My husband and I just finished an intimate 50 person wedding this past weekend and were blown away by our experience with Russell. Our experience working with him from first meeting to the actual event was above and beyond our expectations. We knew that we did not want a tradiitonal DJ, as our vibe was less of a dance party and more about ambient music. We were not dissapointed! Not only did Russell learn a special requested song for our ceremony, but he even incorporated some Greek music, found a musician that played mandolin and guitar, and organized additional music requested 2 weeks prior to the event. He was also a great resource for our officiant and family, as he provided sound and mic support for the ceremony and reception as well. Guests are still raving about the trio- their fun demeanor and talented musicianship.

Russell played the piano for our outdoor ceremony and did a flawless job. It was such a joy to have him at our wedding! Russell made our wedding day extremely classy. Not only is he a talented musician, he was punctual, professional, and easy-going. I had a piece in mind for my walk-down-the-aisle music, and he adapted it from its original orchestral arrangement, and converted it to piano only. I learned this after the fact - he just did his musical magic and gave this bride exactly what she wanted! He also accompanied two vocalists I chose, whom he met the day before the wedding. They worked together beautifully. I couldn't be happier with Russell, and am honored that he was part of our special day.

We had Russell as our pianist for our wedding ceremony in Bethesda, MD. During wedding planning, he was very responsive and flexible in communication back and forth on song selection, with him sending a helpful playlist of starting suggestions from a large repertoire and ultimately learning pieces we selected as well. He can play pretty much anything. Our ceremony venue had a piano and an organ and he easily switched to organ for the postlude which was amazing. He played for the Prelude, Processional, Bride's Entrance, a Hymn, and the Recessional. During the wedding, he was very smooth in transitions like switching from the wedding party entrances to a separate song for the bride.

He was incredible! Highly recommend! This was such a stress-free choice for us, knowing we had someone we could trust.

Russell performed the music for our wedding ceremony. He met with us and helped us choose music for the everything from the beginning to the end. His suggestions for music fit us perfectly, not just the usual standards, and he worked with any special music and singers we included. He was very respectful and professional throughout. Mr. Wilson was an absolute sensation not only during our ceremony but also in the planning stages. He was professional, on time, and easy to communicate with. He asked us thoughtful questions to help us select music. He is an amazingly talented and gifted musician- he played the keyboard for us so beautifully, and he is also extremely skilled in a number of other instruments as well! You literally will be unable to find a more talented musician for your wedding or event than Mr. Wilson- he's even in The President's Own (the United States Marine Corps and the Marine Band, America's oldest professional musical organization) and plays for the President himself! I highly recommend Mr. Wilson and could not have been more pleased and grateful for him being a part of our wedding.
