WOW! We absolutely loved working with Matt, Bex and Coral for our wedding. They had such a positive energy and vibe that channeled everywhere throughout the whole day.
We chose to work with Matt and his team mainly because we wanted a photographer that could really capture the whole day, candidly with edits that were bright/light, and airy. It was a bonus that Matt had already worked at our venue many times so he knew where to be and what backdrops were best. We booked Matt pretty early on during our planning as we wanted to be sure to secure a spot and we are so happy we did. From start to finish Matt was responsive, knowledgeable, and organized. On the day of our wedding, he went as far as surprising us with an extra shooter which gave us so many more photos than what we originally thought we were getting. We wanted him to capture the raw and emotional moments and interactions of our day and that's exactly what he delivered. We received so many compliments not only on him and his team and how they were everywhere so discretely but also on how incredible the actual photos were. We are still looking back at the pictures months later and find ourselves smiling because it takes us back to the wedding day. It has been nearly 6 months since our wedding day and Matt's name is still frequent in our house. We get to relive our favorite moments of the wedding every day through the collection of photos Matt and Annie gave us, and we regularly get compliments from our family and friends on our talented photographers. I met Matt at a wedding expo in San Luis Obispo where his enthusiasm for capturing memories and his love of detail caught my attention. Because we were having a destination wedding, Matt took the time to videochat to get to know us before we made our decision. He explained his philosophy behind his work--to provide photos that help his clients "rewind" to those moments and to document the details of the day like a story. Hiring Matt was an instant priority and one of the best decisions we made that day. Another review described him as a photo ninja and I couldn't agree more. Matt found incredible backdrops throughout the venue that make us feel we were married in so many different and beautiful settings. We warned him that we had large parties and large families and he expertly handled every situation making everyone comfortable and at ease. Not only did he take fantastic shots, he also gave everyone mini-modeling lessons to help our poses look magazine worthy. I would have given him five stars on just his presence at the wedding alone. But our final product was better than we imagined. We have about three times the photos we were promised and they all live up to his philosophy.
