Ordering a wedding cake with them was an easy process, from scheduling a tasting to the final delivery of the cake. They were responsive at answering questions that I had about our custom cake toppers. They had a wide variety of flavors to sample at our tasting, and we were happy with the quality of the cake. We recommend Rossmoor Pastries without reservation!

This is a great bakery, and we’ve enjoyed a number of items from their display case over the years. For our wedding, we picked out a 3-tier cake from Rossmoor with 3 different flavors. We went with one of their standard designs (cherry blossom) and standard flavor sets, which included California Sunset, Strawberry Bavarian, and Mocha on white and chocolate cake. Rossmoor was very understanding with repeated rescheduling of the wedding date due to COVID (3 changes in total). The last wedding date coincided with the bride’s birthday, and so a birthday cake (coconut cream) was added onto the order. There were no unexpected cake surprises and everything arrived on time and as-ordered.

The cakes look exactly how they appear in the design booklet – impeccably decorated and eye-catching. They held up well in the several hours between initial delivery and cake-cutting at the wedding and looked fabulous in photos. They also tasted quite amazing and true to how they were at our tasting back in 2019. Of special note was the coconut cream birthday cake—we were so blown away by how delicious it was that we’ve settled on buying another one next year to relive the experience.

Our cake was included with our wedding venue package. We couldn’t have been more thrilled that it was done by Rossmoor Pastries!

Tasting: Jeff and I chose from a menu of flavors of cake and filling/frosting. Because of COVID, we couldn’t do an in-person tasting, but we actually had so much fun taking the box to go and eating it right outside! It made the experience less pressure-filled by just being the two of us. Six mini-cakes were included but additional flavor options were only $3 more so we chose two additional flavors. We ended up choosing the white cake and chocolate cake, both with raspberry filling inside. It was delicious!

Communication: The staff at Rossmoor were prompt and professional in their emails with me, and always answered questions in a timely manner.

Design/Final Product: They have a large variety of cake designs on their website to preview, which made the decision process easy. When we wanted to change the ribbon color on the cake, they sent me a photo with different options. The final product was STUNNING! Simple and elegant, and our florist was able to put fresh flowers on the cake.

I truly enjoyed working with Rossmoor and recommend them to future couples getting married!

the very first time i tasted Rossmoor cake i knew it had to be the cake i had at my wedding , 10 or so years later dream come true. Even tho we had to pay extra it was worth every penny. Each layer was a different flavor. They even modified the stands at last minute to accommodate my special cake topper

We got our wedding cake from Rossmoor through our caterer Critic's Choice. Rossmoor's cake and filling flavors were extensive and interesting, DELICIOUS at the tasting, and just as good at our wedding! We had 3 "tiers:" top tier strawberry cake with white chocolate mousse, second tier almond cake with French vanilla bavarian cream, and a sheet cake in the back of lemon cake with raspberry supreme filling. We also thought their cake design skills were great, although we chose a more simple one to go with our cake topper. Overall, we highly recommend Rossmoor for your wedding cake!

Great wedding cake. They have lots of flavors to choose from and designs. They were great to work with! I highly recommend.

The desserts were beautiful and delicious! I got a LOT of compliments on them. After the wedding, most people commented on the desserts and the food we provided. We decided to get a small two tier cake with dulce de leche and marble cake (fed up to 36 people). The cake was $150 plus the delivery fee to Newport beach. We also got a lot of desserts. We really wanted a variety. Overall, including the delivery fee, we paid less than $500.
