Tldr: Oscar is a detailed, personable and experienced photographer that we'd highly recommend for wedding photography.

Oscar did more than photograph our wedding. He made sure we had a lovely first look location, private and away from everyone, and was practically a second coordinator, wrangling our bus driver to City Hall and helping us stay on schedule while practically shooting two sets of pictures in the limited time we had at SF City Hall.

I think his pictures speak for themselves. They really capture an ethereal quality to venues that almost feels like you're really there. We couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out.

Working with Oscar and his team was fantastic! From the very start, Oscar was extremely communicative, organized, and efficient. I really appreciated his positivity and the helpful support he gave me while planning the wedding, including the small but valuable pointers along the way. Even though the wedding day was very busy, he managed to make us laugh and truly enjoy the experience.

We hired Oscar to capture our SF City Hall wedding (March 2019) and again for our Indian ceremony (October 2019). I would say that he was our photographer, but he was SO MUCH MORE than that. For the City Hall wedding, he walked us through all the steps we'd need to take to prepare for the ceremony to make sure that we had all of our paperwork and knew exactly where to meet and who to bring. Of course, I couldn't eat much of a breakfast that morning and almost passed out during the photography session. Oscar saved the day by feeding me a granola bar - and still delivered beautiful photos where you couldn't tell that anything was amiss. Of COURSE we had to hire him for our other ceremony, and once again, Oscar acted as an extra wedding coordinator, advising us about the venue (he knew all the best spots to photograph us), getting ready timeline, transportation, hotel - you name it! When it's the morning of your wedding and your stress and nerves are at a high, you want someone in the room with you that you can trust and make you calm and relaxed. I didn't want my mom or bridesmaids - just Oscar. Hire him, you won't regret it. And, yes, our pictures came out amazing!

Oscar did such an AMAZING job at our wedding! Leading up to our big day, we had good communication over email/phone and met in person to finalize/tune our schedule. He was very knowledgeable of a typical wedding+reception timeline, and helped walk us through in detail what to expect. On our wedding day, we both had fun working with Oscar and his assistant. They did a wonderful job capturing everything, from throughout the ceremony and down to the reception decor details. We are very pleased with the photos we received back. I can honestly recommend Oscar to anyone wanting to capture and remember their special day.

I ran across Red Eye Collection as a referral from my wedding venue, and I really liked their work right away. The brightness or emotion you see in their pictures really caught my eyes. I was in contact with Oscar who was very helpful with the contracting process for our September 2019 wedding and also for scheduling of our engagement shoot. Just this past weekend we had our engagement photo session with Alicia who was AMAZING! I knew I was going to love the pictures the moment she stopped to fix my hair and our outfits before we took our first picture of the day. I could tell she was a perfectionist and was going to to do everything she could for the pictures to turn out great. Alicia was extremely nice and patient with our awkward selves :) She had brilliant ideas for places, background, lighting and poses for pictures, and she was also honest about what would look good and what wouldn't. A short 4 days later we received our pictures and we LOVE them! They turned out better than I expected. I'm looking forward to using the pictures on our save the dates cards and to working with Alicia again on our wedding day. It put my heart at ease to know my wedding pictures are going to be perfect! I love that they can take us even with such short notice! We had our wedding on January 2nd and still made sure that even with an early morning SF city hall wedding, we had a great photo session. I am so glad Oscar was our photographer for our city hall wedding! We never took professional pictures before and are from out of town so I was a little nervous at first. Oscar made us feel at ease right away. He was quick to response to my initial inquiry and was very patient with all the questions I had before the big day.

On the big day, Oscar was there as scheduled. It so nice having him with us as he knew the process and the city hall inside out; he made the wedding event goes by very smoothly.

Oscar did our engagement photos in September 2017 at Lands End and our wedding photos in September 2018 at The Brazilian Room. We could have not have been happier with the experience and the end product. 1. PROFESSIONAL - Oscar was very easy to communicate with! He always responded promptly and was willing to address any questions or concerns we had. At our first meeting, he was very informative, direct, and full of personality. You can definitely tell he's a pro!

2. FUN - We had such a great time shooting with Oscar! We're not great at being in front of the camera but there was no lull or awkwardness during the shoot because of his assertive and fun personality. He also tells you how to adjust your body/face to make sure you look good in the photos which is a huge plus!

3. EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE - On our wedding day, the boys could not figure out how to put on their boutonnieres so I texted Oscar to see if he can help since he was meeting up with the boys first to hide the groom for our first look. He immediately said NP and when I arrived with the girls, the boys were ready, the groom was hidden, and he already had the whole first look process planned out.

4. GORGEOUS PHOTOS (obviously the most important part) - we just received our photos in the 4-6 weeks post wedding window just like he promised and we couldn't be happier!! He has a great eye and definitely knows how to use natural lighting!
