If you are in-the-know in Tucson, one must truly be exceptional to be on the preferred vendor list at Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch, and Fernando is the go-to man.

Everything Fernando does as a DJ is carefully curated:

-Our wedding playlist from his cell phone app where I could make notes on when to play a certain song, or if I wanted feedback.

-Equipment: Fernando always had at least one backup plan, and invests in quality. This is ESPECIALLY important if you are going to have a summer wedding in the desert.

-Dedication to excellence: Outside of weddings Fernando is always honing his skills and developing his craft.

-Honesty: Fernando would always tell me when something was not a good idea, or what could make something better and over the top. I relied on his judgement calls outside of music because he is familiar with the vendor market, and how weddings are year round.

-The Suits: Move over James Bond. Fernando has better threads and creds.

My guests and family could not stop saying how much they loved how Fernando kept the music going throughout the night, including those who claimed they were bad dancers and managed to get on the dance floor with PASSION.

Fernando was fabulous from start to finish! A lot of the DJs we had looked into seem to be frequently booked, but didn't have the same obvious dedication that Raza Entertainment has. Even our initial meeting was great, in an office space specifically designed to highlight the kind of energy that will be provided at the event. Fernando was really responsive via email throughout the entire process and even when we had to postpone he was still so committed. The app he uses to build the music schedule was great - even though we did not utilize it as much as we probably should have - and helped us feel confident that the timeline was going to go as planned. The coolest part about the app is that you can put comments (or instructions like I did) for specific songs/time periods. He scheduled a final call with us to go over the music and make sure we had discussed all of the songs we absolutely wanted to be played and he clarified any questions he had about what we wrote for certain things like bridal party entrance. I think that beyond the planning portion, the absolute best part of the event was the fact that Fernando and his team were able to read the room perfectly. Sometimes you go to a wedding or event where the DJ clearly already put together a playlist beforehand and sticks with it even when the crowd is clearly not into it - that is DEFINITELY not the vibe with the Raza team. There wasn't a single song during the free dancing that the dance floor was empty and people had to be prompted to go dance and people even got up to dance a little bit during dinner. Working with Fernando was one of our favorite parts of the wedding planning process - from the very beginning, he was professional, energetic, fun, helpful, and great at communicating. Our dance floor was absolutely packed for about 3 full hours of nonstop dancing and partying! He created an amazing timeline that allowed our wedding to flow perfectly from ceremony, to cocktail hour, through the reception, and his sound and setup were phenomenal. A week later our guests are still telling us how great the music was, and I know this will continue for months to come because Fernando helped make our wedding unforgettable! We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Fernando and his team and we give him our highest recommendation. Raza is the best of the best!

Fernando is the man! If you have just started looking for a DJ or you are deciding between some options, look no further! DJ Raza is the best in the business!!! There is a reason he is in top of every vendor list!

Pay him whatever he asks, don’t give it a second thought and you will be getting a bargain. With Fernando you are getting much more than a DJ or what you think a DJ should be. From the first meeting to the last, it always felt like catching up with a friend. While you are getting to know each other he is also sizing up your likes and dislikes, gauges your personality, offers suggestions and advice, listens and works with you to achieve what you want. We had the luxury of picking great people that all worked really well together but Fernando was at the heart of it all. He coordinated with the venue, the decorator, the photographer, the videographer, and officiant. He even got us an amazing photo booth that we had discussed but was not even a service he was offering. It was straight off the red carpet and was a huge hit at the wedding! He went above and beyond all of our expectations and we did not make it easy with special songs that were shorttened or rearranged/mixed, changing our minds, and not to mention working with us through the whole pandemic. He organized the timeline with us and really took the time to help us get exactly what we wanted. Everything was so well organized that all we had to do the day of the wedding was have fun! His equipment is all top notch and he helped make our wedding an amazing night! First class all the way!!!

Dj Raza by far exceeded our expectations. Planning/ rescheduling a wedding during a pandemic definitely had its challenges. Having Dj Raza through the process was such a blessing and a treat. He was so professional, very fun and kept our guest on the dance floor.

Hiring Raza Entertainment was the best decision we made for our wedding! Fernando has such great energy and that definitely comes through in his work. He had everyone up and dancing throughout our wedding. However, he’s more than just entertainment. Literally ONE WEEK before our wedding our photographer essentially cancelled and Fernando was the first person we reached out to. Within 10 minutes he had a list of three wonderful photographers for us to reach out to that he had already made sure were available. I will always suggest anyone planning an event that will use a DJ to hire him.

Our wedding would not have been the same without Raza Entertainment! Fernando has a GIFT!! He made us feel so special throughout the entire process.
