My wedding was in Kerrville, TX and my husband and I tried several bakeries in Kerrville and Fredericksburg, including one bakery in Fredericksburg that everyone said is the best bakery in the area.
Well, I'm glad we went ahead and tried Rails because they were more affordable AND their cakes tasted SO much better than all the other places we tried! We were so pleasantly surprised and still get compliments on how good our cakes were. We had a plain vanilla, with chocolate mousse icing, chocolate with vanilla icing and the star, spice cake with cream cheese icing (it was AWESOME).

I highly recommend giving Rails a try, they're easy to work with, affordable, and their cakes are delicious!

Rails was an awesome venue for our Reception. Melissa, was very sweet and accommodating. Melissa and her team guided me through the process and acted like wedding coordinators. I would recommend them to anyone for banquet needs and for lunch/dinner. The food taste and presentation was outstanding. The waiters were also above expectation.

I went with the Sweeter Side of Rails because they had delicious cupcakes and were a great value. They were relatively easily to work with except some slow responses to emails. All the interactions with people at the Sweeter Side were great.

The cake didn't turn out so much like the picture and we actually had to add flowers to cover up some lopsidedness. We had ordered a three tier wedding cake and a sheet cake. The tiered cake was slightly dry, but good. The sheet cake was absolutely phenomenal!

All in all I had a good experience with the Sweeter Side.
