From our very first meeting, we knew we had made the right choice. Instead of simply discussing music, he met us at the venue, walked through the space with us, and shared ideas based on his experience that went far beyond what we expected from a DJ.

One thing that really stood out was how much he reminded us that the day was about us. He encouraged us to focus on creating the experience we wanted rather than worrying about what everyone else expected. That perspective helped us make decisions that made our reception feel truly personal.

He also provided us with a well-organized reception timeline that became the foundation for our own itinerary. After we customized it, we had a phone call where he reviewed everything with us line by line, asked thoughtful questions, and offered suggestions that helped us refine the flow of the evening.

He introduced us to the idea of a hora loca, explained how it works, and helped us decide whether it fit the type of celebration we wanted. He also suggested having a buffet instead of a plated dinner and offered to call tables one at a time, which kept everything organized and even helped us save money.

On the day of the reception, everything came together beautifully. He arrived prepared, brought professional lighting that completely transformed the atmosphere, and coordinated seamlessly with our wedding planner so every transition happened effortlessly. We never had to worry about what came next because they worked so well together behind the scenes.

When it was time for our grand entrance, he made it feel like the true focus of the evening. He also listened when we explained that we’re not really dancers. Even though our family wanted us to have the traditional dances, he understood that about 30 seconds was enough for us and transitioned the music naturally without making anything feel awkward.

Throughout the night, he played the songs we requested, kept the energy exactly where it needed to be, managed the microphones perfectly for every speech—including making room for one of the younger guests who wanted to say a few words—and kept everyone engaged without ever making the evening feel rushed.

Beyond being an outstanding DJ, he’s simply a wonderful person: professional, thoughtful, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day special. We were incredibly fortunate because he was actually a gift from our best man, and it ended up being one of the best wedding gifts we could have received. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to work with him and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a DJ who truly cares about creating an unforgettable celebration.

This is my second time using Juan as a MC/DJ. I love how Juan engages the guest, plays the right music and is able to do his MC in English and Spanish. He’s truly professional, funny with the crowd and knows how to hype the crowd up during bride and groom intro, the games, speeches, etc.. He truly understands what works and doesn’t for a wedding not only with the DJ part but the flow everything. He really guided me during the wedding planning process and gave a lot of good input. The bride and groom who don’t dance actually danced the whole night, thanks to Juan!!

RMP was the best decision I made for the DJ at my wedding. Let me start by saying that they made our night the best night of our lives. The DJ, Mr. Juan aka Mr. LS, is an amazing MC on top of being a DJ. Very fun and energetic and professional. I would definitely recommend RMP for all your party music needs. I’ve been to numerous weddings and parties and I definitely will say are the best. If you don’t use them, consider your party/event boring. Seriously, they’re the best.
