Laura is amazing!! I took Boudoir photos as a wedding gift for my husband and I may have liked them even more than he did!! She made me feel so comfortable and the pictures were absolutely beautiful. I can't recommend Laura and Rue Boudoir enough!!! I was very nervous about this experience, but there was no reason to be at all! She has a great eye and helped me to pose! The studio is very clean and inviting, in a convenient location in Manhattan. And the Dressing Room is amazing with lots of jewelry, shoes and other items to borrow.

Laura was fantastic to work with, and she is extremely talented. We loved our engagement session and can't wait to see the finished images from the wedding. She has a great attitude and put everyone at ease during the day. Her assistant, Nate, was also enthusiastic and helpful. Laura is very flexible, and isn't in your face with flashes during the big event. She has a sharp eye for detail and color, and we can't recommend her more!

Laura photographed our wedding in New York in May and she did an awesome job. We had to plan our wedding from out of state which is complicated, but she was very informative, helpful, and easy to work with. Her personality is very sweet and layed back and flexible. Her artistic style is very unique and creative which is what led me to choose her without being able to meet her in person untill our wedding day. On our wedding day we went to multiple locations around the city with a limo full of people which provided many challenges which she handled like a dream. Laura was our photographer for both our engagement shots and our wedding. We also did day-after wedding portraits with her. Laura is absolutely fantastic - She has a great eye and is so easy to work with.

All three sets of pictures (engagement, wedding, and day-after) were out of this world. I could frame practically all of them. I've had so many people tell me our wedding photos are the most amazing they've ever seen (and a lot of them have daughters who have been recently married and they made me promise not to tell their daughter's they said that!! :))

Laura is great to work with because 1) the photos will knock your socks off, 2) she responds super quickly to emails, 3) she respects your ideas and incorporates your wishes/ideas into the photos she takes, 4) she makes you feel comfortable and at ease, and 5) she'll do anything to get a great picture! (We were in Central Park in the FREEZING cold for our day-after portraits to get some AWESOME shots in the snow, and she didn't flinch or shy away from the frigid temps!)

I highly highly recommend her without hesitation.

We had Laura as our wedding photographer and she was fantastic. Our wedding was in a hot, hot June day and she was not distracted by the heat for one second. Not only was she on time and into details, she did such a good job in capturing the moments! Oh and also, the presentation box is so awesome and different from what photographers usually offer. Laura was amazing and made me feel very comfortable during my session. Her work is extremely tasteful and classy! She also has an amazing closet that you can borrow from. Although I had my own lingerie pieces, I used the jewelry she had that completed my look. I loved that I was able to review the pictures right afterwards and the book that I purchased is beautiful. I can't wait to give it to my fiance on our wedding night!
