Fast forward to our wedding day…

Robert and his assistant, Evan, were so prompt, focused, and professional throughout the entire day. They were so discreet, and we forgot that they were nearby throughout the whole day until we saw our highlight wedding film. Although we enjoyed every minute of it, we were not able to pick up every detail that we had incorporated into our day. One of the best vendor choices we made for our wedding was Robert for videographer. We wanted emotive footage, but didn’t want an over-the-top weepy, “Disney film” with sappy music. Our wedding was on April 1st, so of course we played the pranksters a bit and wanted our video to also capture the joy and silliness we shared with our friends and family. We looked at so many demo reels on-line, received quotes from several videographers and only met with Robert. We really loved his work. The only other vendor we were considering meeting with had a great price tag (including drone footage) but was insistent on his winning formula/package and wouldn’t budge at all in terms of tweaking some of the deliverables. This other vendor also wouldn’t meet us half way; we would have had to drive 50 miles to meet him in person. Robert was anything but, very flexible and friendly. He met half way between us (about 20 miles). He listened to our vision of the day, the footage we were hoping to capture (including a modified “Love Story” interview on the wedding day). He incorporated what he could on our wedding day and was very clear and up front about what would be difficult to capture. Robert really went above-and-beyond in delivering all the footage and finished product, including some formatting issues with my computer reading the files. This guy is a reliable professional but also a great artist. I don’t know how you could go wrong with Robert.

Robert and his services provided more than what we can ask for. He was easy to work with and responded to our emails promptly. Additionally, he provided raw footage of our reception at our request at no additional cost. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a creative and experienced videographer. He made our wedding a wonderful and memorable experience.

We can't believe the quality of our wedding video that Robert so skillfully captured. We found Robert by luck. We had two ceremonies, one East Indian and one American, in one day!!! Not only did Robert and his team capture both of the ceremonies and reception, the video we saw was so emotional and beautiful that all our friends and family fell in love with it! The videos help us relive the great moments of our wedding day. We had a beautiful location but it started raining that day. Even then the lighting was amazing, the editing was on point and the drone capture provided the breathtaking ariel view of the location. We couldn't be happier with the end products. Robert not only created a beautiful wedding video, but he worked right along side our photographer making the entire experience so amazing! After the wedding he never complained about the hundreds of emails I sent him asking to change the littlest things in our video. If I didn't like the way I looked in a scene or preferred a different scene in its place he would immediately make all those changes. He worked with me until my video was exactly how I wanted it, down to the very last second!

What Robert created with our wedding video, in just under two months, should be submitted for an award to a short film festival. I could very well be biased because it was my wedding video, but I am probably the most harsh critic when it comes to film. what is incredible, aside from the shots and the editing, is the tone and voice he used. He was able to capture every moment throughout the weekend with a lens that only a true auteur could accomplish. If you want a wedding videographer that just gets the night then get someone else. If you want a wedding videographer that can give you the purity, the essence, and the moments of the night, then Robert Michael Films is your best choice. From cost to equipment to hours to deliverables, Robert is by far better than anyone out there. Trust me, I went through close to 50 wedding videos on Vimeo and made calls to 10 wedding videographers.
