DJ Matt was the absolute best! He was such a pleasure to work with, but also such a low maintenance vendor. He made the process simple, but asked good questions that helped us make sure we communicated any expectations we had. His professionalism and preparedness were greatly appreciated.

Our guests had the most amazing time. People we've never known to hit the dance floor spent the entire night dancing. We were blown away. The way DJ Matt used data analytics to organize the music to keep people engaged was so impactful, and so fun to talk to him about! It's clear he loves what he does and the enjoyment he finds in what he does brings such great energy to any event.

Matt made our wedding fun and memorable! He showed up early and set up extra speakers to reach not only our function hall but also the outdoor balcony and hallway area so there was nowhere that guests werent feeling the music! He had perfect timing as he played certain songs for cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting and then dancing. My dad had pulled his back the morning of my big day and Matt was able to see when to cut off our father daughter song before he was in too much pain without guests even noticing! In advance of my wedding we had a few meetings to go over the playlist, special songs and my husband and I expressed our concern about dancing for our first song and he totally put us at ease... reminding us that when the time comes nothing else will matter and well remember nothing but how much we smiled all day. Matt is not only an amazing DJ but also an amazing person and we were so happy to have him!

I highly recommend booking Matt to DJ your event. Matt DJed our outdoor July wedding and was exceptional. The process of initially getting in contact with him and reserving the date was simple – no crazy forms or astronomical deposits. We then had to postpone the wedding a year because of COVID. We reached out to Matt to let him know of the situation, he was so understanding and moved to the new date no questions asked. Through some emails and a brief phone call, he had a perfect grasp of what we wanted for the wedding day (and he delivered). He was happy to review and use our spotify playlists if we wished. He knew we wanted a laid back feel, with not too much MCing (however he would have been happy to have done that if we wanted him to). He played exactly the music we wanted during cocktail hour and dinner. He took note of the music we definitely did not want. He faded out songs as we asked for during dances. He provided all the music and microphone needs for the ceremony as well. And then he created the most incredible dance party with his music. The man knows how to read a room! So many of our guests (older and younger) raved about the music. He was professional, lovely, and low maintenance. When I asked him prior to the event what he needed from us he just said an outlet. He is so easy to work with because he is a true expert at what he does and has everything under control. Cannot thank him enough for making our wedding celebration beyond what we ever could have imagined.

We were married in September and hired Matt McElroy as our DJ. After our first meeting with Matt we knew that he was just what we were looking for. Matt was easy to talk to, bounce ideas off of, and it was apparent that he had lots of experience. We told Matt that we had a wide age range of guests and asked that he choose what to play based on how the night was going. We didn't have a huge song list and really just left it up to him to decide what our guests would like. He crushed it! He also let us use his equipment for our ceremony and cocktail hour (we had a guitarist play during our cocktail hour) and was VERY accommodating. He is definitely a team player and goes above and beyond to be helpful and professional. We had the best day and cant thank Matt enough!!

He was able to make some last minute changes to mic the ceremony and provide music during cocktail hour (which we hadn't originally planned for).

We can’t say enough positive things about DJ Matt. Throughout the entire process he was helpful, thoughtful, and easy to work with. He met with us multiple times to go through what we did and did not want for our ceremony and reception and made us both feel that our music and entertainment was in good hands for the big day. In addition to setting up his table, microphone, and speakers at our reception site, Matt was also able to set up speakers and microphones at our ceremony site, which was outside in a sunken garden and several hundred feet away from the nearest electrical outlet. Despite the funky set up, Matt never made us feel stressed or concerned that there would be any issues or hiccups during the ceremony and he definitely delivered on the day of. The music, microphones, and sound quality were all perfect and we received compliments from several guests about Matt’s work and his positive attitude. During the planning stage, we sent Matt a list of songs that we wanted to use for the bigger moments of the night (procession, father-daughter dance, etc.) as well as a list of songs that we’d like to hear during the reception and late night dancing. Without any drama or complications, Matt blended in all of our selections seamlessly. He was even able to loop an instrumental interlude from the song that played while the bridesmaids walked down the aisle so that the bride and her father would enter at the exact perfect moment of the song. We could not recommend Matt any higher. He was an absolute joy to work with and we felt lucky to have him DJ our wedding.
