As an ordained Unity and Interfaith minister, and the host of the The Spiritual Forum podcast, Reverend Carol Saunders offers couples over ten years of experience as a spiritual leader, minister, and teacher. She is dedicated to focusing on you and your partner’s love story, endeavoring to make each wedding ceremony a sacred, meaningful experience for every couple.

Reverend Carol Saunders services couples of all faiths, backgrounds, and orientations. She is happy to perform wedding ceremonies, rehearsals, destination weddings, vow renewals, and civil unions. Reverend Carol Saunders offers three wedding packages to suit the needs and budget of any couple. Her Simple Wedding package is designed for couples who require a simple, straightforward wedding ceremony and marriage license filing. Her Custom Wedding and Custom Plus Wedding packages allow for significant ceremony personalization, and the latter fully incorporates you and your future spouse’s specific love story. For all potential clients, she provides a complimentary initial consultation to discuss you and your partner’s story, and her approach to ceremony design. She is certified in the Prepare-Enrich pre and post-marital counseling program, and is happy to provide marriage coaching upon request.

Wedding Officiant

Meaningful

Our experience went well above our expectations. She listened to our intentions for the ceremony and helped to make the day meaningful and magical. She was an achor throughout, helping us to stay on track in the weeks leading up. We had a general feeling we wanted to create during the moment of transition, and she helped to make it a reality. Highly recommend!!

We could not have asked for a more perfect officiant for our wedding day in August! Rev. Carol was incredible from start to finish. From our very first meeting, she made us feel comfortable and supported. Since we were local we had the opportunity to meet her in person in advance which was so nice and it felt like she was truly interested in getting to know us and our story. She worked closely with us to personalize our ceremony and ensure we were incorporating elements that truly resonated with us and made it feel even more special and unique to us. Her warmth, professionalism, and calm demeanor was a joy to work with. She gave a ceremony that was heartfelt, meaningful, and so genuine. Many of our guests told us afterward how much they loved the ceremony. We are so grateful to Carol for making our wedding ceremony so special. Highly recommend!

The Perfect Officiant for our Special Day

A truly special ceremony

Rev. Carol made our wedding ceremony so special! She created a beautiful, customized ceremony that reflected who we are as a couple - it was completely authentic to us and our story. The perfect match

Carol was simply amazing. We knew we were in good hands at our initial meeting with Carol. She took the time to meet us and get to know us over coffee and we never looked back. Our correspondence with her leading up to the wedding put us at ease as we knew the structure and flow of the ceremony. She made things very clear for us. Her joyous and genuine personality shined through on our wedding day and everything went so smoothly. We cannot thank Carol enough for spending her NYE with us and setting the tone for a wonderful night. Our families loved getting to know her as well. Thank you Carol!

Best officiant ever!

Rev. Carol's officiant service was fantastic from start to finish. She is exceptionally thorough, responsive, and flexible. She has so many materials available to help you craft your ideal and highly personalized wedding ceremony. Rev. Carol provided options for readings, vows, ring exchange statements, and more, then allowed us to customize everything to create a ceremony that was perfect for us. We wanted a focus on life and spirituality, rather than traditional religion, and Rev. Carol provided just that. She also had my husband and me each fill out a detailed questionnaire about the other so she could get a sense of our relationship. She used our answers to create a super personal ceremony that included our unique love story. Rev. Carol doesn't just provide a typical ceremony with platitudes and generalizations about love or marriage that could be applied to any relationship. She really got to know who we are and how we feel about each other, then incorporated personal details the whole way through. That made it a really emotional, moving ceremony for us and our guests. There were very few dry eyes in the house! But we also laughed the entire time. It was a great combination of joyful and profound moments. I can't recommend Rev. Carol enough. Our whole wedding was great, but the ceremony is really the whole point of the day and ours could not have been more amazing thanks to her. :)
