Great Wedding Cake!
We ordered a cake at the South Miami location for our May 2021 wedding. They were great to work with and had a wonderful experience when we came into the store to do the tasting. The staff is very nice and we had no problems getting the cake delivered to the venue (as I know of!). They called to confirm the number of guests and cake the week of the wedding which was very convenient for me! The cake itself was beautiful and tasted great! We did marble, vanilla rum and key lime with white buttercream frosting. The guests all really enjoyed the cake and got a lot of compliments on it!

It was an absolute pleasure working alongside Eddas! From a fellow vendor’s perspective, their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail were top-tier. They were punctual, respectful of the timeline, and had such a calming, positive presence that made the entire day flow effortlessly.
Not only were they a dream to collaborate with on-site, but the quality of their work speaks for itself. Their ability to capture genuine moments without disrupting the flow of the day is a true gift. It’s clear they care deeply about their clients and the experience they deliver.

Everyone loved it!!
Edda’s Cakes provided the cake for our wedding and it was both beautiful and delicious. We did vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry filling and everyone loved it!! The tasting they provided really helped us in our decision and they talked us through how we wanted the final cake design to look. They have a book with the available designs, so it was easy to envision exactly what the cake would look like. And let me tell you, it looked EXACTLY like the photo!
They were super helpful in answering the many questions that we had later down the road. They even accommodated us making a last minute change to our order a week before the event! Overall, Edda’s provided a stress-free experience with a beautiful and delicious cake. Thank you so much to the whole team there, you guys were awesome.

Awesome Service. Beautiful and Delicious Wedding Cake
We did a lot of research on wedding cake vendors and spoke to a few. As a same sex couple, planning a wedding over 1,400 miles away, we wanted to make sure the cake designer and baker could create a beautiful and tasty wedding cake for us and our guests. They nailed it! We connected with Madelyn and Edda’s Cake Design, Doral. She was very easy to work with and scheduled a cake tasting for us a few months prior to ur wedding. We flew into Miami and met with Madelyn. She had several samples of cake of different flavors for us to try. My then fiancé, now wife, both chose the Puerto Rican Rum flavored cake. It was delicious. The guests loved it! Madelyn even added a cascading flower to our wedding cake prior to delivery. We had our wedding planner add the topper once it arrived to the reception venue. Edda’s Cake Design also make great desserts. We ordered pecan pie tarts, tiramisu, fruit tarts, flan, and guava mini cheesecake for our dessert table. Edda’s Cake Design, Doral made us the best wedding cake. Thanks Madelyn for all your help!

Delicious cake
We couldn't have been happier with our wedding cake! The rum cake with vanilla frosting was a delightful choice – each bite was rich, moist and creamy with a flavorful frosting. The baker executed our vision flawlessly, creating a stunning masterpiece that not only looked beautiful but tasted absolutely divine. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. Our guests' favorite cake ever
We had pineapple cake from Edda's for our wedding on Jan. 14, 2024 at the Cocoplum. It was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was commenting on the unique flavor, including one person who said it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. I can't wait to eat the top layer on our anniversary :) Our entire experience went smoothly, from our tasting to our wedding day.

Amazing cake!
The cake was amazing! They do a cake testing where try the different flavors and you also explain the idea for the design. They will guide you in selecting a feasible design that looks beautiful, taste good and doesn't go out of budget. It was really tasty, so happy with our cake!

Great Experience!
My husband’s family loves cake more than anything, and they LOVED our wedding cake!!! We did a cake tasting at Edda’s in Doral to choose our flavors (chocolate and marble). The staff was friendly and professional, the process was simple, and the prices were reasonable. They also made us a gluten-free cake for our guests who are allergic to gluten! The cake came on time, looked beautiful on our wedding day, and it was delicious!!! We highly recommend Edda’s Cake Designs!!

Stunning and absolutely delicious!
I’ve known for years that if I got married in Miami, my cake would come from Edda’s. 30 years ago, when Edda was working out of her home, she made my parent’s wedding cake. Last month, Edda’s made mine. Our guests raved about this cake. I had some come up to me just to ask what kind of cake it was and where it was from! It was gorgeous and incredibly delicious. We went with the classic vanilla rum which is my absolute favorite! The cake looked exactly as I imagined it to! Thank you for helping make our special day absolutely scrumptious!

Lovely wedding cake

Beautiful & Delicious Wedding Cake
An absolute Miami legend. Her cakes and her place among Miami food giants are at the very top. When we saw that Edda was one of the vendors on our venue’s list, it was an absolute no-brainer for us. We knew we would choose her, but that didn’t stop us from going to her bakery to try all of the delicious samples. You know, for scientific purposes. The cake came out beautiful and it was so delicious. We chose the guava and cream cheese flavor for the top tier and the vanilla rum with buttercream for the bottom 2 tiers. Ugh, so good.

Great attention to detail - beautiful and delicious!
Edda's Cake Designs is a South Florida classic that me and my family have used for as long as I can remember.
For my wedding, Edda's Cake Designs was included with my package at The Mayfair at Coconut Grove.
When it was time for our cake tasting, we visited the location in South Miami and was helped by Sandra. Sandra did everything she could to make sure we were happy with the flavor and style of cake.
Our cake was both delicious and beautiful on the night of our wedding! Can't wait to work with them again.

Intimate Wedding 9/14/2020
Edda's Cake Design works closely with our wedding venue and was included in our intimate wedding package. We knew absolutely nothing about this bakery and put full faith into our wedding coordinator when they raved about how delicious Edda's cakes were. Well we can now say that we were honored to have our wedding cake from Edda's! During our cake tasting, we decided fairly quickly that Edda's signature flavor, Vanilla Rum cake was our hands down favorite. We also decided on their vanilla buttercream icing and raspberry filling. Wow! What a combination that was! Everyone of our guests loved the cake and some asked to take a piece or two home. We can't wait for the next excuse to have their cake!

Our venue was Deer Creek Golf Club and in this package the cake was included and they gave us a few cake vendors and we went to Eddas Cake and we were not disappointed!! Edda's was one of the preferred Vendor's through our wedding package at The Palms and I am glad they were. The cake was delicious. We ordered a three tier vanilla rum cake with one layer filled with pineapple and the other two filled with dulce de leche. It was excellent. So many people complimented how great the cake tasted. I was so happy with how it turned out.

Edda's Cake was not only recommended by our Catering Manager, but also by our Decorator and day-of planner, neither of whom had ever met. And they were right. Edda's Cake Design Miami accommodated for 4 additional guests during our tasting, helped us select the perfect cake, and even called a couple of days before the ceremony to confirm the final guest count.
We couldn't be happier. It was absolutely delicious and our guests loved it.

Great experience
I’m Haitian and Edda’s cake was definitely super close to how our cake taste like. They allowed us to taste their cake before booking them. We were able to taste so many different flavors such as vanilla rum, piña colada, orange and etc. it was the best decision we made. By the way, it taste super good which made a major impression.

Grooms Cake

Beautiful and delicious
We were given two options with our hotel package for our wedding, and we went with Eddas. We got a naked tiered cake that was coconut and marbled alternated by tier. We have gotten so many compliments about how delicious our cake was and asking where we got it from. We cannot recommend Edda's highly enough. Not only was it moist and delicious, but the customer service was excellent. We had so much fun at the tasting and they were super affordable (we only ended up paying 25$ to upgrade to an extra tier of coconut outside of the hotel package). I would absolutely do all my cake shopping there, it was a great experience. I would recommend to anyone getting married in South Florida.

We have only heard positive things about Edda’s from everyone we know and our experience was also exceptional. I am extremely meticulous and detail oriented and had a very specific idea I wanted for our wedding cake. Ivonne went out of her way to ensure that the colors and the look of the cake matched our linens and décor. When we saw the cake the day of our wedding, we were blown away! It was truly the centerpiece of our wedding and far exceeded our expectations… Oh and of course we went with their famous vanilla rum and it was delicious!

INCREDIBLE cakes! My husband and I aren't even cake people and we LOVED these cakes. They made exactly the style I wanted and the flavors were incredible. The only sad thing was that we didn't even get a chance to eat the cake at our wedding because the night just flew by! Our guests loved it and the one bite we did have was just amazing. I can't wait for our first anniversary so we can eat that top tier. YUM!

We had Edda’s desserts for all of our wedding events and I couldn’t be happier. The cake tasting process was efficient and she even let me take some home for my mom to taste. There were so many possible flavors! Prices were reasonable and the delivery was on time. Our wedding cake was simple but largely what I’d asked for - the dozens of other desserts were delicious. But this is hearsay from my guests because there weren’t any left by the end of the night! I froze our wedding cake and ate it the week after and for some reason, it tasted even better then. Loved everything about the PPines office and will be ordering from them for family events for years to come.

I worked with Vanessa at the Sunset location and I was so pleased and impressed with her creativity and service. They customized my wedding cake to resemble my wedding dress and it was BEAUTIFUL. It also tasted delicious! Additionally, we hired them to bring chocolate chip cookies as a favor for guests, which were a hit! I highly recommend Edda's, they are wonderful to work with and you will not be disappointed with the final product.

My cake was amazing and the service was even better. I made my appointment very early in the planning process but everything was perfect on the day of the wedding. The details were everything that I imagined. I would highly recommend using Edda's Cake Designs for your big day. Mayfair Hotel and Spa works with Edda's Cake Designs for your cake and I think you had the option of selecting between two vendors for your cake. If you are undecided between the two, I hope this review leads you more towards Edda's. Ha! They were great.

The cake tasting was my favorite wedding vendor appointment. I have gotten birthday cakes from Edda's for years, and intended to check out all of the four bakers included in our wedding package. I went to Edda's first, and did not go to any others. The woman who helped us was friendly, but gave us time and space to discuss and enjoy the tasting. She worked with us to help me stay within my budget and still be able to have what I wanted. They called one week before my wedding and again a few days before to confirm everything. My cake was beautiful, delicious, exactly what they promised, and the process was stress- free.

The baker set to do the cake in our venue package backed out a month before the wedding, but Edda's stepped in and did a last minute tasting. We were more than happy to book them after that. Our wedding cake was delicious on the outside and inside. We asked for a naked vanilla rum extra moist cake and it was to perfection, just as we expected it to be. I took the base and the cake topper that I had bought for it 5 days before the wedding day and they were okay with that. At the tasting they provided us with all the cake flavors and fillings they had and we felt more than pleased and very comfortable to choose what we liked. The staff was amazingly wonderful. Our cake was DELICIOUS!!! And BEAUTIFUL!!! Edda's cake's had a deal with our vendor so that the only payment I had to make was for any extra portions beyond the number of guests coming. (I ordered extra portions so people could have seconds :-) I ordered one of their buttercream cakes. They delivered it on time and with only a few days to go I was able to adjust how many servings I wanted. They did allow us to have a free sampling session. I highly recommend Edda's!!!

YUM! I got married at Deer Creek Golf Club and Edda's was one of my options for cakes. After seeing the reviews, we chose even before a tasting! The tasting was so yummy, and there were so many different options for flavors. Depending on the size of your wedding, you can also pick multiple flavors which we loved. We were able to then look through a book and decide on design. It was so simple. Fast forward to the wedding, our cake was absolutely gorgeous and perfect. Also, sooooo delicious. Multiple guests came up to us and said it was the best wedding cake they've ever had (which I agree :) ) Absolutely choose Edda's for your wedding cake, you will not be disappointed!

From the day of our cake tasting to the day of the wedding, Miriam at Edda's cake was an absolute pleasure. Our wedding Cake was absolutely amazing and so delicious, I'm still sad I only got one slice! They did such a great job and it looked exactly like the picture in my head. Our cake was half superhero themed & half "normal" elegant wedding cake. The design they created completely fit the vision we had and complemented the aesthetic of our wedding. It has almost become a family tradition for us so our decision to have Edda's cake at our wedding was a no brainer. We were completely satisfied with the taste and design of the cake. It was so fresh and delicious, we had wedding cake for 3 days after our wedding. I recommend Edda's to couples looking for a variety of equally delicious and fresh flavors to choose from and affordable pricing.
There are plenty of cake designers that make beautiful cakes, but hardly any taste as fresh as Edda's. Our family and guests will continue to choose Edda's for all our future celebrations!

We used Edda's Cakes for our wedding and it was so delicious! We had the vanilla rum and chocolate layers and they were able to incorporate our wedding colors into the cake that made it look so nice and unique! Thank you for the delicious wedding cake!

We worked with Grace at the South Miami location. She was very nice and helpful in selecting the cake we had in mind. She even helped us incorporate personalized details like the lace design of my wedding dress to be used as the lace pattern on the cake and the monogram letter they made for us in gold color was even more beautiful than we had imagined! The guests also mentioned that the cake was delicious! Im extremely happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

Our cake was amazing!!! It was so good and it has been super hard for me not to take out the top tier of our wedding cake and eat it!! We had amaretto cake with dulce de leche filling YUM!

My experience was to say the least a positive one. Read some negative reviews so I had my reserve about having my nieces engagement cake made there, but the customer service I had was amazing. Yvon and Vanessa where wonderful. It was a pleasure dealing with them considering I spoke to Yvon 10 times, I can be a little undecisive. She helped me. Gave me great ideas and the cake was a hit with friends and family. Really considering getting my nieces wedding cake done there. Such talented people work there. Love them and wil continue to go there for my cakes. Thank you so much for your help in putting together such a masterpiece.

Edda's Cake are my favorite cakes. I was happy to know that I could choose Edda's for my wedding cake through my venue. They were very helpful in helping with the decorations and the different flavors I wanted in each layer of the cake. They also helped me pick the perfect cake for the groom. I love their cakes and great service. I had the most wonderful experience with one of Eddas employees. I can be very difficult to deal with, I'm picky I will admit and this young lady Ivon went the extra mile to help me in creating the most beautiful cake for my niece. To say the least my niece loved her cake. I recommend this place to everyone. Sometimes its a full house there but be patient and I can promise you great customer service and great quality cakes everytime.

Edda's Cake Design was the preferred vendor for my venue. From the moment we made our appointment, staff was really pleasant to work with. WE really enjoyed the tasting they provided before our wedding to choose the flavor of our wedding cake. Both my husband and I liked the orange flavored cake. And we were extremely happy with our choice. Our wedding cake was super moist, Delicious & Amazing!!! Highly recommend Edda's Cake Design Orange flavored cake.

From the tasting, to the cake decorations, to the day of our wedding, we absolutely loved Edda's Cake. It was delicious! We received a lot of compliments from our guests saying the cake was amazing. The service and the attention during the tasting was great, as well as throughout all the days leading to our wedding day. Plus it looked beautiful and it was decorated just as I imagined it.
