My fiancé and I didn't want the typical hotel wedding food. We wanted a menu that our guests would be familiar with and would also rave about. When searching for a caterer, we stumbled upon Raymonde during a conversation with a separate vendor. When I went to meet with Raymonde, I hired her without even tasting her food. Sound crazy? I know. She had such a calming personality. She expressed concerns for my budget, made recommendations about what I could do with or do withoutt, what the guests would enjoy, and especially what my future husband would like! She took time to speak with me as if she was advising someone really close to her. I had no idea what the meal would taste like and guest what? My guests LOVED it! Raymonde also made our cake, a traditional Haitian cake, which was an absolute must at our wedding. I would recommend Ray's Cakes and Catering for any bride who wants non traditional wedding food with spice and flavor.

My family and I have done business with this vendor for years, but it was always for holiday/birthday cakes. For my wedding cake, they went above and beyond for a very reasonable price. Admittedly, I didn't have a set idea of what I wanted. I just knew that I wanted something tasty and attractive. Ray's Cakes and Catering definitely delivered.

I had a three-tier cake, and each tier had a different style. I provided the topper, and the wrapping/casings for the cupcakes. Not only was the cake very beautiful, but it was extremely tasty. (It was a plain Haitian-style pound cake with rum-raisin filling--which is how cakes come standard.) My guests had nothing but the highest acclaim for the cake!
