Phuong was very nice and professional. He was very flexible with the vendors we were able to use for our linen and cake. I was very pleased with the decor provided. Very little needs to be done for decorating.

We held a wedding for ~260 guests here, and we really liked it. While the restaurant is actually pretty small for Asian wedding standards, we still had a decent sized dance floor and there was enough space between each table. Brides, this is your venue if you want something smaller for guest count control purposes (Asians parents, what what?!!). Most guests were close enough to the epicenter to see/know what's going on. However, there are pillars and other layout restrictions that do obstruct views for some guests.

Chu Phuong, the wedding coordinator/manager, was great and so easy to work with. He was attentive, and always very welcoming. He put my husband and I at ease that everything was going to go smoothly, and he did not disappoint. I did not hear any complaints about the food, but rather many compliments, so I'm glad for that. There were no food delays, and everything was on time as scheduled. Many of the guests I spoke to did not get a chance to eat wedding cake because the servers quickly removed the cake after it was set on the table. Between all the chaos (bouquet toss, garter toss, dancing) that typically happens when cake is served, I was a bit disappointed that servers didn't wait a little longer for guests to enjoy cake, or perhaps inquire with guests to see if they've had a slice. =/ This wasn't a deal-breaker, but I can wish.

There are many options for placement of DJ/MC, sweetheart table, and singer. We hired Chez Rose Floral Designs to set a canopy on the stage for our sweetheart table. I thought it was a really romantic setting, as we can enjoy our first meal as husband and wife in seclusion, yet still be able to see our guests below.

At first, Royal may seem to be pricier than other wedding venues in the area. They charge the base price + tax + a 20% service charge, and do require cash/check payment. But, Royal is still a great value. Their open bar was very well worth the price ($1500 for 4 hours), and our bar was packed al
