Reverend Katherine was the last wedding vendor we hired and turned out to be one of the most exceptional! We initially planned to write our own ceremony and have a friend delivery it. But as we got closer, there was no clear friend choice. I was raised in Christian faith, and my husband is atheist. We both work in theatrical tech and design. I found myself seeking a religious aspect to our wedding inclusive of the queer acceptance and support that does not exist in the church I was raised in.

Reverend Katherine was the perfect fit! We met with her in-person two times. After the first meeting, we chose to book with her, and she provided a draft of a ceremony with supporting materials. We were able to digitally share and edit the draft. She offered a rehearsal meeting where we went over the finer details in-person. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early and coordinated with the individual friends involved in the ceremony. Immediately before the ceremony, she checked in with me and offered the support that I didn't even know I needed.

Overall, 10/10 would recommend. Reverend Katherine covers the religious, non-religious, and can bridge the gap between. If you want a unique, custom fit, and deeply personal ceremony - She is your person.

Katherine was amazing to work with! We were planning our distance from a wedding and she was flexible about having phone meetings, zoom meeting, and the one in person meeting we could have prior to our wedding. She was so organized and kept us on track in terms of understanding what we wanted in a ceremony, lots of great ideas about how to make our ceremony unique. She got to know us and added such great personal touches to our ceremony! Highly recommend for any couple!

We hired Rev. Katie on the recommendation of a friend when we realized we needed someone on short notice. She was everything we could have asked for and more! We had a vague idea of what we wanted (and some definite ideas of what we didn't want). She came up with a beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. She took the time to chat with us and get a sense of what mattered to us. She turned that into simple but beautiful vows that were absolutely amazing. On top of all of that, she was an incredible resource on during rehearsal and day of, making sure things were coordinated and working with the staff, DJ, videographer, etc. while we were getting ready. 100% would recommend!

We found Reverend Katherine on the wedding wire because we were looking for someone who could do a hand-fasting ceremony and loves queers. We met with her over breakfast and told her what we were looking for and a bit about ourselves. Reverend Katherine is kind, funny, flexible, and smart. She really personalized our ceremony for us, let us move parts around, and overall did everything she could to make it run as smoothly as possible. Our guests also thought she was great, and they are right!

We loved working with Reverend Katherine! She really worked with us to make sure our wedding felt special and unique to us as a couple, incorporating nerdy elements from video games, movies, and TV shows that we love. She was very communicative and easy to reach out to throughout the process too, which is always an ease on any bride's mind. Neither me nor my husband are religious and we didn't want a canned heteronormative wedding, so she also really helped our wedding feel special and fitting for our preferences. I knew instantly after reading through her website that Revered Katherine would be a perfect fit for us and she absolutely was!!
As "recovering Catholics" the last thing my partner and I wanted was a religious figurehead at our wedding to reinforce icky heteronormative expectations or beliefs. So it was really meaningful to have an officiant who was not just nonproblematic, but someone who actively upholds the same values of love and social justice that we do. We didn't want the ceremony to be religious but still wanted something solemn, sacred, and meaningful. Reverend Katherine helped us create our own unique ceremony (complete with Star Trek references and a handfasting) that was special to us while also being "respectful" to our still-Catholic families.
