Riverbend Chapel is a beautiful church and wedding venue located in Washington Missouri, overlooking the Missouri River.
Facilities and Capacity
Riverbend Chapel has indoor and outdoor ceremony space options, both with amazing views for up to 250 people. Our Chapel has floor to ceiling windows that backs to trees that is lovely year round. The outdoor deck and gazebo have sweeping views of the Missouri River and the lower Augusta area farmlands, and is lovely from every angle.
WE ARE AN ALCOHOL-FREE VENUE. Our large banquet hall is in the lower level of the chapel, complete with dance floor, if you would also like to have your reception here. The Honeymoon Cottage is an available option for use as a dressing area or for overnight stay or both.
Services Offered
Our experienced wedding coordinators will walk you through the process, help you plan the details, and keep everything on track. We have an amazing selection of decor that is included and you are still able to bring in your personal touches as well. We can provide pre-marriage Christian counseling and an officiant if needed.
Cuisine
We have partnered with Mosaic Cafe and Catering to bring an excellent menu with a variety of entrees and choices. We offer sit down plated meals with beautifully decorated tables, complete with linens and full place settings.

The Vineyard at Riverbend Chapel offers the perfect setting for weddings and receptions. The outdoor wedding location sits on the bluff of the Missouri River with a breathtaking scenic view of the surrounding area. No need to worry about a back up plan for your outdoor wedding due to inclement weather for there is a gorgeous and charming chapel that seats over 250 people. The reception hall is simply cozy and elegant. The staff will ensure that you have no worries on your special day! This is by far one of our favorite places for wedding photography and videography. It has been an absolute joy working with Toni Backs and the staff at The Vineyard at Riverbend Chapel. It is a must see or must visit location if you are planning a wedding.
