We can’t express in words how amazing the Common Man Inn team was. We had our reception at the Common Man this past weekend and could not have asked for anything more. For starters, the Birches room is absolutely gorgeous. Nicole and her team made sure it was set up beautifully, including signage and little touches. The appetizers and dinner were delicious, and the complementary cheesecake trifle was a hit! The space was perfect, and kept people dancing all night long!

We LOVED our experience with the Common Man Birches Room for our wedding! Everyone raved- the food, how cute the venue was, and the staff! Nicole was great in planning our wedding and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She even spoke to another vendor on our behalf when she noticed a concern. If you're debating whether or not to have your wedding here, DO IT! You won't regret it!

We just threw the most unforgettable 80th birthday bash for my Grandpa John,s , as the Common Man Catering was the shining star of the evening!

The entire team was a dream to work with. They took the time to really get to know what we wanted and needed, going above and beyond to accommodate everyone's tastes and dietary quirks. Grandpa John,s eyes lit up when he saw the Lobsters Bake.

Beyond the mouth-watering food, the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, efficient, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They managed everything with such grace and ease, we didn't have to lift a finger and could just soak in the joy of the celebration.

The ambiance they created was spot-on, too. The tables looked elegant yet inviting, and the little decorative touches (like the lobster bibs on the back of the guest chairs) they added made everything feel extra special.

And finally, but most important; we had rented a VRBO for the party. The ability to contract from afar then have such a joyful event was priceless. Just perfection,

We had our wedding reception at the Common Man Inn and Spa on October 5th, and it was better than we ever imagined! They set up all of our decorations for us so we had nothing to worry about the morning of the wedding. The waitstaff and bartenders were amazing; they were holding a second wedding in the ballroom next to ours, and yet I never felt like they were spread too thin or weren’t giving my guests attention. Kali was an incredible asset to have, not only the day of, but in the wedding planning process as well. She always answered my email questions within a day and knew just when to tell me that we didn’t have to worry about something just yet! She was such a calming presence throughout the stress of planning the wedding. Besides having the reception at the Inn, we also used the spa for manicures and pedicures the day before; stayed in one of the suites, where the bridal party and I got ready the morning of; and had a few family members stay in the rooms as well. Everything was perfect! Every member of the staff was incredibly attentive and kind. I could not have asked for a better place to hold my wedding reception, and I highly recommend The Common Man Inn and Spa to anyone looking for a reception hall!

We had our ceremony and reception in the birches hall and we could not have been happier! Food was amazing, bartender was great, and it was awesome to be able to have all parts of our wedding in the same building!

We had such an amazing experience working with everyone at the Common Man for our special day!! We used the Greenhouse for the ceremony (thankfully because it ended up raining, which was actually beautiful in the greenhouse!), and then the Birches room for the reception! Everything from the very beginning was seamless with great communication. it really was a dream come true!!

There are not enough words to say how great of an experience we had at The Common Man Inn in Plymouth for our October wedding. Kali was nothing short of amazing! She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we may have had. Each time we met with her she was patient and took her time going over things with us. When it came to the day of the wedding- she was even more incredible! From the lay out and set up of Fosters Hall for our reception, to the fine details at the Greenhouse for our ceremony, everything was picture perfect! She was constantly zooming by making sure everything was going well, and all of our guests were taken care of. She even had a plate of appetizers at our sweetheart table for us to enjoy (which we greatly appreciated!). All of the food was so delicious. We had so many comments from our guests about how great all of the dishes were- especially the late night snacks! We could not recommend this venue enough! Our day was literally perfect. We are so excited to celebrate our future anniversaries at The Common Man!

On Sept. 9, 2017 our daughter and her finance were married at our home here in Meredith, NH. It was such a pleasure working with Kali Foley from The Common Man Inn & Spa. Right from our first meeting to discuss the wedding details and menu options, I felt so at ease with Kali. She is such a joy to work with. Common Man has been in the food service industry for quite a long time and I can understand why. The quality of the food and service were impeccable. Our guests raved about the menu!! Thank you for making Kate and John's wedding a day to remember!

The Preserve in Tamworth, NH. All of the food and service was outstanding. We could not have been happier. I would give them and Kali who was our coordinator my highest recommendation.

The Common Man staff were amazing and the food was wonderful! My guests loved everything and most of all everything was handled by them-I had forgotten about a guest that had a few severe food allergies and they handled it without me even knowing. They were so professional and I am so grateful that they helped to make my day so special.

Jane (hair) and Judy (makeup) were amazing. My consultation was great and wedding day hair and make-up was even better. They made me so relaxed through the whole thing and remembered everything we had discussed at the consultation. I really loved both my hair and makeup- it looked so natural and not over done at all and the photos came out great. Thank you all so much for an amazing experience!

Kali and everyone at the Common Man is AMAZING. We honestly had THE BEST time ever - our wedding was more than we ever dreamed! Everyone was so friendly, helpful and accommodating, Kali especially. Also, all the vendors you recommended were awesome as well. We have literally zero complaints and we got married during a monsoon!

Kali and the rest of the Common Man staff kept everything moving and under control on the big day. We had some serious weather happen and we ended up going with Plan D for our ceremony. But, no one skipped a beat. It was awesome. Our ceremony was so special because of it and we honestly couldn't have imagined a Plan D being so fun, enjoyable and relaxed. We LOVED it.

And, they made planning the wedding an absolute breeze. All the emails back and forth, Kali answered EVERY SINGLE (sometimes silly) QUESTION and came up with so many great ideas and recommendations. Let her (and everyone at CM) be the experts - they do this for a living and honestly enjoy it! We are so excited to go back and celebrate anniversaries or just to visit! The ability to have the Common Man prepare/serve the food, set up/tear down the venue, and provide a day-of wedding coordinator made for a very smooth day. The food was excellent, the staff was fabulous, and I couldn't have had a better day! Thanks to everyone at the Common Man for making it happen!

We chose the Commonman & Italian Farmhouse for our wedding as both venues were Exactly what we pictured for our day, then after meeting Kali & discussing packages & details, it only solidified our decision! First Kali was amazing to work with, she made things so easy, was so flexible with any requests & had answers to any questions I had within a day or so. I loved that so much was included in the wedding package, I only needed a couple other outside vendors. To do the set up/break down of the decorating was a huge help too! Not many venues provide that kind of help. Though I didn't get to eat much myself (bride problems), everyone was talking about how good the food was & I was so happy to hear that because good food was one of my must-haves! The Commonman will forever hold a special place

My husband and I had the absolute BEST experience planning and having our wedding at The Common Man. From the moment we emailed Kali to the final departure after all was said and done, I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff. Kali was wonderful to work with. Such a DOER!! It was the best day, weekend, experience of my life and I thank Kali, her staff, and The Common Man for their flexibility and effort. The food was also really great - I was too nervous to eat much, but I've had many of my guests saying how much they liked it. We had a buffet and many people went up for seconds and thirds which was also a good sign :). I am so happy we had our reception here and it will always feel like a special place for us moving forward.

Food was delicious and creative, and the staff made sure we were fed even though we were busy mingling. For instance, they left a plate of appetizers on our table so we had a chance to try them during dinner. Everyone was friendly, kind, and accommodating.

The Common Man Inn and Spa was fabulous! I loved that from the time we checked in on Friday to when we checked out on Sunday, everything we needed was right on property. All of my family and bridal party stayed at the Inn and we were able to get our hair and makeup done at the Spa. The food was amazing and we had our dream ice cream sundae bar plus late night snacks. Kali the event coordinator is so friendly and professional. Our wedding was in Foster's Hall and our ceremony was on the beautiful front lawn. Our guests loved being able to be outside on the porch and the lawn throughout the evening and we had several games of corn hole going!
Throughout the planning process, I felt as if I were the only bride she was working with. She answered every question and e-mail in a timely manner and with enthusiasm. Our wedding was everything we had hoped for and guests are still raving about the Common Man!

The Common Man Inn and Spa was the caterer for my daughters wedding this past weekend at the Preserve in Tamworth NH. There are no words to describe the amount of time and effort that went in to having our daughters wedding be PERFECT! From the grooms dinner, to the wedding reception every single detail was seen to and created a wedding day and night that exceeded all our expectations. Jennifer Tower, Kali, and Tina were all there to ensure everything went off as planned and could not have been more accommodating and professional. A huge Thanks to all of them!

The common man was a fabulous venue for my wedding. They were able to accommodate all of my needs and all of my guests were very impressed with them. I would highly recommend them for any function, especially weddings!

We had a beautiful and perfect wedding on 10/17/15 at The Common Man Inn & Spa. Our ceremony was held at The Greenhouse, next to the Italian Farmhouse, and our reception was held at the Inn's Event Room. The staff was helpful and friendly during the entire planning period, leading up to the event, and the day of the wedding. The location is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for an autumn wedding. The food -- whether it was for family dinners, our rehearsal dinner, our welcome reception, breakfasts, and our wedding reception dinner -- was all fresh and perfectly prepared and we couldn't have been happier with the food or the service! The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, and took great care of everyone. Most of our guests, including my husband and I, stayed at the inn during our wedding weekend. The rooms are spacious, kept very clean, decorated with cute and rustic themes, and just the right environment. The convenience of staying on location made everything very easy and accessible. My bridesmaids, the mothers, and I also utilized TCM's Spa services for my bachelorette party, and hair and make up for the wedding, and the service there was superb. Staff was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The treatments were amazing and the stylists made us feel beautiful.

A big thank you to The Common Man Inn & Spa's staff members for making our wedding weekend perfect and the exactly what we dreamed it would be! We can't wait to go back on anniversaries to celebrate there!

The staff at the Common Man are absolutely incredible. They are ready to do anything to help make your special day perfect. They're always on the lookout to assist you, but they don't hover. I can't speak highly enough about Kali (the events coordinator) and the rest of the staff. I didn't have a single worry about my wedding day. From start to finish, everything went perfectly smoothly. The Inn itself is wonderful, welcoming, and beautiful. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour at the Greenhouse, which was beautiful. We did pictures there too, which came out incredible! We had our reception at the Inn, which was beautiful. We used Foster's Hall, so we had access to the farmer's porch and the lawn. We loved it! We got some excellent pictures there also. I love the Common Man, and I can't wait to go back for our anniversary :)

Having planned this entire wedding from a distance and via email in most circumstances, the staff has the experience to guide the process. The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth, NH was wonderful! We had our ceremony and reception at the Greenhouse. It was so beautiful! We looked quite a bit and this was our favorite place, not to mention the cost was so affordable.

Start to finish, everyone was there to help and make our day special. Kali, the event coordinator answered SO many questions from me. I'm very detailed oriented and she never once made me feel like I was bothering her. Stephanie, our day of coordinator worked with us for the rehearsal and the ceremony/reception. She was great! I had so many guests telling me they say her working so hard to make our day perfect.

Our family and guests had a terrific experience with the entire staff at the Common Man in Plymouth NH. Cali Foley, our Wedding Planner did a fantastic job working with our daughter, fiancé, and our family exceeding our expectations. We very highly recommend the Common Man for a Wedding.

The Common Man did a great job at our wedding, the food was excellent, the wait/bar staff was very responsive and friendly, and the on-site coordinator made sure everything was going smoothly and to our specifications. I would highly recommend the Common Man as a wedding caterer.

Absolutely amazing! We had our wedding offsite (at the Timber Hill Farm) and working with Kali and the crew at the Common Man was so easy and effortless on our part. We chose the Pig Roast buffet for our dinner and our guests said it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had! We skipped the traditional wedding cake and instead did a make your own sundae, which was a great hit as well.

I cannot say enough great things about Kali, she was knowledgeable, accommodating, flexible, professional and so friendly!

The Common Man is AMAZING!!! I can't say enough nice things about this venue. First of all the staff here are all so kind and accommodating. The Inn is BEAUTIFUL. We got so many compliments from our guests about their rooms and how much they loved Fosters Hall. We were lucky enough to work with the events coordinator Kali. Kali was there every step of the way and made the wedding planning process so easy. She was such an amazing resource and answered every question I had. She helped in every step of the planning process and made sure the rehearsal dinner and wedding ran perfectly. The wedding party also used the Spa for their hair, makeup and nails and everyone looked beautiful! The staff at the spa made us so comfortable and we even were able to order drinks and lunch and have it brought to us as we were all getting dolled up. Also THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! We were blown away by the Common Man and are so happy we chose this venue. I can't recommend it enough! If you choose the Common Man as your venue it's impossible to be disappointed.

We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our son & daughter in law at the Common Man Inn in Plymouth, NH. We cannot say enough good things about our experience. They were very friendly and helpful with everything that we asked of them. The food, the service & the attention to detail was above and beyond our expectations! They do everything for you so that you may sit back, relax and enjoy your event.

I just got married June 13, 2015 at The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth, NH. I spent weeks and weeks searching for my perfect venue! Thankfully my now husbands parents brought me up to The Inn! On arrival I was SOLD! I got married at The Greenhouse and had a reception to follow at The Inn. The Greenhouse was blooming with constant flowers everywhere --- beautiful backdrop of a wedding looking right into the mountains! The Inn had a reception room with a raised dance floor with "U" shaped seating, amazing porch and very creative bar!
I met with Kali --- she was the perfect wedding coordinator for me! She provided me with constant support in planning the wedding > e-mails and calls EVERY week for months on end! Always a prompt response and willingness to do anything to help!

When we were getting down to the wire - I was able to meet with Kali and go over everything in person - I dropped everything off at the venue 3 days prior to the event - VERY helpful! We arrived Friday for Pedicure/Manicures and then Saturday for Make-up and Up-do's as did my four bridesmaids. I had aunts and uncles and cousins in the spa all weekend long --- such a treat to have it right on site!!! VERY FUN!

The wedding weekend from rehearsal (The Italian Farmhouse --- aka ceremony site) to the spa to the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception to the venue as a whole was just flawless - completely amazing. That goes for the staff as well - we felt like we were in great hands all weekend long!

THE VENUE IS AMAZING AS WAS THE ENTIRE DEDICATED STAFF!!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR WEDDINGS!!!

Everything when absolutely perfect. Even when we were notified the morning of the wedding that 8 of our out of town guests had decided not to come, the staff was able to move the seating around and help us make it transition smoothly...

Jenn and Kali from the Common Man were absolutely amazing to work with! Not only was the food amazing, but they were professional and took the stress off of my plate. Dinner was on time and the bartenders were quick and efficient! I cannot recommend the Common Man enough!

We had my son's rehearsal dinner here. The room looked great. We were able to bring in different table cloths and flowers and votives. The food was delicious. We had a BBQ, keeping with the rustic theme of the wedding. We had eaten in the small pub located on the premises, and found the food fair, but everything we had for the rehearsal dinner was outstanding. We had open bar for 46, and it was surprisingly reasonable.
Kali worked with us and made the whole thing stress free. She was wonderfuland very helpful, especially since we live in R.I. And our function was in N.H.

Extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff. The Inn was great, from unique and comfortable rooms, to great amenities like Fosters and Frosty Scoops ice cream. The Common Man was also very understanding regarding our guests food allergies - there were plenty of gluten free options - pizza, bread, etc. In fact, our entire meal at our wedding was gluten free and the amazing thing was that none of our guests (except the one's with intolerances) noticed! The food was great, the space was great. We can't wait to go back!

The staff with the Common Man events department was amazing with helping me plan every last detail of my wedding. They were quick to respond to my calls and emails and were extremely flexible with me to make sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. The day of my wedding my family went to the reception venue (The Greenhouse) very early before any staff was there to drop off the decorations, flowers, ect and left directions for the way things should be set out. By the time the reception started, everything had been placed perfectly according to the directions and the entire room was absolutely beautiful. I was shocked at how hard the staff worked to make sure my day was everything I imagined it to be and more. My husband and I would recommend The Common Man/Greenhouse to anybody getting married. They went above and beyond for us!!

The Common Man Inn & Spa was the perfect place to hold my summer wedding reception.The coordinators were amazing and got back to all my crazy emails in prompt fashion. The front desk and Innkeeper made sure everything in our suites was perfect. They even put "bride" and "groom" pillowcases that I brought on the pillows in the our suite the night of the wedding. Every detail was thought of. I could be more happy with the entire weekend. The ladies at the spa were so nice and helpful and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. I cannot say one negative comment about the Common Man Inn & Spa! It was an amazing weekend I'll never forget!

Absolutely loved working with the Common Man! They were so helpful, accommodating, and just awesome! Worked with Liz, Kalli and Stephanie and everyone at the front desk -- they were all great! Huge disappointment in the salon. Makeup was perfect. Hair was terrible. Stylist refused to listen to me (the bride) and told me I'd look like an "old maid" so she didn't do what I asked. My matron of honor spoke up after my appointment and the stylist redid my hair. Awful way to start the day and this was after a hair trial weeks earlier. 100% recommend the venue but find another salon.

If you are looking for a rustic venue in New England that provides great food, awesome accommodations and superb customer service all for a very affordable price tag this is the place to go!

My husband and I got married there on 10/25/13 and worked with the Common Man for 12 months to plan our very DIY wedding that was a balanced mix between traditional and extremely personal/slightly funky. Our first wedding coordinator, Sara, was incredibly helpful and responsive to all our questions. We had NO idea what we were doing and required lots of guidance and the turnaround in hearing back from someone was never over 48 hours. A few months before our wedding Sara moved on from the Common Man and we were introduced to Kali, our new coordinator. We were a little nervous about the switch so late in the game but in a few short conversations and an impromptu meeting with Kali we knew we were in great hands. She was not only our coordinator the few months before but was a huge help to us the 24 hours before, the day of, and the day after our wedding. She checked in on us to make sure we were calm and set, set up our decorations, took command to help us through a rehearsal, help serve tables, washed dishes, was seen helping behind the bar, helped with clothing malfunctions and also acted like a friend that took a genuine interest in our wellbeing throughout.

From start to finish the Common Man provided top notch service. The food was fantastic, the hotel accommodations were amazing, the housekeeping staff were dolls, and there wasn't a person that attended our wedding and stayed at the hotel that didn't amazing things to say about it all.

Kali and the team at Common Man were amazing at making sure our needs were met and that our wedding was perfect. We didn't have to do anything they did it all, it came out to a very beautiful wedding and we couldn't be happier. The Inn staff also made our wedding stay very pleasant and comfortable. We are big fans of the Common Man and would eat/ stay there again. Would also recommend this venue to our friends and family.

The wedding day was perfect, the set up of the reception hall was perfect as well. The spa, the guest rooms, and Fosters boiler room were also wonderful!! If you want a perfect wedding for a GREAT value and amazing location this is the place. :)

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! We were 100% pleased with the service and the event. Sara Norris was our wedding coordinator and she knows her stuff. You will not be disappointed, especially if you get the butternut squash ravioli as an appetizer. :)

My husband and I got married at the acommon Man in Plymouth NH last month and they were absolutely fabulous!! All of the event staff were do patient with me and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I couldn't have asked for better! We had our reception in fosters hall, it was perfect for our 100 guests. The raised dance floor made it do that all the guests could see important parts of the reception. We stayed in "Camp" that night and it was beautiful! The decorations were so original, it felt although we were staying in our own cabin! I would recommend this venue to anyone! They are just fabulous!!

The Lobster Mac & Cheese was a huge hit with our guests! The Common Man was so accommodating for us. We had our cocktail hour on a different part of the estate, so the set up a remote bar with beer and wine and we picked two signature drinks to be served during the cocktail hour as well. The staff was very professional and friendly. All our guests had nothing but good things to say about the food and drinks!

I was so happy that we had picked our venue to be here and the wedding day just confirmed that even more. Unreal, they were absolutely amazing from the set up of our reception, the placement of all decorations and the food...awesome!!! We were so happy that my Husband and I made a deal...that on our 1st Anniversary we will stay at the Inn in the same suite, who knows maybe it'll be something we do every yr!!

We used the Common Man restaurant for our rehearsal dinner. The staff was very nice and the food was excellent.

The staff at the Common Man Inn was exceptionally pleasant and bent over backwards to make us and our guests comfortable and happy. I had problems with my bustle during the reception and, by the time I fixed it, my dinner had gotten cold. The staff insisted that they get me a fresh plate of dinner so I didn't have to eat cold food at my own wedding. We stayed the whole weekend and they repeatedly sent us champagne and chocolate. We even ate dinner at their restaurant and we were given a bottle of the most expensive champagne for free. It was incredible. From the day we booked our reception there, we were provided with a wedding planner to help us decide food, table setup, etc, and she was wonderful; it definitely made the experience smooth. I would definitely recommend the Common Man Inn to anyone looking for a great, complete venue for their reception.

AMAZING! The Common Man Inn was so awesome to work with.

Planning our reception at the Common Man was so easy. Liz was very flexible and met with us on her days off so that we were able to make the trip to New Hampshire from Maine. She was very accommodating to our every request. They let us have 61 guests without charging us extra. They knew all of the details of the menu and could answer all of our very specific questions. I did most of our correspondence through email and Liz responded very promptly and answered all of my questions.

The day before the wedding, my girls took me to the Spa. My reception coordinator was in on the surprise and set up my "set up meeting" at 10AM. We spent the entire day at the spa having massages, manicures, pedicures, and I had waxing done. They were so great to me! They were so flexible and accommodating to my every need. The lunch we had was delicious. I left there glowing.

Our reception went off without a hitch. Liz and her crew set up our reception perfectly despite not having really met with me at all the day before. I only gave her my guest list and she went from there. The Foster's Room was amazing. The wait staff was so responsive. If I needed anything at all, I just had to look around and one of them would be there in an instance and transfer my message to the appropriate person. Both Liz and Jen, the event coordinator, were there making sure everything went smoothly. Even though they were working another event at the Italian Farmhouse, I never noticed them taking time away from me. They also helped when my cake failed to show up in time and actually contacted my baker and ensured that it would get there. I don't know what I would have done without them! It was an awesome day and I recommend them in a heartbeat.

Kali was a great help. Anything we needed she was there with a smile on her face and made sure we were all happy. Food was great and served hot. Was great working with her and I would recommend this venue to everyone.

Go with it!! My guests were all satisfied with the hotel and the service, not to mention that delicious food. If I forgot to do something, either Kali or another staff came looking for me so that it would all work out. Once I got to the hotel on Friday, I worried about nothing - which is exactly what Kali told me would happen. My wedding was magical and I have The Common Man Inn to thank for a lot of it!

HIGHLY recommend The Common Man Inn & Spa as a wedding venue. We had the wedding in the Greenhouse behind the Italian Farmhouse. Everything was in one place which was helpful. Great venue, great food, great hospitality, and great weather. It was a perfect wedding weekend. The staff at the inn are very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process from start to finish. Kali was an excellent resource. She was friendly and helpful in getting all of the details together for us. Stephanie made sure that the day of the wedding was set up and carried out flawlessly. Thanks to the two of you. Also, thanks to the rest of the staff who prepared excellent food and provided exceptional hospitality at the inn. Our families really enjoyed staying at the inn. Hands down, the best weekend we have ever had and the staff helped make a dream come true.

My Wife and I had the pleasure of having The Common Man Inn & Spa cater our wedding day. The service and food was absolutely amazing the whole night. We worked with Kali who was a big help and made the whole process very easy!

During the planning process we asked for an hors d'oeuvre that was not listed on that menu, and not only did they make it happen but it also tasted amazing. We have also been hearing from all of our guests that they loved the food.

Along with the great food they brought great service throughout the whole night and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

We had our wedding at the Claremont, NH location of the Common Man Inn, and it was just perfect. We are from the area but even our out of town guests were pleasantly surprised and in awe of this attractive, rustic location in the heart of Claremont! The staff was attentive and met all of our needs. We were able to customize our decor options and our food choices. They worked great with all of our family and vendors to make the day all we could have wanted. The accommodated a buffet and open bar and had plenty of staff to make all of this happen! We couldn't have picked a better location for our wedding!

We had our wedding at Common Man in Plymouth, NH. It was a beautiful, rustic, and intimate venue. The food and venue were both wonderful and I was very impressed with the service. Our day of event coordinator Steph was fabulous, on top of everything, and responsive to our needs. Jennifer, the inn manager/keeper, was also very helpful and responsive to us and our guest needs.

I was a little bummed that we had to rent the outdoor arbor ($100 to rent even though it is always onsite; it should be included for the amount of money that you end up spending on the wedding) and chairs ($2.75/chair) for the outdoor ceremony. We spent close to $400.00 on this portion of the wedding and didn't even get to use them because we got rained on. Steph pulled through exceptionally on transitioning the ceremony to indoors.

Overall, wonderful experience!

We held our reception here, and were very impressed. Working with the Common Man Inn was easy and comfortable. They were very responsive to our needs and wants. The guests were well taken care of, and they were flexible with the bridal party's late start. The dance floor, raised in the middle of the room, brought out a great festive atmosphere. The food was delicious - and a lot of it was locally grown. The Inn pays attention to being environmentally friendly, using solar panels for heating water and biodisel delivery trucks. We had a wonderful time, and a clean conscience doing so. Some of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to!

Kali was great to work with! I had a million questions before the wedding since I was doing everything myself and she was patient and answered everything. The food was fantastic and the staff that came to the event were awesome!! They really added to the evening. The bartender was fun and everyone enjoyed him. I love The Common Man restaurants and it was so fun to have them and the CHEESE spread :) at our wedding!

My husband and I chose the Common Man Inn for our wedding reception on 7/22/16. The event coordinator, Kali, was exceptional! We loved the food, decor and overall experience! All of our guests commented about the location and the food served, including the late night snacks. We were very pleased with this choice!

We had such an amazing time having our wedding at The Common Man Inn & Spa. I really can't express how much they exceeded our expectations and created a personalized experience for us. Kali was wonderful to work with. She is quick to respond to emails and always has a positive attitude. The planning was very straightforward. They did a beautiful job setting up the room and an excellent job ensuring the evening ran smoothly. Foster's Hall is just gorgeous and provided us the right amount of intimacy for a crowd of 85 people. The dance floor is stellar and we took full advantage of it with a live band. We also had our after party at Foster's Boiler Room and I highly recommend going that route. For only $1500 we were able to have the bar all to ourselves with unlimited snacks for all of our guests. We felt their prices (especially their Winter specials) were very reasonable. The spa is *amazing*. I had hair done by Nicole and makeup done by Nikki and both women did a phenomenal job and were a joy to work with. My husband and I both had massages and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the massage therapists. We very much enjoyed our hangover day in the hot tub, pool and sauna. We also stayed in the Camp room for four nights and holy crap was it AMAZING!!! So much character and the room is HUGE! Honestly, all of our guests loved their rooms and commented on how spacious and unique they were. We also ate at Foster's Boiler Room several times and thoroughly enjoyed the diverse menu and excellent drink selection. The only negative was there were a few little things not done right at the reception and there was some miscommunication on payment (we were going to split final payment between check and card only to find out when we were there that they don't accept out of state checks but hadn't told us that in advance). Nothing was a big deal though and overall we were thrilled with the staff and service we received.

The common man is a beautiful place to have a wedding. I am so happy I had mine there. The staff was so wonderful and helpful.

We had our wedding reception at the Greenhouse and it was amazing! The venue was beautiful and the service was excellent. It was a chilly evening so if you are planning an October event beware. The doors to the greenhouse were all wide open when we arrived so any heat that had been contained during the sunny day was quickly escaping. And food was served outdoors under a tent so many guests complained that it was cold. Obviously these are environmental factors and they did not dampen our evening but something to consider. We highly recommend the Common Man Inn and would do it all the same again!

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Italian Farmhouse and our wedding reception at the Greenhouse. The rehearsal dinner was great, once we got seated. Unfortunately, communication with the Farmhouse prior to the event was lacking in that different staff gave us different stories about the ability to make a reservation for 20. Once the manager fully understood the situation, he did take steps to accommodate us. Unfortunately, though our reservation was for 6pm we were not seated until 6:40pm. A great place to get dinner but not a great place for a large group on a timeline!

We wanted something very simple and Common Man was the best around for this. Their artisan sandwiches truly lived up to the name. They were delicious.

We actually had both our ceremony and reception at the Greenhouse at the Italian Farmhouse restaurant, which is managed by the Common Man Inn and Spa. We originally went to check out this venue because it was something different besides a country club or hotel that fit into our price range. When we saw the venue in person, it was more than we could have ever asked for. We chose to get married on the lawn out back and had the reception inside the greenhouse. The greenhouse is an amazing alternative to a tent- You have the feeling of being outside, but the elements don’t matter as much and it looks absolutely gorgeous, both day and night. Our coordinator, Sara, was fabulous and helped us plan every detail. And, as anyone who has eaten at a Common Man restaurant in NH before would know, the food was incredible! There are no tastings available, but don’t fret- simply dine at any of the Common Man restaurants and you will know how good the food is. All of the servers and bartenders were courteous, polite, and attentive- one of the bartenders even drove our bridesmaids and groomsmen back to the Inn when our shuttle (from another vendor) failed them! The Inn itself provided exceptional rooms for many of our family members and bridal party, and we booked the Cabin in the Woods- a little pricey, but absolutely worth every cent. Brides and grooms- do yourself a favor and book the cabin on Sunday night, too if you’re wedding is on Saturday night; you will not regret being able to have a little bit of alone time after all the people you were just with! My ONLY negative experience was with the people who worked in the spa booking hair appointments for my bridesmaids and myself. It seems as though our original appointments never made it into the system, and when I finally received a confirmation email (many weeks later), the times were nothing like what I thought I had booked. Two phone calls later and everything was finally resolved. Still an outstanding venue!!!!

First off let me say that Sara at the Common Man is one of their best assets. She is extremely professional, very detail oriented, organized, and thorough. She thought of all of those details we might have overlooked while planning. She even stepped up when our day of planner turned out to be a bust! She could certainly do day of planning as well as organizing the C-Man staff! She even made sure I got a piece of cake to take with us to our suite.
As for the rest of the C-man services they were also terrific. They started off with a cocktail hour, which they set up with out a problem. When my husband and I arrived at the venue everything was flowing with out a hitch, the set up looked amazing people were loving the spread of cheeses and Mediterranean finger food. Then when we arrived they started passing out the hot appetizers, they made sure to find my husband and I to make sure we got some as well. Then on cue they had the champaign ready on trays for the guests and handed it out with a smile. All of the waitstaff was amazing, so friendly, so professional, and on top of things. I used to work as a waitress in catering, and I can say that the servers working were really top notch and would hire any of them again. Especially the bartender who did an amazing job, it was just wine and beer with shots, but she made sure guests were happy and kept on-top of guest who may have partied a bit too much.
Since our wedding was in a barn, we went for a BBQ buffet fare, which at first glance doesn't sound that amazing. But sometimes when things are simple and done right it comes out great. The steak tips were perfectly cooked, the salmon was moist, and the mac and cheese was such a success that people are still raving to me about it!
To me food was a priority at my wedding, cause nothing is worse then bad food, and I can honestly say that the Common Man was well worth it, and I would hire them again for future events, and would recommend them to family and friends.

I cannot say enough positive comments about the Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth, NH. From the first moment we stepped into the inn, we had a feeling we'd get married there. It's warm, cozy and every single person working on the numerous occasions we've visited have been so friendly. When we eat in the restaurant we are always pleased and the night of our rehearsal dinner we were not disappointed. We even made sure to take the time eat on the night of our wedding because everyone was telling us how delicious the food was.

Kali helped make every moment of our wedding weekend go off without a hitch and for that we are so grateful. As the bride, I especially appreciated her timely responses to panicky emails and her positive "We can handle it" attitude.

In the salon, every one of my bridesmaids and the mothers felt special and were treated like queens. The whole salon staff was amazing.

This was the perfect place to have our wedding. I am so thankful for Kali and how much she helped us!

We had a great experience at The Common Man in Plymouth. Kali, the coordinator was amazing and very professional! The Greenhouse was a great facility and everyone loved it. The Foster's Hall room was very nice, and EVERYONE commented on how much they LOVED the food!

We both agree that they need new seats for the Greenhouse ceremony site. Green plastic chairs were used (mismatched, some square and some round edged chairs). We think it would have been much more elegant and aligned with the beauty of the Greenhouse if they had nice wood log or even painted white benches to use for the ceremony.

It also would have also been nice if they offered a discounted or free room for the bride and groom. Most other venues we looked at offered discounted or a free bridal suite. However, The Common Man seemed very separated about their rooms and venue -- deal with this person for the venue, deal with this person for the rooms. Upon check-in, the front desk didn't even realize we were there for our wedding, although we had handed them gift bags to go in the rooms of our guests.

Aside from those two minor details, we had a fantastic experience. Would recommend!!

Everything was great! We did a simple buffet style meal for our wedding, and I don't think there was a single person who did not go up for seconds. Many options to choose from, and everything on the menu was great - would certainly recommend!

The Common Man Inn is so beautiful with a very rustic NH feel in the Foster's Hall. We worked with several of their coordinators throughout the whole process, and all of them were helpful, nice, and professional. Some took a little longer to respond than others, but never an extra long time. They were very flexible and provided excellent service. Janet (our day-of coordinator) made my wedding day very smooth with no stress! All details were taken care of. My only complaint is not having a tasting available, the chicken marsala and au gratin potatoes were horrible, but thankfully the haddock, beef tenderloin, caesar salad, and caprese salad were delicious. We weren't too worried that they didn't have a tasting because we've eaten at many Common Man's over the years, but were disappointed that 1/3 of our food was almost inedible. However, their prices are much cheaper than most other places we checked out, so despite this, I would definitely recommend The Common Man Inn in Plymouth.

Liz was absolutely wonderful to work with. She will bend over backwards for you. They don't do taste testing there, but she had allowed us to test. We went there expecting to pay something and they gave us the COMPLETE meal (salad/bread/drinks/meat/veggies/potato) for FREE! Also, some things were changed at the LAST second and Liz still made it all come together. She was very kind and understanding. She didn't hound us, but she made sure we were relatively on schedule with the planning. The only thing that was negative (only in a small sense) was: the dinners presented during the reception were different than what we had taste tested. They were still the same dishes...just different cuts of steak and slightly different sauce on the chicken. It still tasted great, but if you are picky then make sure they KNOW.

Overall, we loved our wedding reception at the Common Man Inn. We had our actual ceremony off-site and then came to the Common Man Inn for the reception. Prior to the actual reception (months before), it seemed like they were a little unresponsive and a few weeks before our wedding someone accidentally told us we weren't booked for the wedding suite. So, we freaked out a little bit and then, after talking to three different people, they realized we were booked for the suite. Anyway, overall, I would say it's a very good value compared to other places (i.e., Meredith locations) and I would definitely recommend the place.

We had our wedding at Foster's Hall. It had plenty of space and the wait staff was excellent. All of our ceremony and reception decorations were set up by the staff so we didn't have to worry about it.

If we had to do it over again, we would definitely buy the extra hour for the reception hall, as our guests were still having a blast on the dance floor. Also, some of our guests wanted to move to the bar within the inn but were denied service out of the uncertainty for how much was served at the wedding.

Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would absolutely recommend this venue to start your "Happily Ever After."

Common Man did a fantastic job with the food at our wedding. Everything was delicious, fresh and served hot on-site. We couldn't have asked for a tastier meal! The servers and bartenders were very friendly and professional, and our guests loved the meal.

That said, there was a lot of confusion and back and forth up front when we were selecting our entree choices and serving style. We were working off of two menus that were provided to us and only after choosing our final entrees did we find out that they're not available for our type of event. We had also paid an extra fee to have an additional bartender at the reception that would be able to serve wine throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the catering team was understaffed and they ended up using that extra bartender we paid for to help with dinner service. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was something we paid for and confirmed and didn't end up receiving.

All in all, however, I would definitely use Common Man again for a future event.
