Russell's bakery did an awesome job of doing our wedding cake and grooms cake. I would totally recommend them to everyone!!

Not only were the cakes extremely pretty, they were delicious!!!

A lot of the guests commented on how tasty the cakes were.

The grooms cake, shaped like two drums looked so realistic that two little boys at the reception thought they were real drums.

They even delivered the cake at our reception venue (The Hills at Lakeway) on time and set it up beautifully.

Russell's Bakery was amazing. I seriously shopped around, I went to Lucy's Cakes, Austin Cake Lady, and all the major grocery stores in the area. While Russell's is no bargain, it has great service, amazing cake (all the guests raved), and offers many options like different flavor per layer. Russell personally helps you design your cake, or you can pick out from one of his many beautiful designs. Everything went very smoothly with the cake on the wedding day. He was reliable, and I would recommend him whole-heartedly.

Wonderful cake, absolutely delicious!

Russell, the owner of Russell's Bakery, met personally with us and offered his creative guidance and considerable experience in wedding cake. Plus, the cake was delicious - lovingly created with the best ingredients. He then personally brought the cakes to the wedding site (Winfield Inn) and made sure they were presented correctly. One small issue - Russell said that generally you will need more slices of the "white" cake than of the chocolate cake (for the groom's cake). Well, in our case it turned out not to be true and the chocolate cake was gone before everyone who wanted chocolate had some! So if you think your friends and family do indeed like chocolate, and you have the budge, go ahead and get a big chocolate groom's cake! Best of all, instead of having to freeze our cake for our one year anniversary, we can go by the bakery and have some - fresh!

Russell was really nice and some of our guests told me it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. However, I took off stars because the kind of cake we actually got was different than what we had ordered and agreed upon. But, the cake was really beautiful and at that point I didn't care what flavor the cake was.
