About
Castle in the Clouds, a vintage mansion wedding venue in Moultonborough, New Hampshire, is known as an enchanting historical estate. The venue was originally built in 1913 by Thomas Gustave Plant, who worked in the shoe manufacturing industry. He was a millionaire that retired at the age of 51 and then later built this estate after he married in the year of 1913. The land he bought to build on included the Ossipee Mountains and Lake Winnipesaukee. Since 2006 the estate has been owned and operated by Castle Preservation Society, open to the public. Today couples are able to host their wedding at Castle in the Clouds amongst all of the skilled craftsmanship of J. Williams Beal & Sons of Boston.

Castle in the Clouds is a wonderful place to have a wedding. The views, the grounds, and the venue buildings are perfect. The staff is accommodating and extremely professional.

Castle in the Clouds is a beautiful and historic location! The views are breathtaking and the entire estate is radiating with romance. The staff is gracious and friendly across the board. This place is like New Hampshire's own mini Downton Abbey. I enjoy the opportunity to play may guitar here when I can to create a romantic or 1920s mood. Can't say enough about the wedding planner Jessica and her staff. Professional & creative.

Castle in the Clouds is one of my favorite venues for performing ceremonies. The setting is stunning and the Wedding team is outstanding. We have an excellent working relationship that is collaborative and truly client-centered. At Castle in the Clouds I am able to fulfill my promise to my clients that I will create a wholly original ceremony that lives up to their vision and wishes.
