Reverend Jon was very quick to respond to our request of needing an officiant. We didnt have much time, and he was extremely flexible and willing to work with us. He came to the ceremony well prepared and definitely gave a heart felt sermon. Could not be happier with how our day turned out and would recommend Rev. Jon to anyone!

Rev Jon was wonderful! He created a personalized ceremony for us that showed our personality and was just what we wanted. He met with us ahead of time to learn about who we were and then allowed us to review the concept he put together. He showed up early so as not to cause the bride (me) any anxiety :) and was courteous and professional while being fun and friendly. Thanks, Rev Jon!

Pastor Jon was very courteous with officiating my wedding I planned in less then a week even though I have known my groom for 6 years. I called him on a Thursday and he was able to play a part in my wedding day that following Saturday (April 3). We helped us to make our wedding more personal by including Psalms and letting us review it on Friday by email to see if we wanted to make changes. He was responsive and proactive to our inquires whether by phone, email or text.On my wedding day I was somewhat late arriving to my wedding and Pastor Jon assured me that he was at the location and to take my time, while my groom was calling to make sure I wasn't a runaway bride. LOL. He was very professional, patient, and sincere. The only thing I would change is that when I walked in I wanted to proceed with the wedding but we had to go over a few minor details before we got started. I told my groom to confirm everything before I walked down with my flower girl, but he didn't. I would definitely recommend him.

The Reverend Jon made our special day! Our vows that he wrote for us were wonderful. He traveled to meet us in Zebulon to officiate our service. I cannot say enough about The Kilted Reverend!!! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I know that this is due largely in part to our officiant. He was very helpful in planning our ceremony and even encouraged us to add our own personal touch. He knew that we were stressed out in the months preceding the wedding and never pushed us to make quick decisions or commit ourselves to something until we were 100% sure that is what we wanted. He provided us with several different ceremonies/vow options and allowed us to piece together our perfect ceremony.
We live in the mountains of NC, so he traveled to our home to practice with us and then again the next day for the ceremony. He even allowed us to enjoy our reception and returned to our home the next day for us to sign the marriage license. I thought this was a nice touch since we were being pulled in a million different directions from all of our family and friends. Since we left for our honeymoon after all of the festivities, I was concerned with how we were supposed to return our signed marriage license within the allotted time frame. He took care of this for us and we returned to find that our license was waiting for us at the courthouse (in larger cities, the register of deeds may actually mail them to you, but not up here in the hills).
I would recommend this officiant to ANYONE without a stitch hesitation!!!!!
