Tom from Blue Ribbon Entertainment was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. Finding the right DJ was honestly one of the more challenging parts of our planning, but once we found Tom, the combination of his personality, responsiveness, experience, and the incredible value he offered really sealed the deal for us.

Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, Tom was wonderful to work with and consistently responsive whenever we had questions. His online planning portal was incredibly helpful for organizing our music, timeline, must-play songs, and everything else we wanted for the night. He was always available when we needed to talk something through, and by the time our wedding arrived, we felt completely comfortable with him, even though we hadn’t actually met him in person yet.

When we finally met Tom on our wedding day, he was exactly what we had hoped for. He was fun, energetic, professional, and handled all of our announcements, special songs, and requests exactly as we had discussed.

What impressed us most, though, was what happened once the dance floor opened. Tom didn’t simply follow a predetermined playlist. He read the room.

He managed to play everything from our must-play list and even worked through our “play if you can” selections, while also taking requests from our guests and knowing when it made sense to deviate from what we had originally planned. There were songs and genres requested that weren’t necessarily our personal favorites, but Tom intuitively understood that they would make our guests happy and keep the room energized. He knew exactly how far he could stray from the plan while still making the night feel completely like our wedding.

One of our favorite moments of the entire night wasn’t planned at all. Our nieces, who were also our flower girls, decided they wanted to perform a choreographed dance to a Taylor Swift song in front of everyone. Without missing a beat, Tom had the song queued up, gave them their moment, and let them take over the dance floor. Their performance ended up being one of the highlights of the entire night.

That moment really sums up what made Tom so good. A great DJ isn’t just someone who can follow a playlist and timeline. It’s someone who knows his craft well enough to read a room, pivot when something unexpected happens, and recognize when an unplanned moment is worth letting happen. Tom did that throughout the night, and every decision he made fit seamlessly into the wedding.

He kept the night energetic, fun, and moving naturally, while making our guests feel included and still keeping the evening true to what my husband and I wanted. We couldn’t have been happier, and our guests repeatedly told us how fantastic our DJ was.

We would recommend Tom without hesitation. In fact, I genuinely wish we had another event to plan just so we could hire him again! That’s how much we enjoyed working with him and how happy we were with what he brought to our wedding.

They DJ’ed at my wedding and did an awesome job. Very professional to work and plan with and brought a fun vibe to our party, as well as super flexible as things come up. I would recommend going with blue ribbon for your wedding or party, and the price for a wedding was really good comparatively to other wedding DJ/ ceremony microphone services so I enjoyed greatly doing business

Tom is the best DJ you will find. He is excellent at his job. He reads the crowd so well, is extremely professional, and will be one step ahead of you the whole night. He made our whole day seamless! On top of that, he is just the nicest guy ever! He truly cares about you and wants you to have a lovely wedding day. Your expectations will be far surpassed if you choose Tom as your DJ!

Tom, thank you so much for everything. I have told you a thousand times how much I appreciate you for stepping in. It was fate and I truly believe that. Everyone enjoyed the night so much and your transitions for our ceremony were absolutely incredible. I will remember that for the rest of my life. You did the ceremony so perfect, I didn’t think it could get better, but you killed it for our reception! Everyone had so much fun and we could not have asked for a better DJ to be apart of our day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Tom was an incredible DJ! We got married at Castle in the Clouds and he was highly recommended by the staff there. His booking process was incredibly easy, the online portal was very handy and made it easy to pay, pick songs we liked and didn’t like, and review a timeline for the day of. He was there for us via text, email, or phone call leading up to the wedding. Tom worked with all of the staff to ensure things ran smoothly and my goodness they certainly did! Tom played everything we could have wanted to hear on our wedding night and did a great job avoiding songs on our “Do Not Play” list. We essentially had background music playing from the moment guests arrived for the ceremony, to the moment they left the reception. It felt like a movie! He also sent us photos he took which was really nice to see his perspective of our wedding. If you’re considering Tom as your DJ, I highly recommend him he will not steer you wrong!

Tom is extremely enthusiastic and fantastic to work with. He made that part of the wedding planning process so easy for us. He was incredible, from the lighting to the quality of the sounds to the music was fantastic. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Tom was fantastic! I have never been to a wedding, in which the entire room fills up the dance floor, until my own. He chose the best mix of songs and knew the best times to switch between songs. He's been doing this since he was a kid and is such a genuine and kind character. He brought the party and I would choose him again in a heartbeat! Thanks Tom!!
