Thank you to Rossmoor Pastries for providing our wedding cake. Rossmoor Pastries was a preferred vendor for our venue. Ordering a wedding cake with them was an easy process, from scheduling a tasting to the final delivery of the cake. They were responsive at answering questions that I had about our custom cake toppers. They had a wide variety of flavors to sample at our tasting, and we were happy with the quality of the cake. We recommend Rossmoor Pastries without reservation!

Eight years later people are still talking about our wedding cake from Rossmoor, this was the best cake ever…

Can we just get wedding cake every year?

This is a great bakery, and we’ve enjoyed a number of items from their display case over the years. For our wedding, we picked out a 3-tier cake from Rossmoor with 3 different flavors. We went with one of their standard designs (cherry blossom) and standard flavor sets, which included California Sunset, Strawberry Bavarian, and Mocha on white and chocolate cake. Rossmoor was very understanding with repeated rescheduling of the wedding date due to COVID (3 changes in total). The last wedding date coincided with the bride’s birthday, and so a birthday cake (coconut cream) was added onto the order. There were no unexpected cake surprises and everything arrived on time and as-ordered.

The cakes look exactly how they appear in the design booklet – impeccably decorated and eye-catching. They held up well in the several hours between initial delivery and cake-cutting at the wedding and looked fabulous in photos. They also tasted quite amazing and true to how they were at our tasting back in 2019. Of special note was the coconut cream birthday cake—we were so blown away by how delicious it was that we’ve settled on buying another one next year to relive the experience.

Loved our wedding cake!

Our cake was included with our wedding venue package. We couldn’t have been more thrilled that it was done by Rossmoor Pastries!

Tasting: Jeff and I chose from a menu of flavors of cake and filling/frosting. Because of COVID, we couldn’t do an in-person tasting, but we actually had so much fun taking the box to go and eating it right outside! It made the experience less pressure-filled by just being the two of us. Six mini-cakes were included but additional flavor options were only $3 more so we chose two additional flavors. We ended up choosing the white cake and chocolate cake, both with raspberry filling inside. It was delicious!

Communication: The staff at Rossmoor were prompt and professional in their emails with me, and always answered questions in a timely manner.

Design/Final Product: They have a large variety of cake designs on their website to preview, which made the decision process easy. When we wanted to change the ribbon color on the cake, they sent me a photo with different options. The final product was STUNNING! Simple and elegant, and our florist was able to put fresh flowers on the cake.

I truly enjoyed working with Rossmoor and recommend them to future couples getting married!

Best cake on the planet

the very first time i tasted Rossmoor cake i knew it had to be the cake i had at my wedding , 10 or so years later dream come true. Even tho we had to pay extra it was worth every penny. Each layer was a different flavor. They even modified the stands at last minute to accommodate my special cake topper

Delicious cake!

We got our wedding cake from Rossmoor through our caterer Critic's Choice. Rossmoor's cake and filling flavors were extensive and interesting, DELICIOUS at the tasting, and just as good at our wedding! We had 3 "tiers:" top tier strawberry cake with white chocolate mousse, second tier almond cake with French vanilla bavarian cream, and a sheet cake in the back of lemon cake with raspberry supreme filling. We also thought their cake design skills were great, although we chose a more simple one to go with our cake topper. Overall, we highly recommend Rossmoor for your wedding cake!

The desserts were beautiful and delicious! I got a LOT of compliments on them. After the wedding, most people commented on the desserts and the food we provided. We decided to get a small two tier cake with dulce de leche and marble cake (fed up to 36 people). The cake was $150 plus the delivery fee to Newport beach. We also got a lot of desserts. We really wanted a variety. Overall, including the delivery fee, we paid less than $500.

Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable. They customized our cake to our liking. They are very professional and organized, we were easily able to get the exact shape, color, and style.
Now for the important part, the flavor! They were flexible and friendly in scheduling us in for a tasting so we could get the exact flavor we were looking for. With their great selection, flexibility, and knowledge, we were able to get exactly what we wanted. I could not think of a better place for your cake needs.

Our wedding package included a cake from Rossmoor Pastries and we couldn’t have been happier! The whole process was super easy and even though they’re a big bakery you get a lot of personal attention. There are so many great flavors and designs to choose from that it took some time for us to narrow it down. They even let you have cupcakes, pastries or a combination of everything as part of the package! We decided on a small two tier cake, some mini cupcakes and a couple dozen pastries. Our guests loved the variety of delicious sweets!

REALTALK - you can spend a hundred hours shopping for wedding cake bakeries. You don't need to - just go here. It's a warehouse. It's industrial. These people are not fucking around. You walk in there and you can tell they know what's going on. Just crushing the wedding cake game - there is no reason to use anyone else. Our cake appointment was clear and concise with plenty of samples and an informative and insightful sales lady. They ain't using a bunch of weak ass ingredients that you typically get at weddings where the cake is secretly gross - they are using high quality stuff that is delicious. We got some multi-tiered almond butter cream bullshit I don't even know what it is. But everyone lost their shit at the wedding about how great the cake was. Tasted amazing - best wedding cake I've had. Some kinda fruit layer in one of the tiers I don't even know. It looked fantastic - we got married at the Aquarium and they did a whole underwater coral themed cake thing with fish and sea creatures and shit. It looked amazing. People couldn't handle it. Photo swarm. Delivery, setup, they did all that; I didn't even need to talk to anyone on the phone - just magically showed up. Look you pretty much have two options for the cake game in the LBC - you get some scrub ass bullshit, or you get Rossmoor's to run it. 5 stars.

We ordered our cake through Rossmoor pastries as part of our wedding package. We could have chosen another bakery but the reviews for this place were good. It was easy to make an appointment and we didn't spend long choosing the flavors and design. The cake was gorgeous - love the silver details on the top of the cake. It was EXACTLY how I wanted my cake to look like. In terms of flavor, we choose white/chocolate/white with raspberry creme. it wasn't too sweet :). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have enjoyed working with I believe her name is Tiffany at Rossmoor! She is always very helpful and polite! I have been in to change my cake 3 times...I believe I have just what I want now lol. Each and every time, she was very patient with me and also gave me suggestions. Their cakes and desserts are GREAT!

We got our wedding cake from them since our wedding venue Included the cake in our package. Everyone at Rossmoor was very helpful and on our cake tasting meeting the person helping us was very professional and helpful. I felt comfortable talking to her and we where very happy with the selection we made. I wish i could remember her name :( On our wedding day my wedding cake looked just how I envisioned it and I was very happy with it. Believe me when I say there cakes taste so good lol!! Rossmoor is excellent. The representative sat with us and made sure our cake was exactly the way we'd want it. It turned out excellent; all the guests loved the cake (thought it was beautiful and delicious), and we still had tons of delicious left-overs.

Rossmoor has been a favorite bakery of mine and my family for so very long. They made my wedding cake for me in September and needless to say it was beautiful and delicious. I can't wait to get to that top layer for my anniversary. I had four layers with 100 guests and everyone wanted seconds. I've been to weddings when there is so much cake left, that was not the case with me. We have other bakery choices; however, when I want the best tasting and looking cakes and the best service, Rossmoor will always be my go to. On my way now to order for my granddaughters birthday cake and then back for my daughters babyshower!!

Rossmoor Bakery was wonderful and reasonably priced. We selected them as a preferred vendor for the Hilton Waterfront and are very pleased with our selection. We opted for a small 6" round cake on top of a tower of mixed desserts (rather than a traditional cake). We loved the mini assorted cheesecakes and the other variety desserts. Marla was very sweet during our tasting, especially considering my 2 toddler nieces were in tow.

Tasty, beautiful, and lots of it! We chose the Raspberry flavor for our cake, and I just have to say, it was good. The cakes are wonderfully decorated and taste even better then they look! They have a huge selection of flavors and options, and are more then welcoming to let you come in and try flavors beforehand! I recommend!

We chose Rossmoor Pastries because we had heard great things about them, and they were only a few miles from our wedding venue; so delivery would not be a problem. We chose three flavors for our three-tiered cake: chocolate with mint filling, lemon with raspberry filling, and chocolate with English toffee filling. They were amazing flavors! The actual cake was a thousand times better than the tasting. They had a variety of cake decoration themes to choose from, and we picked one that was a beach scene with waves and palm trees and birds. It came out beautifully. I would recommend Rossmoor Pastries. The cake was beautiful and the best I've ever had at a wedding. When I returned the cake base to get the deposit for that back, I commented about how the cake was amazing, but I didn't get to try the lemon cake, which was the layer I had really wanted to have. They lady was kind enough to have the kitchen prepare me up a little lemon and raspberry sampling to take with me. That was really nice of her.

The wedding package I booked with Hornblower Cruises included our cake from Rossmoor Pastries. I was initially nervous about using a bakery that was over 20 miles from the wedding venue, but didn't have a choice. Retrospectively, I am SO glad I didn't!

I scheduled our tasting (which included upgrades to flavors) with very little effort. The various employees I spoke with over the course of our contract were always helpful and pleasant.

The tasting was a wonderful experience. Every combination was AMAZING! They made sure we had plenty of coffee and water (you are pounding through the sugar!) and were comfortable throughout. The samples were super generous in size and we ended up leaving a LOT of cake behind. The cake, the fillings and icings were all so delicious!

Charlie, the owner, came out to help as we had some new and unique ideas we needed input on. He was very honest in indicating up front that what we intended was going to be very costly. He also gave us alternative means to accomplish the same look without the added expense. We ended up going with what we wanted regardless of expense, but it was so nice to deal with someone who wasn't trying to upsell us. We chose banana cake, baileys filling for one layer and chocolate cake, tiramisu for the other, both covered in marzipan.

Rossmoor Pastries did a truly outstanding job! Our cake was a masterpiece of moist delicious cake and filing with a custom marzipan icing that everyone raved about. It was beautiful and elegant and the best cake I have ever eaten.

Rossmoor Pastries did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. The staff was very courteous and professional. They were also very generous with the samples during our cake tasting. All of their cakes tasted fresh and were not sickeningly sweet like other wedding cakes we tried elsewhere. My husband and I chose their "Sea of Love" wedding cake design since we were married at the Aquarium of the Pacific and it looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL... and tasted yummy too! Rossmoor Pastries did an outstanding job on our wedding cake. Not only was it beautiful, the cake was delicious!! All the staff in the cake studio were very helpful and courteous, accommodating our schedule to come in early for our cake tasting with flavors we had pre-selected. The choices were amazing making it difficult to pick just 3! Prices were comparable to other bakeries we looked at but the quality of their cakes were superb! The cake was delivered on time, making for a stress free presentation. I will definitely be using this bakery for future events!!

We used Rossmoor Bakery for our wedding cake. we had a 3 layer cake with a different flavor on each layer. This cake was delicious not too sweet just perfect. We enjoy it as well as all of our guests. I would highly recommend this bakery. They also have other yummy treats. the staff is very nice and patient because with so many yummy flavors to choose from it can be difficult to make a choice.

Love, love, love Rossmoor Pastries. This bakery is near my house, so I've been going here long before I even got engaged. When I saw that this was one of the bakeries included in my wedding package through my venue, I knew I was going with Rossmoor right then and there, no hesitation! Our cake was absolutely beautiful. We picked out a cake we liked, and customized it with the colors and styling we wanted. Of course, I didn't see it until the day of the wedding, but when I did, I was so excited! It looked so much more amazing than I could have imagined - I was blown away! And of course, it tasted great (I knew it would though, their cakes area always really tasty!). If you're looking for a beautiful and amazing tasting cake, go with Rossmoor Pastries!

My husband and I went in for our cake tasting and had such a great experience. The girl who helped us listened to our ideas and helped us put together an amazing cake. Not only was the cake delicious but it was breathtakingly beautiful as well. Since our wedding we have ordered all of our cakes from Rossmoor. Every time they have been delicious and beautiful. Myself and my family will be customers for life.

Rossmoor Pastries did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Everything went smoothly from the start to finish. The staff at our tasting were super helpful and gave us ideas to make our collage of ideas come to life. Cake quality is also very good (very moist) and there is also lots of variety. Our final product was better than we even expected. Now looking forward to our one year anniversary to eat our top layer. =)

We received a wedding cake from Rossmoor as part of our wedding package with our venue, and the red velvet cake with french vanilla frosting was delicious! Staff were very responsive, flexible with changes, and offered helpful suggestions for the decoration. The cake was decorated beautifully, and we received many comments about how wonderful the cake was. Looking forward to eating our top tier next year!

The staff was very friendly. They delivered a custom-designed cake exactly the way we designed it and the cake looked beautiful. They even ordered for us a custom cake-topper and cake stand and took care of all the details. And the cake was delicious!

Our venue included our wedding cake and we had 2 options to choose from. Since our venue was in Long Beach and they had more reviews, we chose them.

Wow, they cake was amazing! Appointments are required for the wedding shop and a coordinator will show you want is included with your order, as well as upgrades. We had delicious samples and I was able to show her what kind of decor I wanted.

The day of, the cake looked amazing. We added a silver vintage platter ($50 plus $150 deposit) and were glad we did and it looked great. It was delicious and moist, plus we had lots extra. Everyone loved it. Can't wait to get a mini replica for our 1 year anniversary!

A wedding cake from Rossmoor was included in our event package (at Hotel Maya), so we hired them by default, but we couldn't be happier with the results. The cake turned out beautiful (just as discussed at our consultation), and was nice and moist and delicious. We received many compliments from our guests. I'm even eagerly anticipating eating the top tier on our 1 year anniversary - hopefully our freezer preserves it well! Thanks Rossmoor!

Roosmoor Pastries came in a package with our reception site, Hotel Maya. Their staff was super friendly, helpful, and they had a great selection of options for every type of wedding. We ended up getting a three-layer cake without cake toppers and just put some stargazer lilies on each layer.

We ended up going with the California Sunset crème filling after it was recommended, and would not have even tried it unless they had recommended it. The cake turned out beautiful, exactly how we had wanted, and dealing with Rossmoor Pastries was a total delight.

Rossmoor did an OUTSTANDING job on our cake. Our guests were enamored by it! 4 gorgeous tiers! Delicious buttercream and mouth watering cake inside!

The cake tasting was so fun and easy! You meet with a wedding cake specialist who walks you through all the details. We chose two flavors for our cake (California Sunset and a white cake with chocolate bavarian creme) Both were to DIE for!

I had a picture of the cake I wanted and the decorator matched it perfectly! Even posted it to Instagram which made me so proud :)

Since we were from out of town, all arrangements needed to be done by telephone and email. We ordered our cake a month prior to our wedding and arranged for it to be delivered to the restaurant on the Queen Mary where the wedding dinner was held. The cake was there ready and waiting for us. What a cake! It was elegant in its simplicity. It was a red velvet cake with a cream cheese filling and a white buttercream frosting. Simply wonderful! The ordering, follow up, delivery and execution of the cake was carried out with great efficiency and without any problem or issue. Rossmoor Patries is outstanding in all areas of their business.

The cake was included with our venues wedding package. I have a major sweet tooth so I was in heaven during our cake tasting. We chose the Tres Leches flavor and red velvet for our top tier. We brought in our custom cake topper and silk flower a few days before the wedding. It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted like heaven! We recieved nothing but positive compliments from all of our guest. They did such an amazing job we are now getting our birthday cakes from rossmoor.

My husband and I visited another bakery in addition to Rossmoor. We felt Rossmoor was the better choice. They are very professional and guide you through all the choices available. If you have specific ideas in mind for your cake that stray from a package deal they can accommodate though there are extra costs for that. The cake was delicious and looked good. No complaints on our end.

We went to 3 different vendors before making our final decision. We had 250 people attending our wedding therfore we were looking for the best price and quality. Rossmoor Pastries made an absolutely gorgeous wedding cake for us. They also made a grooms cake for me, it was a Navy Captains hat, sitting on the top of the American flag, with medals, a cut out ship, lapels etc. on the cake. We had so many compliments about the cakes. What an amazing job they did. We would highly recommend Rossmoor Pastries to our friends and family and even strangers. I recently got married at the Queen Mary, which included the cake package from Rossmore Pastries. We were lucky enough to go tasting during our lunch break at work since Rossmore was just down the street! We took a look at the standard wedding cakes that came in our package and actually found the perfect one. There were a couple of embellishments added to the cake which did not break the budget. Overall the cake was delicious, delivered on time at the reception, and looked gorgeous at our wedding. Highly recommend this place for traditional timeless wedding cakes!

The cake came with our package at Old Ranch Country Club. It was delicious, we had four tiers (3 types of cake). The sunset cake was amazing and everyone loved the dulce de leche too! Best cake we've ever had at a wedding and they let us come back for a second tasting too!

The team at Rossmoor Bakery is wonderful! They were helpful and very kind! Our cake was a highlight at our wedding; our guests were plesantly shocked when they tasted the butter cream frosting, as they were all expecting it to be fondant since the cake looked so perfect.

Rossmoor was more than willing to accomadate our wishes, including working with us to ensure we had the pastries assortments we wanted.

The red velvet and carrot cakes are super moist and fluffy, topped with the cream cheese frosting, made for the cakes a perfect bite every time.

My husband and I were fortunate to have a wedding cake from Rossmoor Pastries included in our package at our wedding venue. It was very easy to set up an appointment with them to schedule a tasting and design session. However, I would recommend scheduling an appointment far in advance in that their shop is very busy and appointments tend to book fast.

I went in for a tasting with my husband and parents. The person at Rossmoor was very helpful in guiding us through the steps of designing our cake. We had a great time sampling a couple of different flavors and were able to design a cake that was simple, delicious, and within our budget. Thankfully, we actually had the chance to eat a piece of our cake at the wedding and it was perfect! Our guests complimented us on it was well. Overall, Rossmoor is a great choice!

This is one of the few vendors that was completely stress-free/ worry-free. They completely understood my vision for the cake, and recreated it in one tasty confection. We choose the tiramisu cake with buttercream. We ordered a cake that ideally would serve 25 more people than attending our wedding. Not only was all of the cake gone, but several wedding guests were sneaking cake from other wedding guest. As a matter of fact, someone took the cake off the sweetheart table and at my slice! lol Delicious and reasonable. My wedding is the only one I have attended that people RAVED about the cake.

The best cake I have ever tasted!!! The frosting was perfect.... not too much and oh soo sweet!!

I went cake tasting and took one bite, turned around and booked them for my big day!! They were soo helpful and really let me do what I wanted with the design. Even when I had a million questions they were right on it.

My cake came out just the way I wanted it and I even surprised my husband with a grooms cake which the guests loved just as much as he did...

It was an amazing cake for an amazing day!!

Love this place and have been eating their tasty desserts since I was a little kid (when they were in Rossmoor). Our cake was outstanding! One of our guests came up to me and said...wedding cake is never moist...THIS CAKE IS MOIST! Loved it! Thanks for making a great cake for our special day!

I absolutely LOVED my cake!! I made changes to my original design and they were so helpful and I'm so glad I made that change because my jaw dropped on my wedding day when I saw my cake! It was exactly what I wanted!! Thanks Rossmoor.. it was not only beautiful but delicious! :)

I would definitely recommend Rossmor Pastries. We had red velvet cupcakes from them and they were amazing. They looked and tasted great. The only thing that was lame was paying $250 deposit for a cupcake stand but we brought it back the next day and got our money right back. The stand was nice!

Rossmoor Pastries was wonderful to work with! We had a consultation meeting where we sampled the delicious cakes and fillings (YUM!) and our consultant went over our design and color options. Our case was part of our venue package and we had four options to choose from. Rossmoor's cake was by far the best, so we went with them.

They also offered the biggest range in design and didn't charge for a lot of "extras" that some of the other bakeries did. Our wedding cake was delicious and we had lots of people tell us how great it tasted! Roosmoor was easy to work with and produced a gorgeous and tasty cake. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Rossmoor Pastries made cake for my wedding in January. Initially I wanted one with fondant and all kinds of colors, but after seeing their selection and the variety of ways they decorate I decided on a multi-tier square cake with butter frosting and a simple design - then I added fresh flowers. It turned out absolutely beautiful and was delicious. I decided on a vanilla cake with mango and pineapple puree' for one layer and marble cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry for the other two layers. That way I got my favorite flavor and my husband got his! I highly recommend Rossmoor Pastries for you wedding. They have so many selections and a wonderful staff to guide you in the right direction if you don't know exactly what you want.

We just got married at Dodger Stadium (7.16.11) and Rossmoor Pastries made us the best "DODGER BLUE VELVET" cake ever!

I knew I wanted a custom "blue" velvet cake when I went to the tasting appt months ago. Thankfully the owner knew of a recipe. We weren't able to taste a sample so I was worried about the color, taste, consistency BUT this cake was absolutely perfect. It was moist, yummy and delish. The color was spot on! It was a big hit. (And I knew my guests really liked it bc I could see the blue on everyone's tongues).

Customer service is great... responsive to my emails and they called bc they had to modify our cake toppers to be more stable on the cake.

Overall wonderful experience! Thanks Rossmoor.

The Grand at Long Beach referred Rossmoor to us for our wedding cake and they did a FANTASTIC job! we got to taste so many cakes - which were ALL GOOD but the one we picked was absolutely delicious - and i am not a cake fan! it was a BEAUTIFUL cake... we got a lot of compliments on it. i will definitely use them again!

Rossmoor was recommended to us by our venue coordinator. I'm not a big fan of cake, and neither is my husband so we weren't exactly looking forward to the cake tasting. We ended up having a great experience during our visit. Not only did we receive exceptional service, but they had a variety of flavors and designs to choose from. In addition, their prices are reasonable. One month before our wedding, I scheduled a meeting to make 1 minor change and pay the final balance. I was so excited on our wedding day to see that our cake was perfect, it looked just as I had imagined it. We received many compliments from our guests regarding the great taste of our cake.

Rossmoor is the pastry shop that our venue uses so we went with them-so happy we did. I was hesitant at first because I work at a golf course that hosts many weddings and wedding cake tends to be not so great, or awful. The cake meant a lot to us and Rossmoor nailed it. The tasting was wonderful (got to try so many yummy things-had a hard time choosing!) and the end product was just as great! So delicious and gorgeous! We chose a very simple design and it was PERFECT.

Can't wait to have a piece in a year! :)

I absolutely LOVED my wedding cake! Not only was it gorgeous and exactly what I imagined, it was SO delicious!
My cake was provided via a package with Hotel Maya, so I was a little nervous. But when I went to visit the actual shop for my tasing, the staff was very friendly and didnt treat me any differently for having a package cake.
There was a wide variety of options that were included and those not included were very fairly priced.
My husband and I went a chocolate cake with Baily's Irish cream filling, and white butter cream. And I have to say it tasted even better on the day of the wedding than at the tasting!
I will definitely be ordering cakes for birthdays when my family starts to expand in the near future!

In short, the meeting/tasting went great, and the final product was AMAZING.

Everyone was so happy with our selections - California Sunset.

Also, it was beautiful. We sketched our cake on a piece of paper during our meeting, and they recreated it for our wedding day.
