We were married on August 13, 2011 and I have to tell you, Matt McElroy from Rick Obey's Entertainment was by far one of the single BEST THINGS about our wedding! (Besides getting married to my amazing husband!). Right from the start, the service I received was professional, welcoming, and accommodating. I first spoke with Charlene Bazarian, who stayed in contact with me every step of the way, answering all the questions every Bride has. Matt was right on the mark with all the songs we asked for and was so in tune with our guests and what they wanted. He respected our wishes for limiting some types of music, while engaging us in some fun we wanted to have with our song selection as well. He made suggestions along the way but never once made us feel like we weren't in control. Our guests had so much fun dancing, they wanted to keep it going for a few more hours! I cannot recommend them enough. If you are looking for a fun, exciting yet professional, "in touch" DJ, I would definitely hire them. We hired Matt from RIck Obeys Entertainment to DJ our wedding and we could not have been happier. From the first day we met with Matt, he made every effort to make sure he had a full grasp on the type of music we wanted played at the wedding, and equally as important the type of music we did not want to be played at the wedding. He did a great job as an MC as well as he introduced the wedding parties, the speakers and in general keeping everything moving along smoothly. If you want your wedding to be the best dance party anyone has ever been to, hire Chip McConney! Almost every guest at our wedding throughout the night told us we had an amazing DJ. We wanted a few key things to our wedding, one of them being good music with people dancing all night long, Chip provided that - no one left the dance floor all night! Chip was extremely professional and responsive throughout the planning process and was really easy to work with. We gave him very high level guidelines as to the type of music we wanted (and didn't want) and he took care of the rest. No stress but an ultimate celebration!
