We truly have nothing but amazing things to say about Luba and her team. From the moment we met her she was professional, efficient, personable and just so much fun! We had started planning on our own for a few months before meeting her, but once we started working together she made the whole process feel much less intimidating. Luba worked incredibly hard to make the wedding planning as stress-free as possible and the day-of go as smoothly as it did.

There is no shortage of great things we can say, but we wanted to highlight the parts that we think made Luba and her team the perfect match for us.

1. Knowledge of the area’s wedding industry and vendors: After just a couple of conversations with Luba, we could have guessed that she has lived in the Los Cabos area and worked in the Cabo wedding space for a long time. We had found our venue (Acre Resort) and done some vendor research on our own but being unfamiliar with the area it was quite paralyzing. One of the first things Luba did was provide us a list of her recommended vendors in each major category. Knowing that she had worked with nearly all of them in the past already and hearing about her prior experiences with them gave us a lot of confidence. We ended up choosing completely from her vendor list and each person/company was just what we were looking for. What made it all even better was that she had worked with most of the vendors we chose many times before and already had great relationships with them. This not only helped in coordinating but made the planning and day-of an absolute blast! It really made the mood of the wedding day that much more fun to see everyone, not just our own friends and family, happy and enjoying their time together.

2. Budget sensitivity: At the start of our planning we made sure to be clear with Luba about our budget goals and the things that we wanted to prioritize (e.g. we cared a lot about photography/videography but not as much about florals). Throughout the whole process, we never felt like she was trying to push us to spend more than we needed or wanted to. On the contrary, she would actively compare prices for various things and make sure we were getting the best possible deal - from larger contracts to random decoration rentals. Luba helped us achieve our vision with the budget we had and never made us feel like we should be spending any more than we were comfortable with.

3. Communication: It seemed that the only thing that kept Luba from speaking with us 24/7 was our own concern about reaching out at odd hours. We stuck to emails towards the beginning of the planning process so that she wouldn’t feel pressured to answer immediately - even though she gave us her WhatsApp number in case we wanted to reach out. There were only maybe 1 or 2 times that we needed to follow up on an email we’d sent, but knowing how busy she is we didn’t mind at all. If it was truly an urgent matter, we were able to WhatsApp her and 100% of the time our question was answered almost immediately - even if it required her to reach out to someone else first. As it got closer to the wedding date, we were communicating by WhatsApp much more often and everything moved so efficiently.

4. Day-of organization: we are not exaggerating when we say there wasn’t a hiccup all day long on our wedding day. We followed the schedule that Luba created with our input and everything went according to plan. She had two assistants with her, Borja and Naomi, and given that they are also her children it made sense that they both shared Luba’s incredibly sweet personality and calm efficiency. On the wedding day, Borja ushered us through our schedule and we never once felt rushed or behind. Even if we did need to speed things up a little bit he was always smiling and spoke calmly. Many of our guests specifically noted they were impressed by how smoothly everything went. Naomi was also a joy to work with, and at the end of the night as we were wrapping up with Luba, both Borja and Naomi came over to say goodbye and share kind words with us.

5. A stress-free experience: Throughout the planning process, Luba let us know if we were behind or ahead of schedule and helped guide us through what elements to focus on next. She was always there to serve as a mediator with our vendors, and to help communicate our vision and resolve any issues that came up. It was incredibly comforting knowing that we had Luba on our side in case anything went wrong!

Overall, our experience with Luba and Unique Cabo Weddings was nothing short of fantastic. We honestly wish we could have just spent more time with them. Needless to say, we would highly recommend them!

We can’t say enough good things about Luba and Borja at Unique Cabo Weddings! Planning a destination wedding from Texas while they were in Cabo could have been overwhelming, but they made it so easy and stress-free from the very beginning.

From the early planning stages, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were super organized, always providing multiple vendor options with different pricing so we could make informed decisions that worked for us. And when it came to communicating with our venue manager (who was incredibly difficult to work with) they handled it all seamlessly. I didn’t have to stress about anything because I knew they were taking care of it behind the scenes.

Even when it rained on our wedding day, they handled the switch to our Plan B with such calm and grace. They made the transition indoors feel just as magical, and we didn’t skip a beat.

Our venue was also very remote, but that didn’t phase them. They were in constant communication with our vendors to make sure everyone knew how to get there, and they knew exactly what was needed to make it all work, from bringing in a generator to making sure our DJ and lighting setups were good to go.

From her initial presentation of touring our venue to coming back to finalizing our menu and meeting vendors to the week of the wedding, she was there and on top of it all. Once you go through your wedding, you’ll realize that having a good Wedding Planner can really make a break you being so stressed throughout the whole thing; especially planning a destination wedding!

When we were still choosing our venue, one of the main things that drew us to the Corazon was knowing that we had a Wedding Planner we felt would really take care of us and keep us calm and excited throughout the process.

Some of the things I loved the most:
- she makes sure that you are not alone, that she is there to help you and guide you, and honestly, she’s someone that makes you feel like there’s no such thing as a stupid question.
- she helps you work with your budget to find what things are most important to you and helping you achieve all the extra things you may want
- she has a list of vendors she enjoys working with to get you started
- her communication was always great! I would send her very long emails with thoughts or ideas and she would always respond so quickly it would just surprise me! As someone who over plans, she was the best person for me. And when I got very busy, she would check in to help make sure I wouldn’t fall behind and feel stressed closer to the day.. like I said, she was the best.

Luba worked very hard to give us an incredible wedding weekend with 130 guests at the Corazon! Her and her team, Borja & Naomi, helped arrange every aspect of the wedding to make sure things went smoothly, as well as helped set up our welcome party and other events.

I could write pages about how you would be lucky to have her and her team work with you on your wedding. She will work to bring whatever vision you have to life and she will make you feel like she truly cares about your happiness. My husband and I couldn’t be more happy with our decision to have Luba plan our wedding!

Luba worked her bum off getting my daughter's wedding set up on the rooftop of Corazon Resort. She was extremely helpful in getting us connected with the vendors that we needed for the reception, like the DJ, table rentals, cigar roller, etc. It was an amazing day that would not have been as amazing without Luba's services!
