Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort

An immaculate and amazing hotel with equally as immaculate and amazing staff, chefs, pastry chefs, bartenders, coordinators (special thanks to Karen and Alicia for the help!) and bellhops. We had our wedding here and besides the venue being heartstoppingly awe inspiring, the A+ effort of all staff made not just our wedding an amazing experiences, but also made sure all our guests needs were met. Also our rooms and views were astounding. Whatever you wish to do, whether a wedding, a romantic retreat or just to disconnect from city life, Hacienda Del Sol has got to be on your list.

Hacienda Del Sol was the first place my husband and I looked at when planning our wedding and looked no further: the venue is absolutely gorgeous, which would have done it right there, but Karen Connors and her staff were beyond amazing. We had a specific idea for our dinner and Karen worked with us to make sure it was all exactly what we wanted, and when I tell you the food was delicious, please know we're still hearing our guests rave about it! That, and the entire staff at the hotel (Jasmine, Dulce, we're looking at you!) were just so kind and helpful--making reservations was easy, checking in was easy, and the attentiveness to what we needed/wanted was above and beyond anything we've ever experienced. I can't recommend HDS enough--they made our wedding magical! Thank you!!

Hacienda del Sol was a dream wedding venue, I cannot recommend it enough. Working with Amanda and Greta was such a great experience during the planning process and their entire team on the day was incredible. We were a covid couple and Amanda worked with us to reschedule and make sure we were able to still celebrate the way we wanted to. We don't live in Tucson but the whole team was super helpful in scheduling tastings and walk throughs when it was convenient for us. The team was also super helpful in making sure we had enough rooms for all our out of town guests. Communication throughout the entire process was great. The venue is absolutely beautiful - your guests will be blown away and your pictures will turn out amazing. We are an LGBTQ couple and we were treated with the utmost respect and dignity throughout the entire weekend. Highly, highly recommend having your wedding at HDS.

Our wedding at Hacienda Del Sol was nothing less than magical. Greta and Amanda with the event team are absolutely amazing and made sure we had everything we needed and the day was amazing. Absolutely worth every penny.

My small COVID-era wedding was a dream at this beautiful, stunning venue! Can't say enough good things about Hacienda del Sol. I planned our wedding last minute and long-distance, in just about six weeks, and was thrilled that it was available. The wedding events coordinator Amanda was so nice and helpful and you can tell she really knows what she is doing, even suggested a wedding timeline and stepped in to hit "play" on my walking-down-the-aisle music. We held the wedding on a Sunday, and due to COVID, were able to have a scaled-down guest list with just 17 people, which greatly reduced the price versus the average here. Amanda was also very helpful with letting me request socially-distanced tables for each household in the banquet room and getting rid of one table after one cancellation was no problem. The room we stayed in, a Hacienda room, blew any expectations I had out of the water and was an amazing place to get ready in. The food was delicious, and so was the cake!

We had our wedding at Hacienda Del Sol on 2.15.20 and it was absolutely perfect! During our time planning, we had initially started out with Joelle and found her to be very difficult to get ahold of, but after a few months she left HDS. We then began working with Amanda, and she is exceptional! I am so happy that we ended up having Amanda, she was SUPER responsive and extremely detailed in all of our communication. HDS provided a tasting with Chef Ryan, which was very fun and delicious. Tatiana, our server for the tasting, was so sweet and remembered us each time we were back. We had our rehearsal dinner at The Grill in a private dining space, and they customized a menu for us and it was the perfect start to the weekend. On the day of the wedding, everything got set up smoothly behind the scenes and we were able to relax while getting ready. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour in the outer courtyard, the views were stunning and the bar service was super quick. For 65 guests, there was never a line to get a drink. I wish I would have been told that patrons of the restaurant would be walking right through our cocktail hour, it was pretty distracting at one point and felt not so intimate. Once we moved into the inner courtyard for dinner, food came out with just the right flow and everything was delicious, as it was during the tasting. Throughout the full day, Amanda was onsite and ready to help with any of our questions. I highly recommend that the bride and groom upgrade to the Catalina Suite! We were able to host guests checking in to stop in for a drink and there was tons of space for getting ready with the girls and a full hair and makeup team. Our guests particularly loved staying on the same site of the wedding and all the personal touches that HDS offers. HDS made our entire weekend, from start to finish, feel magical.

We couldn't have asked for a better staff/service for our venue location. Early on in the planning phases, I worked with Francis and Joelle; however, they left HDS in June and in come Amanda and Laura. We couldn't have asked for a better team with these amazing women. They were so responsive to our emails and also worked directly with my mother in law to set up a a private event in the pool area Friday before the wedding. The day of our wedding, Amanda and Laura were there and ready to help with any of our needs. They worked together with all of our vendors and day of coordinator to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend HDS !

My overall experience with Hacienda was really positive. When I first started planning my wedding I was working with Francis and Joelle. They were nice, but very hard to get a hold of. About 4 months before my wedding I was notified that they both were leaving and that Laura and Amanda were coming on board. The two of them are rockstars! I met with Amanda to go over everything to make sure nothing was missed in the transition. I then met with Laura to confirm the set up. I frequently was in contact with them over the next several months leading up to the wedding and I always got a response within 24-48 hours. Sometimes I would get a response within hours which helped me greatly. They really took the pressure off of me and I didn't have to worry about the little stuff. I also had my rehearsal dinner at Hacienda and Laura worked with my mother-in-law. There were a couple hiccups, but Laura quickly and professionally fixed them before anyone knew. The day of the wedding went smooth and we had a wonderful time. There were a couple minor things that really didnt effect the wedding in a negative way, but when I told them about it they were receptive and appreciated the feedback so they could make sure it didnt happen to another bride. Laura and Amanda are true professionals and they are there to make the bride and groom feel special and worry free on the big day! We couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue.

We planned to go to the restaurant after our quick ceremony, spoke with the front desk and they allowed us to get married on the property as it was only us and 2 witnesses. Jay at the front desk was beyond amazing and helpful, he even stayed for the ceremony and rang the wedding bell. He truly went above and beyond for us. Even arranged a little surprise at dinner for us. The grounds were gorgeous, but the sunset was amazing. Perfect spot for photos.
