with.

3. Communication: It seemed that the only thing that kept Luba from speaking with us 24/7 was our own concern about reaching out at odd hours. We stuck to emails towards the beginning of the planning process so that she wouldn’t feel pressured to answer immediately - even though she gave us her WhatsApp number in case we wanted to reach out. There were only maybe 1 or 2 times that we needed to follow up on an email we’d sent, but knowing how busy she is we didn’t mind at all. If it was truly an urgent matter, we were able to WhatsApp her and 100% of the time our question was answered almost immediately - even if it required her to reach out to someone else first. As it got closer to the wedding date, we were communicating by WhatsApp much more often and everything moved so efficiently.

4. Day-of organization: we are not exaggerating when we say there wasn’t a hiccup all day long on our wedding day. We followed the schedule that Luba created with our input and everything went according to plan. She had two assistants with her, Borja and Naomi, and given that they are also her children it made sense that they both shared Luba’s incredibly sweet personality and calm efficiency. On the wedding day, Borja ushered us through our schedule and we never once felt rushed or behind. Even if we did need to speed things up a little bit he was always smiling and spoke calmly. Many of our guests specifically noted they were impressed by how smoothly everything went. Naomi was also a joy to work with, and at the end of the night as we were wrapping up with Luba, both Borja and Naomi came over to say goodbye and share kind words with us.

5. A stress-free experience: Throughout the planning process, Luba let us know if we were behind or ahead of schedule and helped guide us through what elements to focus on next. She was always there to serve as a mediator with our vendors, and to help communicate our vision and resolve any issues that came up. It was incredibly comforting knowing that we had Luba on our side in case anything went wrong!

Overall, our experience with Luba and Unique Cabo Weddings was nothing short of fantastic. We honestly wish we could have just spent more time with them. Needless to say, we would highly recommend them!

Time for a review about my wedding planner, Luba from Unique Cabo Weddings 🤍 PLEASE read until the end if you’re looking for a wedding planner or are trying to do it yourself!

I originally tried planning our wedding ourself to save money; I’d booked a photographer, signed a venue contract, hired a makeup artist, and was attempting to do it all on my own. I became super overwhelmed, and I then interviewed a few planners. I liked that Luba charged one fee, I knew what the fee was, and there weren’t any up-charges based on number of events. She also has a wonderful personality and is super well-connected in Cabo, and I knew she’d be great.

Originally, our plan was to have our ceremony and cocktail hour on the Pelican 17 and then travel back to Garza Blanca for a reception on the rooftop.

We went to tour our venue in September, and Luba was a gem. She picked us up at our hotel, took us to our venue, scheduled a makeup trial for me (after I didn’t like the one I’d booked), took us to multiple spots for our potential welcome party, and got us on our boat, Pelican 17, for a tour. She hung out with us all day to make sure we felt comfortable with everything moving forward. While we were there, Luba attended our tasting at Garza with us and helped us experience what the event would feel like if we split it mid-evening. Based on her advice, we decided to do everything on the Pelican 17–WHICH COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. Truly the wedding of our dreams!

She got multiple quotes for each vendor and made sure every detail was just like my Pinterest board - at the best cost. She truly paid for herself in how much she saved us.

We had our wedding in April 2026. We kicked off the weekend with a catamaran tour (which I mostly organized, but Luba helped me confirm who was reputable and was there when things went wrong - long story, not attributable to her).

We then had a welcome party at Garza Blanca the night before the wedding in lieu of a rehearsal dinner. We had drinks, a DJ with a silent disco party, and some light decor (some we shipped to Luba directly and some we brought). She let us ship parasols, cups, napkins, and all kinds of stuff to her house in advance to save on packing hassle and fees. The entire event was PERFECT. Our guests had so much fun!

The next day, we had our wedding on the Pelican 17 with 70ish people. Luba handled every detail, and I never had to worry about a thing. It is no small feat to get 70 people to and from a boat, make sure decor is perfect, make sure service is perfect, and make sure the timeline goes off without a hitch. Yet Luba handled all of it—easily (or so it seemed to me)! It was truly the weekend of our dreams.

My biggest regret was not hiring Luba from the beginning. I can’t express how much we love her. If you need a wedding planner, HIRE LUBA NOW. You won’t regret it!!!! I wish we could hire her again!

Vendors:
-Hair: I brought someone from home and traded for travel. It was about the same price, and I got a trial at home. Once I met my room block requirements, I got two free basic rooms. I used one for her.
-Makeup: Makeup by Jeisa (she also did my trial in September and did my makeup for the welcome party)
-Photographer: Frank Tesisteco (Luba’s recommendation. Much better than the original photographer I hired then fired- lost my deposit on that one)
-Content Creator: I brought Brooke from @capturedcreative.co from the US and traded for travel. Brooke was WONDERFUL! I cannot recommend her enough. I’d never met her in person before, but we instantly clicked. She was such a kind person and was so helpful. Her videos are linked on my instagram here: @allisonbgriffin__
-DJ for Welcome Party: Mills James
-DJ for Wedding: DJ Franz Alva - I personally liked him better. He kept the vibe up the whole time and really cared about we wanted.
-Florist: La Floriesteria (exactly what I wanted and much cheaper than most quotes we received)
-Fourth Meal: Luba’s team :)

Luba also coordinated details with local vendors, including a large bow on the back of the boat, fireworks, a small cake for us to cut, the transportation to and from the boat, and McDonald’s fourth meal for our guests on the ride back to Garza! She made every detail happen.

There are not enough words to express what Luba meant to us during our wedding planning journey. Our wedding at Corazón Cabo’s Rooftop 360 in March 2026 was magical, and Luba was the reason why. For over a year, she stood by us with unwavering positivity, honesty, and the kind of attention to detail that only someone who truly cares can offer.

She went above and beyond in every way—managing timelines, coordinating vendors, driving us around Cabo during visits, and even holding and remitting deposits on our behalf because we trusted her that deeply. She treated our wedding as if it were her own family’s celebration. At times, she felt like a mother figure, at others a best friend, and always the most dedicated planner we could have hoped for.

Luba, her son Borja, and her entire team are extraordinary. If you are lucky enough to work with them, your wedding will be in the best hands imaginable. We recommend them with our whole hearts and now see them not as a wedding planner, but as an extension of our family.

In May of 2026 my husband and I had the best wedding and wedding weekend all thanks to Luba and her team! We truly could not have done it without her! She helped pick the best vendors for our vision and organized and followed up with all of our questions so quickly. It is not easy to plan a wedding when you live so far from the destination, but she made the process seamless! We were also super busy with our personal lives while wedding planning and Luba and her team were always so patient and helpful to us. All of our guests continue to talk about how amazing our wedding was and I have to thank Luba and Borja for their help for a seamless day and night. I recommend Luba and her team every chance I get! We got married at Corazon and she had such a nice relationship with the team there, which made us feel even more confident that all would be great. My husband and I could not recommend Luba, Borja, and their team more. We found Luba through a mutual connection who also hired her team for their wedding Corazon in Cabo. Upon meeting with Luba for the first time she was friendly, compassionate, and understanding. She was truly the ray of sunshine we needed. After we had met with nearly a dozen wedding planners virtually and even hired one who did not work out, hiring Luba and her team just felt like the breath of fresh air we needed.

Luba and her team understood our vision, helping us understand more about ourselves throughout the entirety of the wedding planning process. She was able to listen to our wants versus needs, lead us in the right direction, and be a friend and mentor along the way. After working with Luba, Borja, and their team for over a year and a half, I can truly say they now feels like family to us.

Luba could not be more personable. We initially met her in person in March of 2025 where she drove us around and supported us through meeting several vendors. She even brought us sweet treats as this was exactly one year prior to our wedding. She always greeted us with "hola guapa", smiles, endless hugs, and the most amount of positivity. We then met with her about four months prior to our wedding where she supported us through making more payments. We always provided cash to her to deliver to vendors, further supporting my claim that she is HIGHLY trustworthy. On our wedding day Luba was our go-to lady. It couldn't have gone smoother because of her. If there was anything that didn't go exactly as planned, I have yet to find out three months after our wedding.

Borja is her son, who worked alongside her throughout the wedding planning process. He is someone I would also recommend a million times over. He also greeted us with open arms and endless smiles. On our wedding day, he truly could not have been more supportive. I never didn't have a drink in my hand because he checked in on us so frequently while also keeping an appropriate amount of distance. He truly is the BEST!

Luba also has a team she works with who did a lot of behind the scenes running, but truly could not be more important. While we didn't get to meet every one of them, I hope they are able to understand the immense importance they carried on our wedding day. I hope they are recognized in more ways I am able to put into words.

Carson and I couldn't love Luba more and we can't wait to see her on our anniversary in March of 2027. She is such an important part of our journey and life as a couple.

I got married on February 28th, and Luba and her team made the entire process so easy and stress-free. Since my husband and I do not live in Cabo, planning from afar could have been overwhelming, but they communicated clearly, stayed organized, and helped bring our vision to life.
Luba was wonderful about working with our budget, handling last-minute changes, and helping us find unique details like our Deathly Hallows décor. She and her team also helped coordinate vendor payments so we did not have to make so many individual trips, and they organized our wedding rehearsal, which made everything run smoothly.
We are so grateful for the time, effort, and care Luba and her team put into our wedding. We highly recommend them, especially for anyone planning a destination wedding in Cabo.

My wife and I got married at Corazon - Cabo San Lucas in March of 2026. From the beginning of working with unique weddings - Luba and Borja were amazing. With consistent communicating, timelines and getting answers from vendors for us. We felt so confident and happy going into the wedding. People always say “Everything wont go as planned on your wedding day, just go with it” but my wife and I kept reflecting and saying how smooth and perfect our wedding day went! I’m sure there were little things that came up that weren’t planned, but my wife and I never even noticed because Luba and Borja had already taken care of it without us knowing. They are very professional, and even better people. Thank you for making our day so special!

Luba and her team were exceptional from beginning to end. Their communication was clear and consistent throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, everything ran seamlessly, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Luba kept me informed every step of the way, and her team’s presence allowed me to truly relax and enjoy the day. I highly recommend them!

Luba and her team were simply the best! From our initial meeting through to the final touches before the ceremony to the last detail of the night they were perfect in it all! They were so friendly, understood our vision and executed it precisely. Their vendor selections were wonderful and we just felt such a genuine connection right from the start. What a perfect way to start a new life together !

We cannot say enough incredible things about Luba and her team. We were referred by close friends who had used her for their own Cabo wedding, and after seeing that celebration firsthand, we knew she was the only call we needed to make. She exceeded every expectation.

Planning a destination wedding in Los Cabos from California is no small feat, but Luba made it feel seamless. She handled every detail with precision, from coordinating and booking all of our vendors to managing communication with every consultant on the ground in Mexico. As a couple planning remotely, her responsiveness and transparency gave us complete peace of mind throughout the entire process. No question went unanswered, no detail fell through the cracks.

What truly set Luba apart was her ability to hold the full vision of our day while managing a hundred moving pieces behind the scenes. Our wedding at Baja Luna brought together 130 guests, and every single moment felt intentional, elegant, and effortless. The day was more beautiful than we had imagined, and that is entirely a reflection of her team’s hard work and dedication.
