Saiuen gardens is a unique and beautiful wedding venue situated in a serene Japanese garden in Granite Falls, Washington. This venue’s name translates to “The Garden of Holding the Feather,” which encourages those who visit to cherish the lightest moments of joy while being content with life’s simple joys.
Facilities and Capacity
Nestled on the banks of the Pilchuck River, Saiuen is a serene sanctuary not far from Seattle. This former Grand Tsubaki Shinto shrine has been converted into a zen-style garden that’s ideal for unforgettable weddings of up to 80 individuals. Designed for outdoor celebrations, this Pacific Northwest wedding venue can host everything from the ceremony to the reception all in one convenient place. Exchange your vows by the water, with the sound of the flowing river creating a magical soundtrack to your ceremony. Alternatively, say “I do” on the lush lawn, surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens. After, enjoy cocktail hour and the reception in an open-air setting, with the quiet beauty of the natural surroundings as your backdrop.
Services Offered
At Saiuen, begin the day in the main house, where you and your wedding party can relax and enjoy getting ready for the day ahead. This spacious house features four bedrooms, allowing you and several loved ones to stay on-site. Each of the Japanese-style rooms offers modern amenities and is designed in a minimalist ryokan aesthetic for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Parking and valet services are also available for guests’ convenience, as are parking and a dance floor. For your wedding meal, couples can choose from the list of preferred caterers, while additional recommendations can be made for other vendors. With its calming atmosphere and stunning surroundings, the tranquility of Saiuen sets the tone for a truly remarkable wedding day.
