The Common Man Inn & Spa is a wedding venue located in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Besides the elegant wedding facilities, the property provides plenty of opportunities to engage in activities both on and off site. Couples and their guests can shop for antiques, fish in Squam Lake, tube down the Pemigewasset River, explore hiking trails, go mountain biking, and more.
Facilities and Capacity
The venue features four different event spaces to help bring a couple’s wedding vision to life. For the largest of gatherings, the newly renovated Birches Hall provides an ideal setting. It accommodates up to 180 guests and boasts a distinctive chandelier created from mason jars. Majestic French doors open up to a private brick terrace. The additional large hall, Foster’s Hall, can also host larger groups, with room for up to 150 guests. For more intimate parties, The Inn offers the Pemi Room, the Tenney Mountain Room, and the Baker Room. These spaces can host up to 30, 40, and 50 guests respectively.

A great venue for our big day!
Right choice for Destination Catering
We just threw the most unforgettable 80th birthday bash for my Grandpa John,s , as the Common Man Catering was the shining star of the evening!
The entire team was a dream to work with. They took the time to really get to know what we wanted and needed, going above and beyond to accommodate everyone's tastes and dietary quirks. Grandpa John,s eyes lit up when he saw the Lobsters Bake.
Beyond the mouth-watering food, the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, efficient, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They managed everything with such grace and ease, we didn't have to lift a finger and could just soak in the joy of the celebration.
The ambiance they created was spot-on, too. The tables looked elegant yet inviting, and the little decorative touches (like the lobster bibs on the back of the guest chairs) they added made everything feel extra special.
And finally, but most important; we had rented a VRBO for the party. The ability to contract from afar then have such a joyful event was priceless. Just perfection,
