Maria is absolutely amazing! I can't say enough wonderful things about her! She made the perfect dress for me. I tried on a few options in her store and liked elements of three different ones, so she made an original combining all the pieces that I liked from each. We had three fittings, so I was able to tweak things even after the initial order and it turned out better than I could have imagined! Thanks Maria!

Maria is absolutely incredible. I didn’t like any of the wedding dresses I tried on. Went to several different stores and tried on many dresses and never felt like a dress was "the one." So I decided I was going to draw up a sketch and have one created. I found Romantic Creations by luck through a Google search, called Maria up and within the first few minutes on the phone with her I knew that she would be the seamstress to make my wedding dress. Booked an apt. The very next day and we drew up a sketch together of exactly what I wanted in a wedding dress. We picked the material and she began making the dress very soon after that. Maria was always such a sweetheart and so accommodating. I was very lucky to have found her.

We had agreed that I needed the dress done by late Oct, however my husband and I decided to elope in early Aug. I asked if she could have the dress done 8 weeks sooner and she said that it was no problem. I had several fittings to make sure it was everything I wanted, but was so much more. My wedding dress was absolutely GORGEOUS! She made the wedding dress of my dreams! It was beautiful and I was told on many occasions that it was the most beautiful wedding dress they had ever seen. I do not know what I would have done without Maria and her amazing talent!

Maria was an absolute delight to work with!! She is both professional and a highly skilled designer and seamstress. I work in the field of design and know that it can be difficult to interpret people's wants at times–Maria was perfect in this aspect. She very carefully listened to every request I had for my wedding dress and her design came out more perfectly than I could have ever imagined or asked for. Through the process she became a trusted friend and it was a JOY to have her be a part of our wedding day! Maria has my highest recommendation.

I met Maria after looking at several other stores and dress makers, and she made the decision of where to have my dress made easy. She worked with me to personalize the experience and to make the dress exactly what I wanted, even when I wasn't entirely sure what that was. As an added bonus, the alterations were included in the cost. The dress turned out beautifully, and the quality was superb. She also made 3 bridesmaids and the mother-of-the-groom's dresses and was able to coordinate fabrics between them all with the theme and design of the wedding while being beyond accommodating with fittings and alterations for myself and my out-of-town bridal party.

In the days of "everything looks the same" Maria is an outstanding breath of fresh air. When it was time for me to find my mother of the groom's dress, I was greatly disappointed in what is available in the bridal shops. I shopped on line and I actually got to the point where I thought it would be impossible to find a dress that would fit me perfectly, look lovely on my ample figure and feel as soft and as light as lingerie. You know how you get all dressed up and you look in the mirror and you say, "Oh I look so good?" Then, about an hour later you start thinking things like, "I can't wait to get out of this outfit?" Well maybe it's just me but, I wanted my dress to be so comfortable that no matter how long I wore it, I wouldn't want to take it off. But of course, being a woman, I wanted to look the best I could look for my only child's formal wedding.

Then I remembered Romantic Creations. When I first started Signature Cakes by Vicki, I stopped by Maria's place one day and brought her sample cupcakes. It was something I used to do when I first started. I remembered looking around at her samples and how beautiful they were. So I gave her a call. We set up a private appointment. And I mean private. Just she and I in her studio with all the time I needed to describe to her what was important to me. First and foremost she is a lovely lady with care and concern, but her professionalism and skill far exceeded my expectations.

I told her my budget, the basic style that I felt flatters my figure the most and the colors I thought would work for me. She sketched my description, we tweaked it and she took my measurements. We decided to wait a couple of weeks to order fabrics because she wanted me to really explore the colors and be sure. It was well before the wedding. Finally, we ordered the most indescribably sumptuious silk satins and chiffon I've ever felt. Later I decided that I wanted to add a french lace overlay to the bodice and we ordered that.

Maria made a mock gown in muslin to make sure the design and fit was perfect. I'm telling you, I could have worn that simple cotton dress as the gown, no kidding. Then she made the dress. When I came to try it on, I was almosts speechless. It was everything I dreamed it would be and it felt like a butterfly cloud. Maria waited until about 2 weeks before the wedding to put in the zipper so that the fit was perfect.

The day of the wedding people were constantly saying things like, "Oh my that dress is incredible. Where did you get it. It looks like it was made for you." Ummm yep.

I actually want to have some other things made by Maria. She is worth the adventure and the price. If I was getting married, let me tell you she would be making me the dress of my dreams!!!!!!

Maria is a gem as well as a very talented lady. My oldest daughter was married 6 years ago. After spending a couple of very disappointing weekends searching for a bridal gown at several shops, in Atlanta as well as Nashville, we stumbled, by accident, into Romantic Creations. As soon as we stepped into her shop, I knew we had found what we were looking for! Her fabrics were absoultely gorgeous. Beautiful lace, gorgeous silk and satin fabrics. Her designs were unique, yet very classy and refined. Maria and my daughter together created an absolutely stunning gown. My daughter and I went in for the first fitting together. Maria's muslin gown was near perfect. In a few weeks, my daughter went back by herself for the second fitting. Everything was exactly as envisoned and fit to a "T"! Now my second daughter is getting married. Maria is designing her dress now. This is the only item on my wedding "to do" list that I feel totally confident that everything will go perfectly! I love, love, love Maria. She was like a mom to me during the wedding gown design/fitting process...because, unfortunately, my mom is not local and couldn't be here for much of it! She followed my vision exactly, creating the gown of my dreams as well as a perfect veil. Since it was made to fit me, it was perfect! Also a great value--she was able to make the dress for about the same or less as other gowns I looked at, and since there were no extra alterations needed (often adding hundreds to bridal store gowns) I actually saved money! Maria is an angel. When the dress I originally ordered from a bridal warehouse came to me in the wrong size just two weeks before my wedding I envisioned having to shop at the nearest department store for a white slip dress or something. That's where Maria came in and stole my heart away with a custom gown made for me in just a couple of days. It was amazing and she adapted to a very special situation.
