After our first tour of Riverbend at River's Edge, my fiancé said "book it." The venue is a remodeled supper club offering the original bar, wooden beams, copper walls, floor to ceiling windows, and updated bride/groom suites. It is the perfect mix of modern and rustic. We had our ceremony and reception onsite with plenty of space for all of the guests. Cathy, the venue manager, was easy to work with and very responsive. She helped us select the bar offerings along with the room floor plans. Once onsite, we had nothing to worry about. Riverbend at River's Edge is just outside the cities on the Apple River, making it the perfect escape for the weekend while still drivable for guests nearby. We highly recommend you take a look for yourself!

Dawn completely exceeded our expectations. All of the flowers she did for us were stunning and fit perfectly with our vision. Highly recommend.

Our wedding was on June 23rd and Cathy did all of our flowers and our tuxes. We told her so many things that we wanted and she was able to accommodate all of it. The flowers were more beautiful than I could have imagined and everyone complimented on them! We did have a few hiccups along the way but we were on the same page about almost everything so it all worked out in the end. We had flowers and garlands used as centerpieces, ceremony decorations, other random vases, bouquets, boutonnières and corsages along with 7 tuxes for the guys. I am so happy that we found Apple Blossom Events! Thank you for everything!

Cathy was absolutely AMAZING to work with. I planned my WI wedding from CA, so I never actually met with Cathy in person. We discussed everything over a couple phone calls, e-mails, and sharing my flower Pinterest board with her. I had 6 bouquets, flower girl, and toss bouquet. One boutonniere and 2 mother's wrist flowers. I had a total of 18 center pieces in 3 different designs: 6 garland, 6 in a wooden box, and 6 in a chalice of sorts with 2 books and a longer garland for the head table. I also rented a chandelier and fabric for added decoration for a birch trellis (provided by my venue). I loved everything, and they did all the set-up for me the morning of the wedding. I was confident with hiring Cathy, as she came recommended through my venue, so I knew I would be safe with my venue's requirements for no glass, etc.

Cathy & her team at Apple Blossom Events are fantastic to work with! We initially booked ABE for bar service, and once we saw her selection of rental items (at very reasonable prices) we also booked her for that service as well. The bar service was fantastic - we provided the alcohol & mixers and ABE served the drinks to our guests. Additionally, the items we rented were perfect for our space (items ranging from candle holders to a large coffee pot). Cathy has incredible experience with weddings & events, and it really shows when she is preparing for the event all the way through to execution. The price for the quality of service cannot be beat!

Working with Cathy and Apple Blossom Events was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding! From the very beginning, Cathy was so easy to talk and work with. She's incredibly knowledgeable about floral design, but also the whole event planning business! She made the process so smooth for us and paid great attention to our requests. We used Apple Blossom Events for our flowers, various decor rentals, bartending service and set up and take down.
