There are not enough wonderful things to be said about Patrick. He just brings an energy to the room that is confident and calm. He is a true professional and knows what he is doing. I think every guest I spoke to commented on how amazing our officiant was. Our wedding party loved him too! He wrote our ceremony and it was absolutely beautiful and tailored exactly how we wanted it. He is so thoughtful and sweet, he made sure I was calm blue water through the whole process!! He is the best in the business and I would recommend him to anyone!

Patrick is absolutely AMAZING. He is responsive, kind, and so easy to talk to. He wrote and performed the most beautiful ceremony. We have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Patrick Maloy! He made our ceremony so easy and worry free. He was able to customize the ceremony to exactly how we wanted it in terms of what readings and prayers we wanted and how we wanted everything to play out on the day. We had met with him a few weeks before the wedding to go over details and he helped us with every last detail and question that we had. Patrick had taken care of everything to the point where all we had to do was “just show up on time and I’ll help you through the rest”. We both felt very at-ease throughout the whole experience. We spoke to several officiants that just didn't feel right and/or were telling us how we had to do it. Patrick from day 1 continued to emphasize that our ceremony should be special and reflect us as a couple. He worked through planning with us and ensuring we were the focus of the day.

We hired Patrick about a year before our wedding; April 2023. I had a phone conversation with him first, and we talked for a while and I throughly enjoyed our entire conversation. He made me laugh and his mantra that he wants all his brides to be “Calm blue water” was felt the entire planning process with Patrick.

My fiancé and I didn’t want an overly religious ceremony, but keep some aspects in to appease my mom. And he had the perfect created ceremony for this. When my fiancé and I met with Patrick shortly before our wedding in person, he had us choose a few different options to make it more ourselves than seeming like two complete strangers on our wedding day. It seemed like Patrick was a family friend by how great he was to work with, keeping everyone laughing and overall calm and in the moment.

I can’t express my recommendation to hire Patrick enough! The rehearsal day was included in his price, and we’d use him a million more times if we needed.

Rev. Maloy made our ceremony beyond beautiful. He met up with us beforehand and helped us pick our vows and readings. He also gave me a list of items that need to be done in order to complete my name change!

We cannot recommend Patrick enough if you are looking for an officiant! He is very personable and great at making an situation stress-free and easy. We spoke with Patrick over email and the phone several time before meeting in person which we greatly appreciated since we booked him a year in advance. Once it came time to meet in person, we created our entire ceremony in just one hour! The process was a breeze and even fun! Our ceremony ended up being perfectly us and exactly what we wanted out of our big day. Patrick made everyone laugh at our rehearsal and made sure everyone felt comfortable with their roles and anything they had to say for the day of.
