Edda's Cake Designs

We ordered a cake at the South Miami location for our May 2021 wedding. They were great to work with and had a wonderful experience when we came into the store to do the tasting. The staff is very nice and we had no problems getting the cake delivered to the venue (as I know of!). They called to confirm the number of guests and cake the week of the wedding which was very convenient for me! The cake itself was beautiful and tasted great! We did marble, vanilla rum and key lime with white buttercream frosting. The guests all really enjoyed the cake and got a lot of compliments on it!

It was an absolute pleasure working alongside Eddas! From a fellow vendor’s perspective, their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail were top-tier. They were punctual, respectful of the timeline, and had such a calming, positive presence that made the entire day flow effortlessly.

Not only were they a dream to collaborate with on-site, but the quality of their work speaks for itself. Their ability to capture genuine moments without disrupting the flow of the day is a true gift. It’s clear they care deeply about their clients and the experience they deliver.

Edda’s Cakes provided the cake for our wedding and it was both beautiful and delicious. We did vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry filling and everyone loved it!! The tasting they provided really helped us in our decision and they talked us through how we wanted the final cake design to look. They have a book with the available designs, so it was easy to envision exactly what the cake would look like. And let me tell you, it looked EXACTLY like the photo!

They were super helpful in answering the many questions that we had later down the road. They even accommodated us making a last minute change to our order a week before the event! Overall, Edda’s provided a stress-free experience with a beautiful and delicious cake. Thank you so much to the whole team there, you guys were awesome.

We did a lot of research on wedding cake vendors and spoke to a few. As a same sex couple, planning a wedding over 1,400 miles away, we wanted to make sure the cake designer and baker could create a beautiful and tasty wedding cake for us and our guests. They nailed it! We connected with Madelyn and Edda’s Cake Design, Doral. She was very easy to work with and scheduled a cake tasting for us a few months prior to ur wedding. We flew into Miami and met with Madelyn. She had several samples of cake of different flavors for us to try. My then fiancé, now wife, both chose the Puerto Rican Rum flavored cake. It was delicious. The guests loved it! Madelyn even added a cascading flower to our wedding cake prior to delivery. We had our wedding planner add the topper once it arrived to the reception venue. Edda’s Cake Design also make great desserts. We ordered pecan pie tarts, tiramisu, fruit tarts, flan, and guava mini cheesecake for our dessert table. Edda’s Cake Design, Doral made us the best wedding cake. Thanks Madelyn for all your help!

We couldn't have been happier with our wedding cake! The rum cake with vanilla frosting was a delightful choice – each bite was rich, moist and creamy with a flavorful frosting. The baker executed our vision flawlessly, creating a stunning masterpiece that not only looked beautiful but tasted absolutely divine. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. We highly recommend this talented baker.

We had pineapple cake from Edda's for our wedding on Jan. 14, 2024 at the Cocoplum. It was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was commenting on the unique flavor, including one person who said it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. I can't wait to eat the top layer on our anniversary :) Our entire experience went smoothly, from our tasting to our wedding day.

The cake was amazing! They do a cake testing where try the different flavors and you also explain the idea for the design. They will guide you in selecting a feasible design that looks beautiful, taste good and doesn't go out of budget. It was really tasty, so happy with our cake!
